Not great taqueria food, but not bad also.  It will do the purpose of satisfying a snack craving at not bad prices.  You can get out of here satisfied for about 5 bucks.  Since i don't normally do chain fast food to get my quick fixes, places like this always get a try from me.

Tried 3 tacos: carnitas, cabeza and pastor.  Small guys @ $1.25 ea.  3 will satisfy a lite lunch appetite.  Corn tortillas were nice and soft, but all the meats lacked that umph that i seem to expect.  The salsa is good though, a blended fresh tomato and onion base with a dried, roasted chile background with med. heat.  The horchata is good here and you can get a monster cup of it for a little over 2 bucks, so big it won't fit in the cup holder of my car.  A Big Gulp if you will, of horchata, that'll get me back.

I wouldn't say that this is the best Mexican food I've ever had but it's better than a lot of places around here.  Their carne asada nachos are pretty good and they give you a LOT.

A solid neighborhood burrito and mexican food place. Nothing to rave about nor anything about which to complain. After stopping at Albertson's or buying your lottery ticket at the liquor store next door, take a burrito to-go. It's probably the only burrito place I know in the Ardenwood area because I always see someone that either went to Ardenwood, Walters, or Kennedy HIgh school there. It's close enough to skateboard to but just don't eat a burrito and skate at the same time. You will lose your balance and your burrito! -Matt
