Hands down the best Mexican food in Healdsburg, and though I haven't tried too many in other Sonoma County towns, probably one of the best all-around in the county. Carnitas are tops for the meats, with all the other delicious meats close behind. Even the camarones dishes are great. They also make some interesting vegetarian burrito options with vegetables, or try the chile relleno burrito if you are veg. They use whole pintos in the burritos, so no lard in them, and you can always ask for black beans. The only minor complaint is that every once in a while the chips are hit or miss. When they're hot and fresh, they're great, but sometimes they let them sit too long. Minor detail.
I've actually just ordered a torta to go for lunch as I write this, so gotta go pick it up. As always, "10 minutes it's ready."

I love that this place hasn't 'sold out' to the tourist crowd. Came here today with my guys from work for lunch.
Had the Al Pastor Burrito (it was good, it wasn't my favorite style of Al Pastor, but it was good) one of the guys had the fish tacos and he let me have a bite (delightful!) another guy had the matador burrito (wet burrito, with mole, guac and cheese covering it) I'm not a huge mole fan, not do I like my burritos wet, but it was tasty.
The Green avocadoy/tomatillo salsa is incredible, and I could have eaten an entire bowl of it! The tomatoe based salas is ok, although it tastes a little like spaghetti sauce to me, and the chips taste out of the bag - it's still great. (especially if slathered in the green goo of heaven)
The aqua frescas are one of my favorite things here. Today was cantalope. I also love the horchata, and the tamarindo. Service is always good, and I love the local flavor that comes in. You don't see the tourists stopping here.

Hands down, the best Mexican food in Healdsburg. Standouts are the chiles relleno, enchiladas (the mole is delicious) and carnitas. Avocado-tomatillo salsa as well as a tomato based salas are served with chips and service is amiable.

Who'd have thought delicious carnitas would be found in the middle of wine country. I had the nachos. With carnitas (in case you couldn't tell). Delicious!!! Very well seasoned. The service was great. The cashier was very patient with me when I asked her about portion sizes and the hostess was very accommodating of our large group. Yum!
I've been coming here since no one in Frisco knew where Healdsburg was! Damn wine-o's ruin everything good, get out of my taqueria! Menudo, damn good hangover cure! Taste like tia's cooking!

One of my favorite Mexican places in Healdsburg. They used to make a chile relleno burrito that was excellent, but claim they've never made it (maybe switched ownership??). The food here is more authentic and tasty than most of the other restaurants in town. Not much seating, poorly organized ordering area, but worth it to go in. Prices are average but the food is great!
The most authentic Mexican food in town. Excellent tacos, very good burriots. Their best meat is carnitas. Great chips and salsa too!
You could drive by this place 100 times and never know it's there.
They need a big sign out front, although if they had one they'd have
to double the size of the dining room. Food is muy bueno. Of all the
Mexican joints in Healdsburg this is along with El Sombrero one of
the best (and I think it's the cheapest).
Great Carnitas. I think it's better than "the hat" (El Sombrero).
Love the tacos, burritos are huge. Super burrito is about 3 meals worth.
Maybe the last remaining non-yuppie place in Healdsburg. Everything is yum.
