Hmmmmm, what can i say? Yuuuummmmmiiii!!!!!. I have been going to this taqueria since high school (class of 02) and i just can't find a better deal then taqueria Delicia's 2. My favorite is the Super burrito with carne al pastor(marinated  pork) trust me you will get full with this monster. I have tried other plates there and love them all. I recommend this to anybody that's on a budget and wants to treat his/hers taste buds to an orgasm.

Quick inexpensive lunch.  4 stars for the quantity of food you get for the $.  My only complaint is that their salsa could be much more spicier and they could offer a jalapeno or two on the side. Also of the 20+ times i have ordered too go they rarely include limes with the order. Other than those two complaints this place is a great inexpensive lunch, beats fast food hands down.
Also: The now under new ownership El Jaliscience III up the street across the street from the 7-11 had the best tacos period. Not enough of the public knew about this place which most likely resulted in the changed of ownership. The results were different salsa and cooking techniques, sadly not the best anymore. I have yet to return to the original El Jaliscience in Salinas to see if they also have changed..

We tried Taqueria Delicia's 2 yesterday, for the first time based on other yelper's rave reviews. I ordered an Al Pastor super burrito. My wife had the super nachos,(Asada). The total was $8.27 for both meals. The nachos weren't so impressive. Chips were ok, cheese was marginal, not the quantity but the quality. Could have been better quality cheese. Both meats were dry,in fact the rice was very dry also. Made for a dry Burrito in general. I judge taquerias on their Asada and Al Pastor, both could have been juicier. Another thing that annoys me is when the ingredients aren't spread evenly throughout the burrito. I was like, where's the sour cream? It showed up in the last bite.Same with the tiny bit of avocado. There wasn't any hot sauce or salsa in the burrito. I know that all sounds negative but get this,......I'll definately be going back!

Here's why: I don't typically like lettuce and tomato on my burrito but they put it on in large pieces, for some reason that made all the difference for me. The meat being too dry was just because it wasn't as fatty, not as tasty but I'm sure better for ya. The sour cream and avocado were scarce BUT I don't need all that anyway, (I've lost 105 pounds so I watch my weight). For $3.89 the super Burrito was the DEAL.

As another reviewer said, speaking Spanish would be helpful,(No Plates are listed on their menu but the pictures clearly show they offer a chili relleno plate).

Tortas that are super cheap (like 1.45) YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
I used to go here when I did my student teaching at Watsonville High. I went again today on a whim.... and yep...still love it.

    Cheap. Fast. Inexpensive.

This is about as close as it gets to cheap LA food prices.

This place was packed with locals Sunday morning. The portions were exceedingly generous and the prices dirt cheap. Carnitas super burrito only $3.89! Being able to speak spanish is a plus, but not necessary in this deliciously authentic taqueria.

Cash only, but it's Watsonville, so I suppose it can be forgiven.  Mexican Coca-Cola (made with REAL sugar) is served here, which also is a must when attending a taqueria during the workday, since beer is not an option.  No Mexi-Coca-Cola, no dice.  It's really that simple.

Fortunately for Delisia's2, Mexican Coke is available here in abundance.  The food here is SO GOOD, and dirt cheap.  The only problem is that it's a bit more of a walk for me than my usual stops, but I really shouldn't let it stop me.  Beware the jukebox, as it's not unusual for people to jam out some Mexican tunes full throttle, which can make it tough to choke down your meal, but it's rarely on for a whole lunchtime, so I can't really complain.

Most of the dishes contain meat, so that can be tricky for veggies, but the cheese enchilada swoops in to save the day.  The beef and carne asada is tender and savory, and their sauces are spicy and delicious.  Truly Delisias is Delicioso.  Highly recommended for Lunch.

Delicia's numero dos is numero uno if for nothing else than its carnitas.  I'm the new kid in town here, but I know from Mexican food.  A carnitas burrito, STUFFED with a huge portion of the best carnitas I've ever had, and a judicious amount of rice, beans (both high quality) and salsa for .... drum roll please ..... TWO DOLLARS AND FORTY-NINE CENTS!!!

The place is funky looking. The jukebox is amazing.  There are no menus, just a listing with some creative spelling on a big letterboard over the front counter.  But the staff is very nice (a little Spanish ability helps), the parking is convenient and the prices are so ridiculously low that I don't think I could cook it myself for the money.  A daily lunch special for $3.25? Getouttatown!  Or better yet, get over to Delicia's No. 2.

Dinged the joint for one star because there are no paper menus to take back to the office and because of the flippin' jukebox.

I adore Delicia's. They have the best carnitas I've ever had.  Carnitas tacos are a must, but everything is good on this menu.  The shrimp cocktails are huge! You can always find someone inside eating a shrimp cocktail.  The ceviche here is awesome.  It comes on a nice, crispy tostada shell and is a perfect meal for those fridays during Lent.  My mom actually gets containers of it to have at parties.
You can't go wrong with the menu here the carnitas, the asada, and the ceviche are the best. Plus Delicia's serves Mexican Cokes.
This place is a little run down and slightly grungy, but I'm willing to brave that for the awesome food here.

An asada taco and a pollo taco. soda. 4.24.  Good deal.

Nice and cheap, and good.  Asada taco was just basic thing, meat, cilantro and onions.  Good, but nothing special.  Pollo had nice shredded meat, topped with some cabbage.  Good flavor.

Plate came with a little container of salsa; not to spicy, but added a little needed heat to the asada.

A good choice for an inexpensive, bare bones taco.  Good honest food.

I have had probably over 500 chile relleno platters in my time as a Mexican Food-loving veg Head.  This platter made the Hall of Fame yesterday!  Simple, cheap, with lovely ladies chattering in the back making my food.  Heaven...I will be back!

All I have to say is $1.50 tacos and not the tiny mini taco but small plate sized tacos with cilantro, onions and salsa.  $3.50 lunch specials.  It cheap but good.  They even have shrimp cocktails.  I go here for lunch all the time.  The staff is super sweet.

i've had the vegitarian and chicken sopes, and both are good, the chicken is full of great flavor. cheaper and better than the farmers market.
a meal here leaves you satisfied. they also got a jukebox so you can yell at your friends with your mouth full. usually go here to start off the weekend. i took a friend visiting from d.c. he just kept on saying how he wished they had that in the east coast.

Yeah baby!!!  We love this place.  This is not a gourmet place, but the food is very well done.  We love the seafood, especially the shrimp cocktails for under $4.  Shrimp Ranchero for $5.50  woohoo!!!  The people are very nice.  I wish the place was a bit cleaner.  Bringing kids is fine, we  bring our baby most Fridays.

There are a few things you definitely shouldn't miss here.  First of all (and my long time favorite) are the Fried Fish Tacos.  I am not sure why they are so much better here than anywhere else but it's true!  Also the shrimp cocktail and shrimp tostada are fantastic.  But the true specialty here is their $2 lunches.  Every day is a different entree with rice and beans and you will be totally full after one lunch.  The food is superb authentic (even spelled mostly wrong in English which I use as a guide to authenticity LOL) and the prices are ridiculously cheap.

this is an great lunch stop for mexican food.  the menu is fairly basic (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc), but the food is very fresh and authentic.  the corn tortillas are excellent and the lunches are very filling for the price (which is very inexpensive).

Everyone is really nice and it is an inexpensive place to eat. However the cheese in the quesodilla is processes and the agua fresca is from a mix (taste very artificial).  The sopes are mushy in the middle as if they were deep fried. Large portions off junky Mexican food, you could do a lot better.
