Tanner's Bar & Grill

Service was slower than slow. The staff was busy flirting with each other. And then to top off our wonderful experience of empty glasses and cheap flirty entertainment, someone decided to alter the tip amount left on my CC. Hope that extra cash was worth it.... you lost a local and earned a bad review.

I don't know that we'll be back, but if we ever give it another go, I will definitely be bringing cash.

This Tanner's is nothing like the others. The only reason they're getting one star is because I have to give them at least one. Their menu isn't even half the size as the other tanners. There's no kids menu, and the service sucks. Then, we decide to go somewhere else right after we ordered because the kids really weren't gonna eat what they ordered. When I told the waitress she got all huffy and puffy with me and stomping around with the worst attitude I've ever seen. You don't treat customers like that. No wonder you're dead on a Saturday night with 3 people at the bar and 2 tables in the dining room. Good luck, you'll need all the luck you can get.

I had the tacos which were really good and the service could have been better. If I wanted a refill I had to get up from my seat and walk to the other room and wait at the bar for a refill. My regret for going to this place was they used my debit card to pay for some other customer's order. So on top of me paying for my order, I also paid for someone to have a free meal. I will not be dining at this restaurant again.

If you're planning on having a party, this is the place to go. They are really nice and service is fantastic. They have a big room for rental with a pool table, dart boards, and a shuffleboard table. They have some pretty good food! Only downside to the place was the cooling in the back room was pretty warm. Otherwise I would recommend it!

Worst thing they ever did was move back to this location. Menu is nothing like all the other locations and the"owner" is a piece of work. Can't substitute for onion rings when it said right on the small menu, unless you want to pay 9 bucks. Dunno whay happened here but will never go to this location again, 3 to 4 times a month we went when out was across the street, other customers couldn't believe whay was going on either. Don't ask about specials cause they have none!!! feel bad for the waitress, she was great. Not the same Tanners, plus prices are higher than the other locations too, thoroughly disappointed and will never go back

I don't know why all the bad press for this place (other than that most of the reviews seem to be one-and-done yelpers). We headed over for some chicken lips and the Royals game on a random weeknight. It wasn't too busy (and maybe that's the catch), so we were seated and waited on pretty quickly.

Food was as tasty as all of the other Tanner's we've been to in town. Drinks were just as average. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive. The game was on most of the TVs in the bar area with the audio on, and the small crowd was cheering along. It was pretty warm out, so no one was outside, but they do have a pretty large patio. Inside was cool, but the air was just a little funky (stray humidity in the a/c or woodwork somewhere)-- not offensively so, though.

A true Yelp A-OK 3+ star rating.

Went here tonight for a quick dinner. We arrived at around 6:10. There were only two other tables with people and a couple guys at the bar. The table next to us had not been bussed yet and had drinks napkins etc all over it. Took a while to get menus but when we did the waitress was nice and was personable with our two kids aged 7 and 12. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. They finally put a rush on our order at 745 after we had already waited close to 30 minutes. Another 30 minutes went by and I changed our order to go and paid our tab. About 10 minutes later our food finally came out. Burgers were over cooked and over seasoned. We won't be coming back. BTW. The table next to us that had not been bussed when we got there? Still not bussed when we left.

The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the sliders and a friend if mine ordered the prime rib sandwich. My sliders were not seasoned at all and kinda tasted rotten. The prime rib was ordered medium rare but came out mooing! Pretty disappointing since I've been to Tanner's plenty of times on the Kansas side and never had a problem.

If you're looking for late night food, drive next door to Applebee's for 1/2 price appetizers after 9pm. Much better deal and better quality of food.

They have reopened across the street behind Popeyes. Next to the dollar general. The new establishment, food, and service was great!

I'm not sure why all the complaints here. I always have friendly service. The food is good and the drinks are cold. My favorite are the nachos, but I've never had bad food here.
