i have a feeling like i could get to like this place. what's not to like about finding great deals?
on the flip side, this place gets hopping on saturdays. reserve your visit for a weekday. trust me. -

I may despise Jan Brady, find Peter tolerable, and think that Alice was perfectly sassy, but at the end of the day you've got to assign a rating to the whole show. I'm not particularly interested in many of the stores up at Tanger, but there are a few that are interesting. The "Sam The Butchers" of the retail world.
It had been a few years, so I swung by to check the place out on a Saturday. Not the best maneuver if you're looking to get things done, but since we were just perusing I didn't mind the crowds. The parking lot is now a one-way loop (was it always?) but that's fine.
Here's where the outlets lose cred, and I'm not the only one to say so: Are these really outlets? I thought the whole point behind and outlet was that factory rejects or discontinued items or, I dunno, discounted items were sold there. In my mind I concocted a complex treaty where they had to be located a certain distance from neighboring full retail stores. If that used to be the case, it most certainly isn't anymore. Oh, you can pick up a few bargain basement items if you look long and hard, but... uh.. isn't that the same with non-outlet stores?
The moral of the story is that you shouldn't show up here thinking you'll find incredible outlet prices. There are some good ones (like the one where Marcia is hit in the nose with a football) and some lousy ones (the one where Peter's voice is changing so he can't sing on the record) but after a while you just don't feel like dealing with it anymore. Go here to go shopping, just like you would a mall. -

Now a days these places are not really outlets, they might have some store that are a bit lower than in the regular stores but not by much. Also if you are going to offer coupons please have a sign maybe in the front window of each store that does take then. I do know it's on the back but tell me how many people read it or can't read English and have no idea till they get up to the counter????? Lots ) Over all clean friendly place have come there for yrs.

This outlet mall is a big one, but my main beef is that a lot of the stores here aren't really outlets and are just regularly priced retail stores.
I love the huge Aldo here, the selection is enormous and you can usually find a big selection of sale shoes. I've gotten great deals on clothing and accessories during President's Day sales and other Holiday shopping sales and almost always hit this place up during those shopping times because of the great finds on purses and other items. Guess is probably my favorite store, followed closely by Wilson's Leather.
It's outdoor, so dress warmly if it's winter because this place is massive and you will do a lot of walking in the cold. -

I love love love these outlet stores. This collection of outlets can't be beat, with choices like Lucky Brand, Nike, Adidas, Bath and Body Works, Aeropostale, Down East Basics, and on and on. So much to choose from! It takes the whole day to peruse them all.
They have the parking worked out to the best that they can, with a one way only loop around the perimeter. You are never far from the stores wherever you park.
Loved my field trip here. Two pairs of Adidas running shoes for $75? Sign me up! -
Review from Ryan K.
Most of the shops have good deals, although some aren't outlets at all, and seem to charge full price for their products (I'm looking at you, Pearl Izumi and Aeropostale).
Try to avoid on Saturdays, as this place gets PACKED. -

Been here a couple times now. Some really great selections for stores. Parking is really easy there, just watch out, it's one way traffic. So pay careful attention to the traffic signs and on the street.
Have AAA membership, pick up a FREE coupon book! It will save you a couple bucks. They actually sell these coupon books for $5. Saved a couple dollars with the coupon for a tour at the Utah Olympic Park just down the street. Totally worth it! -

I'm clearly in the minority here but I am so unimpressed with the Tanger Outlets it isn't even funny. There just didn't seem to be much that I wanted. The best is probably the Coach outlet but even that wasn't fabulous... it was however, the most organized.
Yes, they have a large number of stores, yes, it's close to the ski slopes but I didn't think it was at all spectacular. There are much better stores and outlet malls out there for me to really venture back here.Listed in: Park City, Utah (and some…

Why oh why do I only take a carry-on to Utah when I know I'm going to be shopping at the outlets in park city? I always say I'm only going to buy a few things but always end up with bags and bags of things I just have to have, things that I have to cram into my small carryon luggage.
There are always ridiculous sales going on. I always seem to ask one of the sales clerk if the price on the shirt I picked up isn't a mistake. It's too good to be true. I found some bras for only $2 each at the Jockey Store. Sunglasses at Fossil 2 for $14. Sweaters at the Gap for $10. So much good stuff.
Minus a star for only having 2 bathrooms in the entire place and NO food court.Listed in: Visiting the Salty Lakes

Review from Sam S.
The Tanger Outlets in Park City are great! We are fortunate to have a great outlet mall like Tanger Outlets here in Utah and so close to Salt Lake City, where I like. I particularly like the Calvin Klein store, Aldo, Nike, Columbia, and Old Navy stores. You can usually get some great deals at the outlets and most stores frequently offer coupons that can save you even more. Plus, if you have a AAA membership stop by the Tanger Outlets offices for a booklet of coupons. I think they may also offer coupon books for military personnel, but check with the office for details. Because the mall is outside be prepared for a lot of walking to and from the different stores, and during the winter bundle up tight because it can be very cold in Park City.

Tanger Outlets are surprisingly empty. Expect to find most stores with bored employees walking up and down the aisles eager to help any incoming customer. Competing for the same sized clothing just became a lot easier.
The majority of the sidewalks are being redone, hence the wide usage of warning tape and deconstructed cement. You can pretty much walk around the place with much ease. The entire walk around the place is about 2 miles.
I'm not much of a shopper but for the shoppers that were there, they looked like they were having a blast. There were many discounts off of already discounted products. I hear that the Coach shop had good buys. There's a playground nearby as well. -

Do you realize how awesome having an outlet mall within 10 minutes of the ski slopes? They have an amazingly large variety of shops and stores. Basically anything that you could want or need is there.
If you are planning a trip I would definitely leave room for shopping purchases.

Review from Erin Q.
La Mesa, CA
What do you do when it's raining on Memorial Day? You visit the outlets, of course. Perhaps I'm spoiled by the Carlsbad Outlet Center in San Diego, but this place was just so-so. I was happy they had a Nine West and Banana Republic, but aside from that, I was not very enthused.
What's interesting is how many baby stores they have there - good night! I know, I know, we're in Utah so there's bound to be a bunch of stores for all of those young baby makers, but this place has a Gymboree, a Children's Place, an Osh Kosh, and a Carter's - isn't that a little excessive? Sadly, I did have to enter into the Carter's to look for a baby shower gift. But thank goodness for Memorial Day sails. I got almost $40 worth of stuff for just over $20...not too bad. But it came with an additional pricetag - having to make small talk with the sales lady. When she saw my license, she went on and on and on about her life in Southern California and how she cried her first day of high school because the school was gated and how she'd become an alcoholic like her friend who lives in the ghetto because of the gun shots that she heard but initially thought it was a car backfiring and then she's so happy because the air is so crisp out here but oh she thinks it's so funny because people actually smell the rain out here but could I smell the rain? oh she couldn't but thought it was so funny and now she has horses and just loves living out in the mountains and oh she went back to California to visit her family because her mom still lives there and is 94 and just decided to get rid of her license and she can't react as well at the wheel anymore....yeah, annoying huh? And that's only a fraction of it. A five minute stop ended up taking over 15 minutes.
Anyway, this place is catered to a younger crowd, with the American Eagle and Rue 21...ick. I would have ventured up to the Nike outlet had it not been pouring down rain - plus I would probably go crazy there. I'll probably stop by again for Banana, though I won't take a trip up there solely for the outlets - not worth the gas. -

This is probably the most beautiful outlet mall I've ever been to. The mountain setting is great. And, it's just right off the freeway.

This outlet mall is ok, not great. My favoprite stores are the JCrew, Ralph Lauren, Columbia Sportswear and Cosmetics Company. The rest don't interest me much and are a bit baby-centric. There is also a Coach store. It's ok, not great. Make sure you review the list of stores before you head over here to make sure it has some stuff you'd be interested in - they are only 4-5 stores I like but that's ok since I live 5 minutes away. I wouldnt drive far to go to the stores though
