Review from Linny F.
Is there a need to mourn the loss of the AC strip mall over to Tanger? I'm not sure of that answer, but one thing for sure is, IT'S STILL a darn good deal! ALL OVER THE PLACE!
Naturally, some seasons have better deals than if you just go any day, but it's still pretty awesome for someone who can't/won't/don't wanna shop at regular price (like me).
Some of my favorite deals are at:
Ecko
Coach / Coach Men
Underarmor
Adidas
Sketchers
Converse / Nike
Guess
Life is Good
Some deals YOU may like are at:
Lacoste
Ralph Lauren
Calvin Klein
Banana Republic
BCBG Max Azria
Forever 21
Timberlands
Minimum sale is usually 20%, average 40%, max 70%! Shop away~Listed in: Just For Fun!

Review from Wendy Y.
If you're visiting Atlantic City for the weekend, you definitely should stop by the Tanger Outlets. They're right outside the casinos as well as the bus station so they're very easy to get to.
So many different stores! It's hard to only choose a handful of stores to visit. When we decided to come to the outlet, our plan was to only hit a few stores. We ended up spending the entire afternoon there and went into almost every store. It was great being able to find styles that you never see at the regular stores. And the prices are great! Who can say no to low prices? Our favorite stores were Adidas, Banana Republic, Rockport and Coach. There are also a lot of good restaurants close by if you get hungry, such as Ruth's Chris, Longhorn Steakhouse, Melting Pot, and more.
It's also a nice change of scenery from being in the casinos and playing the slots. With this, at least you'll be sure to get some winnings! -
Review from Phil H.
So many stores here now that there are just too many to list. The Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City keeps expanding and adding in more stores. All the big brand names are here from Nike, Coach, Disney, J Crew, The Gap, Hanes, Marc Ecko, Timberland, Ralph Lauren, Underarmer, and so many more. You can walk around here for a whole weekend and not get to all of them.
As I have shopped here a few times I have noticed it's hit or miss on prices. Some things can be found at steep discounts, some at a small discount, and others it seems at no real savings at all. Shop around to pick and choose as a bit of "retail hunting" is sometimes required here.
There are some terrific bargains to be found, especially during the winter holiday season, and meandering around the outlets is a nice way to kill some time during the day rather than staying in the casinos all the time while there. They are easy to get to as it's right in the center of AC right down the street from the casinos. It's only a few minutes walk, or you can drive and there is a pay for parking lot close by. There are also a few places to eat and a Starbucks too.
Funny, I sometimes feel like I lose more money here at the outlets than at the blackjack tables or slots! -

Amazing!
I had a great time shopping here, its so many stores I wasnt able to go to them all. The staff at all stores were nice, helpful and very friendly. I will definitely come back here anytime I am in Jersey period! -

Normally I'm not much of an outlet shopper - I think they're a hassle to get to and you can normally find the same items at your local store for similar prices when they have the stuff on clearance.
In this case, there isn't much to do in AC if you're not into gambling and don't have a car to drive around randomly.
The outlet gives you that one thing to do especially there's not much on the boardwalk outside of casinos, tarot card readers and massage places.
there are some bargains to be had, but do your due diligence- everything's on sale all the time here. -
Review from Lili K.
I don't even need to list the stores for you--
My boo and I got some great deals at various stores. Of course, we just like to look at the clearance items, but you get a lot of great steals! I got a cute dress from G for $15, he got work pants at Gap for $8, etc...
I like how the Outlets are all over the heart of AC (versus having to drive to them, like with Vegas). You can walk there from the Sheraton, Caesar's, Tropicana, etc...although I did see others sit in those carts where the guys push them to their destination. Oh, you can just walk it! -

Eh.
As far as outlets go, this one is decent. A good selection of stores at a variety of price points. Not a lot of deals to be had...most were "factory" instead of outlet stores. You many of the stores had coupons you could access online and show on your smartphone. The only thing I didn't like was how spread out everything was. This place is called "the walk" for a reason. You had to travel across very busy streets to get from one section to the other. A nice addition would be walkways above some of the major streets to keep the pedestrian traffic moving. Will be back next time I'm in AC, but won't make a special trip out of it. -
Review from Alex A.
Manhattan, NY
I love this outlet. It's a great place to find good deals and the fact that it's a mixture of factory stores and regular stores is nice. If your not into gambeling then come to shop at AC it's a fun place to shop and eat

Review from Tamara O.
I LOVE these outlets for: the Nike, J. Crew, Wilson Leather, Forever 21, Bare Feet, and Van Huesen stores. The outlets are all walking distance from the larger casinos. They feature sales and coupons for the barganistas out there. Parking is scarce so valet park or park at one of the hotels.
The weather was beautiful during my stay so I enjoyed walking in and out of stores. Stop in; you will find great deals! Coach was even offering an additional 30% off purchases. -
Review from Khathy H.
"Oooh! What's that!? It's so pretty!" You can obviously see that I haven't visited Atlantic City in over 5 years.
I've seen my share of outlets from various states and cities, let that be known. My first day back in Atlantic City, I noticed this major change and a cool new addition of "The Walk," which had me excited because the Boardwalk was no longer the only place to stroll around. Since it's almost winter and the beach isn't so appealing, Tanger Outlets is a nice outlet--look at that!
I must admit it's an odd string of stores, however. Crossing the street with your sights set on the next store might put you in a car collision, with you as the collateral. Dangerous as that may be, but then again so is emptying out your bank account, this is a close and fun activity if you are bored in the area. Parking is a hit or miss, but if you're going to spend money you might as well, or keep driving around until you get a free spot, like on a Sunday near closing time. The best part about shopping here is: no sales tax! California needs to follow suit.
Alas, all in all I would recommend this to visitors in the area. Hopefully you'll win some spending money in the casinos first before hitting the shops. -

Great place to get a ticket for J-walking or hit by a car.

The outlets are ok, but not too many real designer brands.
Just brands that make lower quality stuff to sell in outlets. -

Philadelphia, PA
So - so. I am spoiled from the outlets in Limerick. No Kate Spade so I was pretty turned off. So done with Coach, etc.. Additionally, most of the stores sell their normal everyday stock without discounting = so not a true outlet. More like a mall.

Go here atleast every other year, if not annually. Great deals and a variety of stores.

Review from Debbie E.
Good set of stores even though you can find all of them in any regional outlet center. Mostly factory stores and not outlets - the prices overall are not clearance prices. But in most stores you can find a decent selection that its main stores do not carry.
Restrooms are hard to find, but right in the middle is a McDonald's, so use that.
Parking is difficult on the street. We usually park in the Bally's hotel and casino parking garage. $5 for all day and it's only a block over. -

Queens Village, Queens, NY
Plenty of stores and when I say plenty I mean an assload!
Did I go in to all of them? No. I don't love shopping enough to frequent that many stores in one day. I did go to more than I expected though.
Plenty of people out there, roaming around. The stores weren't too packed. It was all good. Not the bestest deals I've ever seen in my life time but decent stuff.
I'd come back. It was fun and a nice little escape from NY. Worth the drive out here. I definitely got a few things. Worth it for sure. -

Excellent outlets. Why? If you're here in Atlantic City for the weekend (casinos and nightclubs galore) and you need a party dress or last minute accessory, here is the place to go!
The outlets are located conveniently down the street from major casinos (Caesar's, Bally's), and the NJ Transit Bus terminal is right at the outlets. The selection here is pretty decent (I'm speaking on the ladies' part). You got Guess, H&M, BCBG MaxAzria, and Aldo (amongst other stores) for your last minute party gear. You got Lacoste for your preppy sporty needs. You got Coach, Michael Kors, DKNY, Kenneth Cole, etc. for your bag hankerings. For funky stores, you have Life is Good (I LOVE THIS PLACE), Crocs...
I went here on a Saturday with some girl friends, and it was never too crowded. The stores are outside, so you have to go be out in the sun to go place to place. They are pretty centered in one area, so the most you walk is like maybe 15-20 minutes to circle around all the stores. Watch out for cars.
I found the most body-fitting dress ever at Guess that was sexy yet not skanky (no cleavage!) for only $36. Bargains here at the stores are pretty good. I will say that I was a little disappointed with the Michael Kors store because it's a lot smaller than at most outlet stores, but whatever. The Coach store is awesome and as big as the other Coach stores. Of course, the inside was a frenzy but the deals are great - always a 30% off coupon being handed to you by the greeter at the front.
A good thing about the outlets being in NJ is that you don't have to pay sales tax on clothing or shoes. -
Review from Ben C.
Shopping is a must every time im here. Bring ur wallet if u don't gamble.

As with all outlets, it all depends on whether there are places you regularly shop in, and the time of year.
Avoid busy "beach" weekends like Labor Day, Fourth of July, and Memorial Day weekends. Also, don't pay for parking. Look around Indiana Ave for free or cheaper parking. If you do pay for the lot next to H&M, don't eat at the Tun Tavern- it's not very good at all.
Anyway, the sales are usually very good, and you can avoid summer crowds by shopping during the day or during the week. -

South River, NJ
Pretty decent outlets. They have plenty of the favorite stores. Before I visited I went to their website and checked out if there were any specials or printable coupons. To my luck there were some store-wide specials going on that weren't advertised at the store but were online, so I guess I lucked out. Didn't like how such a clean outlet plaza is in a pretty disgusting ghetto neighborhood. I would recommend any other outlet over this because of its location, and there is nothing really special about other than its new, but i'm sure soon down the road it'll will begin to resemble the neighborhood it sits in.

Washington, DC
This is really probably one of the best outlet malls between DC and NY. It has a very good variety of stores (my favorite is Coach) and restaurants (and now, nightlife).
The cherry on top of this shopper's cake is Atlantic City itself, the excess here actually works. You can visit the walk to find the one-of-a-kind-because-it's-no-longer-sold items, and then go to Caesars to find the newer designs.
You can also use the beach to take a mental break from all that shopping and then try to win some money to repeat the cycle.
Ah, capitalism...did I mention that there's no tax.
LET THE BANK CARD BURNING BEGIN. Can someone treat me to an outlet Coach bag? Please? -

I love The Walk!
Great selection of stores in close proximatey to the casinos and boardwalk. They seem to have been going through a lot of store turnover in the past few years, however the anchors are all still there, Coach moved to a larger location with Bath and Body Works (not an oulet store) taking its spot. It's important to keep in mind that not all stores at The Walk are outlets.
Parking is a bit of a pain here. We typically take the jittney from the hotel or park at Ceasar's to get close parking. We also use "Pair of Hearts" parking a lot, located in the heart of The Walk. Their valet service runs around $12 on the weekends. -
Review from Yumm Y.
A great outlet full of great high end as well as low end stores.
Favs are BCBG, Converse, Polo Ralph Lauren, Carters & The Children's Place (for baby needs), Disney, H&M, Nine West, etc. to name a few.
A lot of good restos within walking distance. Close to Caesars.
Fun to walk around, especially when the weather is warm & sunny. -

Centreville, VA
love this place. right near atlantic city casino areas (ie: taj mahal and cesars palace).
didnt have much time to shop. Quickly went through H&M and some bargain shoes store. wanted to shop more but had people waiting for me to go to the casino. Had to cut my shopping spree short.
Parked at vallet parking. Yes, Vallet parking is available for the outlet mall. -
Review from Donald P.
I love it when you use yelp and actually find something useful such as free valet parking on Tuesdays at least as of this writing.
There is a wide variety of shops here and although it'd be better if this were an indoor complex since NJ winters can get cold, it's better than nothing. -
Review from Libby V.
Be prepared to walk...this place is very large and has so much variety. It's a only two block walk from the board walk in a safe area (I understand all of AC isn't in "safe" areas but I've never seen or had a problem here).
The mall has upscale stores (St John, Coach) and stores you see at every outlet mall (Nike, Disney). I spoke to my son one day who was ready to walk into the Pier Shops at Caesar's for shoes and sent him here. He called later to thank me and tell me about how much he saved. Mom is the hero again!!!! (Hey, I'll take it where I can get it)
There are plenty of food choices. It's an open air mall, and I enjoy the fresh air after being inside casino's for hours on end. And look at all the money I save not being in the casino! Even if I buy a thing or two (or three) . Be sure and leave plenty of room in in your suitcase...you won't leave here empty handed. And do as I say, not as I do...wear your walking shoes! -

Manhattan, NY
I do not like the shop and in general I do not like Outlets. There is one in NJ that I will shop at and I always get crazy bargains there. Having said that my husband was able to find shoes that I have been looking for for several years at the Marc Ecko outlet here! They were $60.00 sneakers and we got them for $20.00! There was no web site that had them since they were discontinued! So I know you can get bargains here! I actually hate every outlet I have been to in NY! It seems like the Jersey outlets have stores that I can actually buy things I need from. We went to one outlet in NY probably the most popular one and the items were marked higher than the new stuff on the web site. Here you can actually get bargains! The lack of stars is just because I hate to shop. But if I have to shop this is a good option!

Brooklyn, NY
Definitely a breath of fresh air to the sometimes cheap and dirty looking areas surrounding the casinos of Atlantic City. When I arrived to AC two years ago I was shocked to see this place. It is a few streets of all the best shopping has to offer.
* Banana Republic Outlet (my favorite shop)
* Polo Ralph Lauren
* Nine West Outlet
* Nike Factory Store
* Liz Claiborne Outlet
* KB Toy Outlet
* Kenneth Cole Outlet
* J. Jill Outlet
* Guess Factory
* GAP Outlet
* Coach Factory
...and about 20 more amazing stores and outlets
plus if you need some food after all that credit card swiping check out
* Applebees
* Auntie Anne's Pretzels
* The Melting Pot fondue restaurant
* Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
* Starbucks
* 40/40 club
Definitely a great addition to the revitalization of A/C...I would travel here and not even gamble its that good. -

New York, NY
Great addition to Atlantic City. We all can't shop at Gucci and Burberry at the Piers at Caesars, so cross over the Boardwalk and try the outlets. Some stores offer extremely discounted items and then there are other stores (like H&M) that don't even seem like an outlet. I'm pretty sure it's a regular H&M. Anyway, the stores are great and varied in styles and taste.
Here's just a short sample of stores I can remember off the top of my head:
BCBG, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Kenneth Cole, Guess, PacSun, Bath & Body Works, Banana Republic, American Eagle, Timberland, Old Navy, Gap, Wilsons Leather, Nautica, DKNY, Calvin Klein, an awesome chocolate store, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Aeropostale, Icing, J. Crew and tons more.
Be sure to bring that plastic! -

Pick up a map a the visitor's center and it will help you planning your way around this place. There are a great variety of stores from Nike to ToysRUs to Nautica, Banana Republic, Coach, etc...In other words there is something for everybody. The sales were decent. I gave it a 3 star because unlike other outlets where there is limited traffic, you do have to cross major intersections to get from store to store. I can't attest to the parking because we stayed at the hotel and walked down to the outlets.

This place is meant for serious shopping. No tax, great sales, and soo much variety. They have quality for the price of clearance. They also have a nice selection of solid restaurants like Ruth's Chris and the Melting pot to name a few.
One could easily spend 2 days at The Walk just visiting every store. -

My boyfriend and I came to these outlets this past weekend. We were excited by how many stores this outlet had. It covers several blocks and is a nice way to spend an afternoon. We parked for free in the Sun Bank a few blocks away. There are tons of great stores here. A few of our favorites were J. Crew, Nike, Coach, Bath and Body Works and Gap. The J. Crew really had some good deals. We also grabbed coffee in the morning at Starbucks and shared some appetizers for lunch at the Applebee's. We'll definitely be back!!

I prefer the mall with the designer stores however, if I'm actually intending on purchasing something I'll head over here and look for some sales. Unfortunately, the stores in this mall don't really get me. There are only a few select stores I care for, and the merchandise isn't very generous. Not one of the best outlet malls in my time, so I usually just pass through, or around.

Always find great sales here. They have everything and more both here and on the ceasers boardwalk mall. You can't go wrong here with the deals you find here any day of the week. I must say that these outlet stores are better than the ones out on Jersey Shore or out in Woodbury.

A great place to do some shopping for cheaper than normal retail. The blocks seem very lively because of the proximity of the stores to each other yet it doesn't feel cramped. It's a nice change of scenery from the seedier surroundings.

The last time I came I took a visit to the mall and I found some great bargains. It's a great place to take a break from the one armed bandits. What's great is that they are within walking distance to most of the casinos. Some of the stores are real outlets but they still sell stuff they are cheaper than the regular stores and have some items that aren't in the normal stores. I wouldn't come to Atlantic City just to go the mall but if you are already there it's worth a visit.

this place makes Atlantic City alot better use to look all run down but looks very nice....lots of stores to choose from having sales at outlets with no tax is very good combination lol has very affordable stores from Old Navy , Polo , Banana Republic , Timbaland , and H&M etc...
