Definitely this place has the best chili cheese fries I have ever tried!!!
For real, I don't know how the make their chili sauce but it is so good.
Also, the chicken salad is bomb. Portions are too generous and the price is to applaud.
Great spot in H.P!
I wish we had this place in the bay area. We were driving by and saw the ad for 1/4 lb burger for .99 cents. .99 censt!!!! OMG! I was expecting some ok burger but it was great. I think the 1/4 lb is for everything with the veggies but who cares. The taste was great. Grilled buns, fresh cooked burger, fresh veggies plus the ketchup/mayo or maybe thousand island sauce. Definitely try Tam's burgers!
As someone who is astounded to be in Huntington Park and it's concentration of burger joints, my friend and I (from out of town) decide to visit this establishment.
I order the Colossal Burger meal and my friend orders a BLT meal. The Colossal burger is one with 1/4 meat, pastrami, lettuce, onion, tomato, and thousand island sauce. The meal came with LOTS of fries, some onion rings, and a drink; all for $7.99.
The burger I had was pretty tasty. From Washington, we don't seem to have these kind of fast-food places (Fatburger is only NOW reaching our humble abode), so something like this is a god-send for a burger lover like myself. Kinda hard to hold in hand with just the bun; the way I like it. Finished licking my fingers when I was done. The onion rings were pretty good, but the fries were just ok.
If you're in the area, it might be worth a look if you're new. Otherwise, you may have already decided on your own 'burger joint' in the area, as I can't see what differentiates the other sites from this one.
Simply putting it everything that i have tried on the menu has been great!!
they will let you custom make your food i remember eating chili cheese fries with carne asada on top mmmmm. It was really good its a must to go try their food.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!
all my best buds and i used to visit tam's about 3-4 times a week back in high school..... we always got the same thing: cheeseburger, and large chili cheese fries (omg omg omg!) and and order of fried zucchini with a side of thousand island dressing and ranch, all made there!
there are some other things I've tried that i thought were great, Like their pancakes, pastrami, onion rings, spicy wings, chicken salads, even gyros yeah, check em' out.
i know someone reviewed a different location and said that their fries were soggy and bland, well sista there's this thing called SALT add at yr own discretion jeez...i personally like, no I'm lying i lovvvvvve soggy fries.
yummmmmm
i almost forgot........they have ORANGE BANG which i love love love
Chili cheese fries seriously the best ever all other food is very good but very typical burger joint but just go and get the chili cheese fries you will want to hug them.
OK, thanks to my love, I tried a slice of Los Angeles fast food heaven. this place is fucking awesome. sloppy big greasy burgers (the way i like them if you haven't noticed) with tons of thousand island dressing. (i get mine with no lettuce since they put more than the size of the meat patty) and a side of chili cheese fries. OMG, I haven't had chili fries like that anywhere in Texas, and that's actually kind of sad, ha! I was introduced, also, to this drink- orange bang. its like a melted orange Julius in a cup, I couldn't stop drinking the stuff. I'm sure that this place has more than just good burgers and fries, they have a huge menu. 2 thumbs way up here.
