one of my favorite courses, but it's just too darn expensive.
located in the middle of san clemente, you wouldn't believe how beautiful and green this course is.
Greens Fees are a bit pricey, as golf is, but it's worth it at this location.
Great Carts.
Great GPS.
Great upkeep.
never busy.
Try and use your RED DOT coupon book (available at Auto Club) and you will have  a buy one get one free. that makes it very much worth it.

The course itself is one of the best in OC.  If you haven't played it, you should add it to your 'must play' list.

The clubhouse is very well appointed and the grounds are beautiful.  I am a big fan of the course and clubhouse.  The pro shop is pretty decent as well.

The food is definitely better than average.  The mahi mahi sandwich is a must.  The service in the restaurant is pretty good, but can be a little slow.  The bar itself is very tiny and the bartender is less than gracious.

We went back for the 4th of July. And there was hardly anyone there. We had the course pretty much to our selves and it was great. No rushing, no waiting. We took our own sweet time and I think the couple in front of us did the same, because when a foursome catches up to a couple. You know they were taking even sweeter time than we were. And we even then let then play through in the front 9.

I had the best round of golf EVER. Fuck YEAH!

A beautiful and well maintained course.  If you are a duffer, like me, bring lots of extra balls: you'll lose them in the brush and water traps.

I agree with the other reviewer on joining the email list.  Without it, this course is spendy.

Staff is polite and friendly, from the starter to the clubhouse folk to the beer cart crew.

This place is AWESOME.  You MUST sign up to their email list which can be found on their website.  By signing up you will receive weekly e-mails of phenomenal specials such as tee times after 330pm at $35.00!!! This course is a gem.  Plays well, beautiful scenery, maintained well.  Staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and the place is very clean.  Go check this course out, definately my favorite in Orange County!

This place is ok. I am partial to Arroyo Trabuco. We usually eat lunch here then play.  Service for lunch is pretty slow. But as for the golf course, it plays pretty fast. Its very well kept, very nice. I love the 18th hole, its my favorite. The only thing I don't like about this place is the driving range is pretty far from the course. You can have the course 'shuttle' you back and forth, or drive yourself.  The driving range is artificial grass, which I don't prefer, but they have a chipping practice area which I think is very nice. The putting practice area is right there at the 1st tee. ** now that I think of it, I've never seen a 'cart girl' on this course, so if you want drinks and stuff, you better BYO. You stop by the club house heading in to the back 9, and you can pick up some stuff there, but they are as slow as hell.
