Have a hankerin' for a fantastic Greek meal and a recession-friendly price? Well, then you need to find your way to Crown Hill. Their food is better than some of the finer Mediterranean restaurants in town AND you won't go away hungry.
Get their Greek salad - it's the real greek deal - no lettuce and just the right amount of feta and dressing.
Their gyros are meaty prepared with just the right amount of seasonings. You'll be full after 1/2 or 3/4, but the flavor pulls you in until it's gone. Mmm.
Garlic fries are delicious - the vampires question whether or not you're safe for biting, BUT these fries are NOT as overwhelming as the garlic-gut-bombs sold at the ballpark. Yikes! Those will keep everyone away from you for days!
Their lamb and chicken soulvaki are delicious, too.
Parking is cool in the Pizza Hut and Chase bank after 6pm.
This fun little greek restaurant is great! The 5 dip sampler, greek salad and falafel are done right here. The atmosphere is a bit quirky, but cute, and the establishment is family owned and operated, which makes me want to support it.
The chicken in the souvlaki (sp?) sando was very juicy and tender, the chicken I added to my greek salad was not the same style of chicken and was a bit overcooked/charred and fatty for my tastes. The salad was very large and filling, but overly oiled in my opinion. The falafel here is unreal and perfectly prepared, and their little phyllo dough with walnut and orange glaze dessert will keep me coming back for more :)
A fair warning- it can get rather expensive if you want to order extra appetizers and such beyond just a sandwich.
This place is one of our favorite local restaurants. I would be thoroughly saddened if it ever went away. Their food is VERY good and reasonably priced. Because of it's location on busy 15th, it's easy to miss, but that means the restaurant is never crowded except on Saturday nights when there is a belly dancing and Taki's live music going on. A fun time to be had be all.. if you're ok with loud Greek music (which I happen to enjoy). The wait staff usually consists of just Taki's wife, who is a dear. She's so friendly and quirky, she truly adds to the character of the place. =)
Parking: On the street in front, or the Pizza Hut parking lot next door, you can also park in the bank parking lot across the street (all OK'd)
The only downside I would say is that their service is slow and I wish they were open more/longer. We go there when we don't have a schedule to meet, and enjoy their comforting food and friendliness.
Support this place! :)
Slam on the breaks just about passed the Mad Greek, but damn its almost closing time, they seated me then turned off the open sign, I was like I'm sorry are you closing ? yes but its ok you were seated before we turned off the sign ( yeah but just barely, I was ready to leave) go ahead and order then don't be in a hurry its ok ( this doesn't happen anywhere these days I was Impressed !!)
oh yeah I was out and about and I was hungry but didn't know what I wanted, so I just let my wheels roll on down the road, till I was going threw Crown Hill and I saw the mad Greek, so I flipped a bitch and went back to check it out
and I am so happy I did !!!
I had the Lamb Souvlaki sammich and a order of Greek Fries
OMG the Souvlaki was to fucking die for, the meat was just right, I mean just lightly pink in the middle and oh so Tender, and the Feta, Onions and Sauce all just went so well together
the Garlic fries were damn tasty a good amount of Garlic on them, and seasoning
the best part of the night was a friend stopped in to get dinner and I got to talk to him for a minute :) my friend is Greek and when I greeted him the owner thought I was Greek also and started to speak to me in Greek, very nice people here
I love this place! They have most excellent sandwiches, and the chicken souvlaki is out of this world.
We've always gotten take out orders, as the kiddos can be unruly in a restaurant. Orders are typically ready in 10-15 minutes, and the service is always very polite (they remember us from previous visits).
Very good Greek food, which can be hit or miss.
Needing to eat something different (not burgers, not pizza, not Mexican), we saw this place on the way to Golden Gardens.
We've only ever ordered take-out, but the people are super nice. It's family own/operated/employed/etc. And you can tell they really enjoy their food and want to make sure that everyone else enjoys their food too!
Usually order lamb/pork/chicken kabobs or falafels in a combo that comes with yellow (saffron?) rice and your choice of potatoes (eh), french fries (eh), caesar salad (we're getting warmer), or greek salad (ding ding ding!).
We will order 2 of these combos so the meal can be rather pricey (over $30), but you can finish most if you are super super hungry or else split it into two meals.
Otherwise, we also buy the typical, lemon, rice, chicken soup thing which we call "smile" soup because it just makes us so dang happy when we eat it. We bought their baklavah once before, when they told us it was a really good batch/great recipe/etc. It was just okay and the piece was the size of those paper footballs you make when you play desktop football in school? Yah, not too big despite a several layers of gooey sweetness, and for the $3 price tag..I'll pass. They have other treats in their glass case though, so you have more options for dessert.
They have live music Saturdays, we haven't been able to go, but hope to!
Hands down one of the most memorable nights in recent years.
A visit to Taki's is worth it just for his Bouzouki (Greek Guitar) skills! Consider yourself lucky to arrive on a rainy Saturday for this treat--then be prepared to sit and sit and sit for hours feasting and really being part of a PARTY!
Order up the Saganaki (flaming cheese--not gay--but seriously... lit on fire). I have had this appetizer all over the country and Taki does it best.
Then get down with their basic Mad Greek Special -- a huge skewer each of three various seasoned meats (I chose two chicken and one steak). Sounds basic? Bullshit. Taki & Company season this meat to perfection--you will dream about this plate in a year from consumption--like I am doing right now.
Belly Dancing. Hopefully you get to see the beautiful Lisa Yasmeen perform. Amazing talent. The entire restaurant gets going and you lose track of time...........like Marty McFly in the Twin Pines Mall Parking Lot.

Efharisto! Amazing service and authentic Greek culinary magic.
The lamb was cooked perfectly to order & the calamari were divine. They spotted my Greek blood immediately, and we shared our favorite spots around Kerkyra (Corfu), my "old country".
Kiki & Taki were wonderful to meet. Whether you've ever been to Greece, or just love flavors of the Mediterranean, make sure not to miss Taki's. It has humble decor, but is rich with true Greek cooking and culture.
Weird vibe, but it's worth it for the food. Expect the cold shoulder on saturday afternoon and evening, when the entire restaurant is reserved for music and belly-dancing. I've had chicken souvlaki and it totally rocks the house down, the cook gets it all flaky and light like halibut somehow. And everything is cheap for what you get - my huge, gorgeous dinner was 12.50, and a big fat gyro was 6 bucks. The rice pudding, however, was undercooked, and I can't write that off.
Love, love, love this place. I'm a vegetarian and Greek food is so right up my alley, as are most Mediterranean restaurants. The veggie platter is resonable priced, and comes with tons of variety. Delicious spanikopita, perfect lemon potatoes, tasty dolmas, awesome greek salad, and perfect pita and hummus. All on one plate for like 11 bucks. It was so good I ate the entire plate and felt sick for a few hours (because of my level of fullness, not because of the food), so this could easily be made into two meals. But it was just soooo tasty!!! My new favorite place... not to mention the kind, hard working family that owns and operates the place. They obviously take pride in their food and Greek culture, and their family photos on the wall give you a glimpse into their past and present. Plus, all the music you hear has been recorded by Taki himself! He's was a famous musician in Greece!
Food is really tasty but so salty I can still feel it the next morning.
Really slow service and a rather cramped, uncomfortable dining experience. Not crazy about the matron of this establishment. That being said, for almost a decade we've dealt with it because we enjoy their food.
However, during some normal chitty-chat while waiting for my order I made the mistake of mentioning that I have Turkish in-laws (my spouse's sister's husband's family...can it get more removed than that?). I was shocked when Kiki turned on me and gave me the whole, "Your people killed my people" speech and instantly became icy, almost hostile. This incident was the final straw in a long line of poor experiences with her. She doesn't understand that there is a difference between expressing cultural pride and being rude.
I no longer patronize this establishment because I just got tired of the attitude. I was a good customer for almost a decade.
I've been frequenting King Falafel Grill on Greenwood for the past few months as a FABULOUS alternative. Super food, easy parking, cheaper prices, better salads, less salt and definitely less attitude. :-)
This is a solid Greek restaurant. I love the atmosphere more than the food though. Taki's is worth it just for the live Bouzouki (Greek Guitar) music. It's the only place I have found in Seattle that has live music. This alone makes the trip worth it. Also, they get everyone in the restaurant to get up and dance. The owners are also very nice. I have tried many Greek restaurants in Seattle and this is definitely towards the top of the OK-Good list.
Delicious, but by far the craziest service I've experienced in Seattle. If you go in with this knowledge, it promises to be a tasting and entertaining experience for you. Their baklava is a must!
Great felafel, get it to go. Also good beans (gigantes somethinges) but I think they make it from a can. Yes, the wait stinks. Order it and head up there 10 minutes later.
Yes, you will feel felafully full for the next 24 hours. A great dinner for Saturday night, cos you weren't going anywhere on Sunday.
I always ate here when I worked at pizza hut next door a long time ago.
The food is always great. The owner's wife is so friendly. She always remembered me when I came in frequently, and sometimes would give me a complimentary baklava and talk with me. When I came in with friends, I was always encouraged to sit down and have water or coffee while we waited for our food. I love the gyros and the falafel sandwich. Everything is always fresh and full of flavor.
Maybe I went in with the wrong expectations of this place, but I went to dinner here on a Friday night and was completely underwhelmed. It wasn't at all busy, but it took at least 10 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted something to drink. We ordered a bottle of wine, and it took another 15 minutes for them to bring it. I was annoyed (and thirsty), but figured the Greek feast I was about to inhale would more than make up for it.
It didn't.
Standard lunch fare (that's where my expectations were off) that would satisfy if you happened to work next door but definitely not destination food. The chicken was spiced well but was on the dry side. My salad was average, and my friend had nothing to say about his falafel.
All in all, no atmosphere, non-existent service, and good-enough-for-lunch chicken.
I had SO MUCH FUN at dinner here just this last Saturday. Completely unexpected, and absolutely priceless!
I had been here once for lunch and was unimpressed, as a die hard Mr. Gyro's fan. At any rate, dinner was a completely different Souvlaki, let me tell you. If you are looking for a completely authentic Greek experience, go here on a Saturday night. You might need reservations, and know that the tables are stacked so close that you will be able to determine your neighbors choice of laundry detergent. But you will have a great time if you are down for a little slice of Greek.
Mind you, this place is far from swank - but it is everything you want in a classic neighborhood restaurant. A glass of wine... Greek musicians playing in the back... and you've got instant ambiance! I actually imagined myself in Greece. There happened to be a patron (the night we visited) that is a famous singer in Greece - he got up and sang for most of the evening! There was a group of Italian girls sitting in the back that got up and danced. There was another group of older folks that got up and danced... all of it made me a little emotional, thinking about the homogenization of Ballard and how these folks, this type of atmosphere will disappear. Oh, and did I mention the beautiful belly-dancer? It was quite a sight to see the range of folks carefully inserting dollars into the band of her skirt...
Oh and did I mention they kept my wine glass full to the tippy top? Oh yes!! I was in heaven and I haven't even mentioned the fact that our food took forever but was SOOOO WORTH IT.
I have never tasted such delicious chicken and beef souvlaki. It was tender, melted in your mouth... and very, very flavorful. It was enough food so that there were lots of divine leftovers duly consumed in the following days... and I typically abhor leftovers with a puzzling vengeance.
Here's to keeping it real. Don't come here if you are sensitive or prone to be a diva of the male or female variety. Do come if you want awesome food and to absorb a little European culture and can wait a few minutes with a glass (or two!) of wine while you enjoy the music...
4 1/2
Taki is the real deal. The gyro is the best I've had outside of Berlin and the homemade baklava is to die for...die, die now! Note to self: don't die.
Anyway, the atmosphere is kinda funky inside, but I really don't mind...I just wanted some lunch. The waitress was really kind and swift on the water- which is a good thing when eating greek food. The hummus and zatziki sauce were wonderful and the feta? fetgettaboutit...especially a nice touch on my fries...yum.
I finally got to try one of my "Yelp Bookmarks!"
I met a friend for lunch today at this very small, but charming restaurant.
If you blink you may just drive right past it!
I ordered a glass of the sweeter Greek white wine, and while I waited for my friend the chef made me a little feta in phyllo dough and told me that it would pair very nicely with my wine!
How very sweet!
We had the tzatziki and pita for our appetizer, and I ordered the Gyro salad, and he had the Lamb Souvlaki Sandwich.
I thought the food was great, the service - superb!
I'd like to go back again in the evening for the Belly dancers!
My "favorite" Greek food is still Santorini in Kirkland, but Taki's is a close second!
The food at Taki's mad greek is fresh and outrageously delicous!
It's a good place to stop for a gratifying, healthy lunch.
The lunch special is cheap and really tasty. It's a good bargain because you are getting incredible food in a nice, family-run restaurant.
I love the atmosphere because the walls are covered with family photos and colorful murals of Greece. It feels very amicable and fun.
It's like eating a carefully prepared Greek meal at your good friend's house.
It's not pretentious, flashy or fussy. It's simply quality food served by good people.
Taki and his wife Kiki are welcoming and very friendly. It's very rare for the owner of a restaurant to converse with the customers. However, I've had both Taki and Kiki make friendly conversation with me. Not only is Taki an excellent cook, but he is also an amazing musician.
They have live entertainment (Taki on the Bouzouki and Baglama and the Mad Greeks and Belly Dancing) on Saturdays, which you must have a reservation for because this place fills up quickly! I'm happy I discovered this place and I will keep going back.
I often stop in for lunch after shopping at Value Village. They are located next door to a Scandanavian bakery and The Tweetery's new location.
This is another diamond in the rough. I highly suggest this restaurant!

Been frequenting this place for 5 years and will continue to do so. Even if their food somehow magically became less than edible, I would come by to hang out with the owner and his wife. I'll never forget the time he showed me a picture of himself in a Speedo in the 60s. Never been able to look at him the same way again. I was sad to discover his sons were spoken for 'cause I was ready to be a part of their wonderful family. Love this place, love the food (zippy falafel, YES!) love to eat here whenever I crave some yummy Greek food.
FYI: the food does take awhile to get to you because IT IS MADE FRESH. If you complain about it, the deliciousness is too good for your impatient taste buds.
Just went to Taki's tonight and it was delicious. He is a freakin' master on the grill. His lamb is the best I've had and being Greek, I've had a lot in my time. Him and his wife Kiki run the place and are very sweet.
She takes care of the front of the house while he expertly handles the back. Taki is also a world class bouzouki player and they have Greek music there on Saturday nights. It's a great neighborhood joint and every time I go, I decide that I need to visit it more.
I have tried this place a few times now, the food is pretty good, but the service leaves a bit to be desired...(don't expect your take-out to be ready in less than 20 minutes, depending on your order)
There is one individual who works there that isn't always that easy to deal with...If you have been there before, you probably know who I am talking about...a serious "low talker" I really never know what she is saying to me. I just reply "yes" to whatever she is mumbling about...
BUT, she means well, the food is good, and I like the old photos of Taki; turns out he was a pretty well known musician back in the day.
We've followed this family around for years, they use to own a pizza joint and a fish and chip place all in and around the Ballard area. Now they've settled down in Greenwood/Crown Hill on 15th NW with what they do best, Greek!
Kiki hosts while Taki cooks and belts out a few good tunes on Saturday nights, reservations only, on the Bouzouki and Baglama. When he's not playing a tune he's firing up some of the finest Greek specialties around Greenwood and beyond! My fav is the falafel platter, huge balls of falafel fried until golden brown and served up with some very tasty tahini sauce. I usually ask for the Greek salad over the usual dinner salad, but that's just me, both are done up fresh and are served with their own house vinaigrette or better yet try the home made blue cheese dressing! We usually start with the Baba Ghannouj(a roasted and smoked egg plant puree) or Hummus(the garbanzo bean and tahini puree), both are outstanding and we always order plenty of pita bread to go around.
My wife enjoys the chicken souvlaki and I like the lamb(another fav), both are mouth watering and served in plentiful portions. The gyros are packed and often bursting at the seems, a nice balance of veggies with your choice of meat, beef or lamb, my Dad likes both and finds the meat tender and tasty. I should mention Taki's tzatziki(a yogurt, cucumber, fresh garlic sauce) is some of the best around town bar none!!
They recently upgraded their menu and the size of the dining area of the restaurant, so I can't comment on the "new" pasta section of the menu...(UPDATED, 3/19/07) So Starch-boy and Veggie girl, our oldest daughter, had two of the pasta selections last night. Both were served with a nice size salad, and garlic bread, the portions were HUGE! The kids will be eating off of the leftovers for a week or two. The flavors were solid and tasty.
The red-sauce and meatballs have been taken off the menu along with the hamburgers, since they use only choice cuts of meat to grind up and no one was ordering these two items they recently took them off the menu.
For an added treat try the daily specials, I had the pork chops last night, two nice sized chops were served, I took one home, nicely grilled and tender. (end of update.)
Five stars for family-friendly service, once you get the know them, their skill of making you feel at home and welcome in their restaurant is another nice touch, the pita and calamari, nice portion of flavorful lightly breaded goodness, kick up to the high ranking.
It pains me to give this place three stars. The food is always great. The sense of community is overwhelming. The people are nice. The problem? It's so slow it's friggin' painful. If you take kids bring toys...books...or your walking shoes. If you're hungry you'd better order a salad to take the edge off in the meantime (make sure you ask them to bring it before the meal).
Great grilled meats. Nice pastries. Too slow.
I have nothing but good things to say about this resturant. It has a homey feel to it and the prices are very reasonable. They are friendly to everyone from first timers to regulars (I count myself one). I work near by so it is a take out favorite of mine.
Greek has always been one of my favorite foods. I am addicted to the lamb souvlakis here. They are grilled to perfection and full of fresh flavorful seasoning. Everything else is just as good. I have tried most of the menu items and have not once been displeased.
I once told a coworker I fantasized about marrying one of the owners sons just so I could eat this food on a regular basis. Now that is a stamp of approval. Food so good it warms the heart.
The gentleman who runs it is a famous Greek musician. He is so well known that when I mentioned his name to Grandparents they remembered the name. If that was not enough even my friend in New Orleans remembers talking him up in a bar down there. Small world. Well Besides the back story the food was amazing. Marinated souvlaki done to perfection I had beef pork and lamb and all were perfect. The meal was so fresh and succulent nothing done poorly. I notice some negatives about the waitress/Taki's wife and they are unfounded. She was an absolutely amazing person willing to tell the whole story and all the events. If you do not like owners with passion I recommend somewhere else. If you want a story, and a proud one at that, then start it up and you will be surprised and honored to have eaten there. Oh and a last note besides the great freshness of the in house meal. The meal also reheats amazingly as well.
I just went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken souvlaki was amazingly flavorful and the portion was generous. My boyfriend ordered the lemonato and said the pork chops were excellent. The best part is that you get huge portions, and they don't skimp on the meat, for great prices ($14.50 for two large pork chops, a salad, pita, tzatziki and potatoes)!
Many people complain about the slow service, and I agree with them, however it's a Greek restaurant slow service is the norm.
My boyfriend and I are big fans of Georgias Greek on 85th and 3rd ave nw, which is also in our neighborhood. But we decided to give Taki's a try. Glad we did--they have great food. I would put it in the same quality range as Georgia's. Georgia's has a more extensive and diverse menu, with more seafood options though. But Taki's has HUGE portions for the price. Entrees are 12.50-16.00. The calamari appetizer would easily feed 4 people and is nicely breaded. Both me and my boyfriend had to take half our entrees home....bonus dinner for tonight too! The service was very nice. The server even gave us extra to-go sauce for the leftover calamari to take with us. The baklava was good, but a little drippy, a little too much honey in it. Homemade though.
The food was good! Everything on my plate from the salad, the roasted potatoes, to the chicken schwarma thing was perfect. The waitress came by relatively soon to take orders but the food did take a while. Decent beer and wine selection so that made the wait bearable. I'd have given this restaurant 5 stars but both times I've tried to go back they were closed; once for a holiday and once because it was Sunday. Where do people eat on Sundays???
I just had take out of Taki's recently and was extremely impressed! For starters, I paid just under $5 for a Lamb Gyro, and man was it delicious! I definitely need to go back and try other items on their menu although I really am a huge fan of Lamb Gyros, the tsaziki sauce on the gyro was incredible as well. The only down fall on this place was that I went in to place my order, at about 20 after 12, and I didn't recieve my food until 12:45, my taste buds and tummy got a little impatient, but I guess it's true what they say, good things happen to people who wait, which I did and it was definitely worth the wait!
I am still on a quest for the perfect Gyro - and we drove by Taki's...so we parked and went in for lunch. The decor is charming, the service friendly and prompt. We ordered Pita and Humus as an appetizer while we waited for our Gyro's My wife ordered the chicken and I ordered the usual. We waited for a little while as the food was prepared and enjoyed the Humus with fresh and warmed Pita bread - delish...the Gyro's approached perfect. Both of us felt that the meal truly hit the spot. So far my favorite Gyro. Five stars. we ended the meal with a Baklava, a little syrupy for my taste, but still good. I'll be back when I am over there again.
The food here is delish! The gyro plate is my favorite. I usually pick up some pita bread and stuff like that when I am here too. BUT*** I have to agree with Alexi M regarding the "Mrs Negative" that works here. I am relieved when I go in and she is not there honestly! The daytime waitress is a doll. I was there this past Sat evening and you could cut the tension with a dull knife! It was bad. I couldnt beleive what "Mrs Negative" said to me about the other waitress. She called her a bitch and said everything that was going wrong was her fault!! She walked around muttering negatives to herself about the other help to. When we finally got our food, and I do say finally, it was awesome as always. But the service of the wife left a horrible taste in my mouth. I felt compelled to share this. Maybe Taki will get a clue and keep her out of the resturant
Great gyros and souvlaki at Taki's, especially the lamb souvlaki. The Greek salad is good, and I like the potatoes, but can't tell if they're completely over-salted or have just been prepared with a spice that gives the impression of too much salt. If you call in an order, be prepared to wait MUCH longer than you're told. Not quite sure what's with the attitude of the owner's wife. I mentioned to her that my favorite brother-in-law is Greek American and she, for some unexplained reason, took on a very negative tone, and informed me that the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was not at all indicative of real Greeks and that my b-in-law must not be from around here and he certainly couldn't be "pure" Greek? Huh???!!! Not quite sure where any of this came from after stating only that my relative was Greek. That said, the food really is yummy. I'd just recommend having limited conversations with this woman as something's not quite right upstairs.
I took the family here one evening to try something new. We intended on sitting down but after a 10 minute wait with no menu we decided it best to get it to go. My daughter was starting to get fuzzy. So we get our order in and the waitress mentions nothing about a long wait or anything. 10 minutes turn into 20 which turn into 30 and by now I want to leave but I have so much vested in the food already what if I leave then they call my name right after. So we keep waiting my wife and I taking turns entertaining our toddler in the car. 45 minutes goes buy and there are people who arrived just before us that hadn't gotten their food. The place it full of people waiting. After 1 hour we get our order with a "Sorry for the wait" It was busy and they don't have a huge kitchen so I can understand but they should have at least said "there is going to be a huge wait to get your food. They didn't mention this to the dozen or so people that came in while we were waiting either.
The food was really good but they could have served me cardboard with feta on it and I would have thought it the best meal on earth, I was that hungry.
So if you eat here call ahead and ask how long the wait is and place your order ahead of time. Or do what others have said and make a reservation during the time when they have music and stuff. Because sitting there starving with a bunch of other people while one dish comes out at a time is really like some sort of cruel torture.
OK after researching many Greek restaurants I decided to try this one. The reviews were on target. We started the Saganki and Hummus both were excellent but for the price there could have been a little more hummus and at least one more pita. OK now for the main meals. We ordered the Gyro, Avgolemono Soup, Chicken Souvlaki and Lamb Souvlaki. Each was excellent and there was more than enough food on the plate. The only draw back is that the they used dill a little to much, but this was the only con I came across. The service was good but we did go during the off peak time so it may or may not be the same during rush hour. They were very pleasant and check on our status with out overdoing it. I would recommend it to my friends and take any out of town guest there. I plan to go back on a Saturday night to see how it is with the live music.
I heart Taki's. The whole family & staff are way friendly but never oversolicitous. I've found that even when they are packed, packed, packed, they try to take care of me asap. Ok, service rocks- on to the food!
The chicken souvlaki is absolutely to die for. It is always lemony and moist and perfectly seasoned. You can get it with rice or potatoes; I like me some rice, but after trying the thick wedges of lemony, melt-in-my-mouth potatoes, I can't bring myself to try the rice. I just can't. Their Greek salads are amazing. Big chunks of cucumber and tomato and they are generous with the feta and olives, and large enough to eat as a meal. Spanakopita and other appetizers are delish. The yummiest tzatziki sauce- I could drink it from a juice cup. I won't but I could. And the baklava is killer. I love everything about this place. Really surprised there are Taki's haters on here. Try it again, you'll like it!
I hate this place! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The first time we tried this place the service wasn't that great and they messed up our order. The server never came over to check on us and overall, they just weren't friendly. Now, I'm all for giving places a second chance because we can all have bad days so, we went back again Saturday. One of the girls working there said we could have a seat anywhere so we sat down. A minute later the main lady that works there came over and told us we had to move because they were having a party and needed the table. We gladly moved. We were brought water and then... that was it. We waited and no one ever came back to help us or take our order and we ended up walking out. There were 3 girls working there and we were the only table!!! It took all 3 of them to arrange tables for the party and no one came to help us. First of all, it doesn't take 3 people for that job and second of all, they weren't busy since we were the only people there. We should have been helped immediately. I will not give this place a 3rd chance and would not recommend it to anyone.
