Good selection. Fresh. Good little family business that you should visit for a night away from Disney prices.
Fish was fresh. Place was clean. Yes its in a strip mall but isnt everything in Florida!? -

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! SHADY, SHADY BUSINESS!
Place was dirty. Service was abysmal (and we were the only ones in there!) Hostess was a witch with a capital B. Food was overpriced and mediocre. They even tried to rip us off. They quickly backed off trying to force us to pay the extra gratuity when we threatened to call the cops.
STAY AWAY! DO NOT EAT HERE! -

Stopped here because kids were starving and we needed something fast. Place was desolate, and it's run by same people who run the Chinese restaurant next door. I started to worry that food doesn't turn over, not good for sushi. Also, chicken "yakitori" turned to be bits of unflavored thigh meat on skewers, deep-fried and swimming in dilute soy sauce and wilted lettuce. It seemed that the only sushi they could make was tempura shrimp with avocado and spicy sauce--the "Mexican Roll" and "Dragon Roll" turned out to be the same thing, perhaps because they couldn't keep a fresh tomato with no turnover! I'd skip this place, even in desperation.

What a gem! We found this place on our last visit to Disney when we were driving to the parks from our resort. It's located in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you!
The food and service here are wonderful. It is a small restaurant, very cozy. We ordered some rolls, the egg/onion fried rice and the chicken katsu. All of our dishes were fresh and very tasty. We definitely will come back here on our next trip to Orlando!! -

I really enjoyed my experience at Take!
We arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday, the place was empty. We promptly sat and were brought waters (that never got less than half fun- love that!)
We both ordered the Udon noodles with chicken. The sauce was perfect and the noodles were just right! I really enjoyed my dish. Next time I would order vegetarian, the chicken wasn't very lean. But it was still tasty!
I will certainly remember this Kissimmee gem! -

No sushi boat even though one is on display in the window.
No other customers in the restaurant on a Wed. evening except us.
Took like 10 minutes from the time we were seated to get water. That stuff should really come out immediately after you are seated.
Take Combo - $20 was an over-priced bento box with lunch sized portions. Complete let down.
Double Combo - $36 was much better with 10 piece sushi, 10 piece sashimi, 1 california roll, & 1 philadelphia roll. The california roll is what you'd expect, but I didn't much care for the philadelphia roll.
Chirashi - was okay. It was my first time having this.
Dragon roll - okay.
As we finished the food we realized we were still hungry and ordered another dish. Enter.....
Seafood Tempura Udon - $12 was actually really good, and the first time I've ever seen battered pieces of sashimi used for tempura. Most places usually use shrimp.
I can honestly say I've had better. -

This is a horrible place to eat sushi. The sushi chef is a young and not well trained. Publix's is better. I am a big fan of good sushi and this is not the one.

Food wasn't bad. However, this is the 1st restaurant that charged us gratuity for having a party of 5 people! Waitress knew we were just visiting and therefore we felt raped with the gratuity forced charged. Her service wasn't even good. She gave us a frown when we just ordered water instead of soda. She was trying to force us to order soda and we said no, then she walked away. Those previous rating stating that price is lower than others is NOT True! Animal Kingdom has a Japanese Restaurant inside the park and price is even less than what they are charging. Furthermore, we were NOT charged with forced gratuity! I don't like restaurants that forces you to pay gratuity even if their service is poor! No wonder we were the only customer there on a Saturday night! (8PM). I would try elsewhere next time we're in town. Summary: food not bad but service sucks especially if your the only customer in the room that evening!

A small but clean & neat place. Very good food, and yet the price is cheap compared to a typical Japanese restaurant. Highly recommend.

I found this little restaurant during my five day vacation in Orlando! I was impress. The fish was fresh, people were nice, price is reasonable, and sauces was better than a lot of Japanese restaurant I went. I went to Seito in Celebration a day before, with the fancy deco, the food was bad. Well, I have great experience in Take' Japanese, enjoy it! will definitely go back again!! I wish I have this restaurant in my hometown (New York). Give it a try, you won't regret it!!
