I love love love this place for their groceries and chaat.Just wish the staff was friendlier and they made good Pao Bhaji. It's a pity that a place with such amazing Puchhkas and Vada Paos can churn out such poor Pao Bhaji. That's why I hold back one star.

Taj Mahal imports is the best known indian grocery store in the DFW metro area. Visit the chaat stand the next time you are there. For the unititiated, "chaat" is yummy indian street food. Try the pani puri, bhel puri, aloo tiki and dai sev puri they make here. It is pretty darned good and can be custyomized to suit your spice/heat preferance.
They also have fresh sugarcane juive available at their chaate stand. For those who have never had fresh sugarcane juice with ginger and lemon...what can I say...you are missing on one of the bestest creations ever and it just so happens to be my favourite drink.
Avoid the parathas they serve at the stand...they are soaked in oil and do not look appetizing at all.
The grocery store itself is mostly over-priced. Go over the bill thoroughly as items could be charged twice.
