Review from Jesse L.
Lambertville, NJ
I have driven across the country twice, and the first time camped outside Brandon, SD and asked the attendant at the camp site for a recommendation for dinner. She recommended Tailgators and I had a great time.
I was looking for a place where I could sit at the bar and talk to the bar tender and some locals or other people passing through and was pleased I was able to! In addition, prices were great coming from the New York Metro area, and everything was quick and tasty. I had such an enjoyable time that on my second cross country journey I knew I had to stay in the general area one night on the drive out to Yellowstone, that I planned to stay at the same camp site to go to Tailgators again. Like the first time, I had a great time and met some great people. It seems to be a place where a lot of people go as they pass through the area off I-90, so if you are interested in good food, good prices and meeting good people, I recommend a stop here if you are looking for some food on a trip along 90. -

Pretty Good. I don't mean to sound like a total dick here, but "pretty good" earns a full five stars when you're driving through a void of civilization such as... well, the whole middle of the US I guess. Yes, I know I'm an asshole for saying it, but there it is. If you don't agree, why don't you drive out to Brandon, SD and take a look around. Then we'll see what's what!
I had a large prime rib dinner that was served rare enough, which is hard to find sometimes. I washed it down with a 25 ounce Sam Adams that cost me $3.50. Yeah, now you understand the five stars. -

This is a nice sports bar/restaurant. Met at door by friendly staff, waiter was very cheerful and friendly. Fried Dill pickle slices, cup of soup, then the Black and Blue Prime Rib. Husband had NY Strip and very satisfied. Dinners were roughly $15 each

Berry Salad was just ok. Service was poor. The bartender was a little rude and kept washing dishes 6 inchs in front of were my dinner was.
