Neighborhood: GreenwoodTaco Bell.
Taco Hell.
Toxic Bell.
Taco Smell.
You can call it anything you want, but Mexican Food.
Guilty! My guilty pleasure. I'm sucha critique of Mexican food, but I love this place. Nachos Bell grande no meat, bean burrito, cheese quesadilla and sierra mist and I'm game.
This particular location is not far from home and I can take all the back streets, so quicker than hitting all the red lights going up Lake City Way.
The only authentic experience here is the Mexican lady with the thick accent over the nearly inaudible drive thru speaker. Have patience...'cause, well, you know. You don't want that extra special sauce for being an ass.
My order is always right, and I nearly ever have a problem getting my order across. Good joint for vegetarians.
Yay! for dehydrated processed Mexican fast food!!!

I love Taco Bell for its wonderfully cheap and filling mock-Tex/Mex food and especially for its deliciously addictive Fire Sauce. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this location very highly, as they have been unapologetically out of Fire Sauce several of the past few times I have been there. Without Fire Sauce, the food tastes much more like the recycled cardboard and playdoh it's undoubtedly made from. It's a real shame too, since this is the first time I've ever lived within easy walking distance to the Bell. [sniffle]

I've eaten Taco bell from sea to shining sea. Sometimes you've got to make a run for the border, and hopefully not come back with the runs eh? This particular Aurora locale is close to my 'hood homeboys and homegirls...the one I turn to when I'm in need. There's mucho vegetarian options at the Bell. Cheesy Gordita Crunch beans instead meat? Mexican Pizza with beans instead of meat? Lately I just like the el cheapo bean burritos with a handful of fire sauce. How they've paired it up with Pizza Hut is inspired at times too my brothers and sisters. Bread sticks with pizza sauce combo with a diet Pepsi? F**k yeah. I believe that Taco Bell has single-handedly helped feed the poor more than any other organization. I mean, you can PILE it on there on the cheap.
Also, this particular location has LOTS of parking lot entertainment. Like the last time I went there, there was like these amateur gangsta fellas in the parking lot yelling and messin' about. It was just like Boyz N The Hood. LOVED IT. Lots of felony cruisers rolling down Aurora. I love this shit. This is real dinner theater. I fucking love Aurora. I'm not even being ironic or whatever you young folks call it. Just get your food to go and then park and let the visuals happen, IT'S ALL GOOD.
UPDATE: I had to knock a couple of stars off. I went there tonight and it was like it was being run by Juvenile Detention. Hello register girl...maybe a hello or thanks? The food was horrible too. Stale. It was a bit like a drunk tank in there too. I'm no longer amused.

I will always love taco bell. There are vegeterian options. It is fast and cheap. I am mad they got rid of mexi nuggets, the replacements are GROSS orange potatoes. I am in love with the 7 layer burrito. I am glad I do not live close to a taco bell or I would be there at least once a week twice with my beer.

Man, do I really need to tell you about Taco Hell? The food is nothing near authentic, but it has it's own kind of fantastic following. It has it's own genre in my book. Nothing here is real, probably not even the lettuce. But it's good. Deal.

So, it's Sunday morning, you are hungover and can still taste the gin and smell the smoke in your hair. The time for TACO BELL is appropriate. If there is no Pho near you (the ultimate hangover cure) I suggest you hop on 99 and head for the border. It's fast, there are vegetables involved, and there is even that fake nacho cheese that for some reason should be outlawed, but is ultimately TO DIE FOR. Let me suggest a 7-layer burrito for your hangover, and some fiesta potatoes for when you are feeling a little bit better.
