I can get over the fact that this is a Taco Bell "Express" meaning they have half a menu, which does NOT include the most delicious Taco Bell item ever, the chalupa (are you serious?).

What I can't get over is how obnoxious the two women working here were.

There were three of us, all of whom ordered a meal with a drink. Something was off with the fountain soda machine which was causing it to produce the most disgusting soda ever. Not like when one kind of soda has run out of syrup and it's only spitting out carbonated water. But like when something makes every single kind of soda taste horrible (we tried them all). When I told the women working that something was up, they totally gave us the 'tude. The first woman said, "sorry, that's all we have." And then after I complained some more the other woman said, "oh, ok, I'll fix something." And she proceeded to not do anything.

Ridiculous! I hate you Taco Bell of Kings Beach.

My wife & I were going to France in late September / early October. It was a chance to visit her parents in Orleans and also tour the Burgundy wine country. We were going to meet some of the producers through my wife's network. I wanted to use the opportunity to learn about environmental sustainability as it relates to wine making and stewardship for the land. I wanted to find out from my network what the best practices out there are for either reducing carbon footprint or using least damaging methods. I planned on sharing what I found out on my blog and wanted to bring back some highlights from the trip.  Instead, I told the two-timing bitch to eat dirt.
This was the best Taco Bell dinner I have ever had.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!

Taco Bell is so nasty.  I know an ex-owner of several Wendy's franchises who told me that Taco Bell would come by every so often and pick up all the meat that had spoiled.  A few hours boiling in hydrogenated repeatedly re-used oils, application of synthetic flavorings and who knows what else apparently makes it edible.

Eating at Taco Bell = Barfing later.

I actually like taco bell. but this was very disappointing. They were missing half of the regular menu and it seemed to take forever to get the orders ready. There was a HUGE crowd of folks waiting for their food. The chips and taco shells were stale and all of my friends and I felt so sick afterwards. Doesn't the Taco Police regulate on franchises like this?

I can't believe there's a Taco Bell in town, less than a block from two decent Mexican restaurants.  Come on, Ski America.  I know all about the comfort of the familiar, but the only thing you know about Taco Bell is that it's going to be bad.

Do I have to actually eat a taco here to prove how bad it is?  Okay, I know, reviewer ethics.  I'll suck up and eat a taco for the team.

One saving grace is that the local KFC franchise is a separate building a couple blocks away.  Thank god because when KFC and Taco Bell get together they start to breed.
