Really enjoyed my stay last weekend at T'frere's House!  We had the Louisiana room - spacious enough, comfortable bed, garden views, private bath, spotlessly clean - but got glimpses of the other rooms as well.  "Cozy" and "quaint" and "southern gothic" come to mind when revisiting my stay.  

Louisiana is not optimal territory for my eating habits, and T'frere's did forget that we had requested vegetarian meals for our (included) breakfast.  The T'Juleps that greeted us upon arrival contained artificial sweetener (I'm picky, ok?  We know that.).  But it's Louisiana, and I'm used to having to bring a stash of snacks in the car...organic and vegetarian are not common currency here.  Just keep in mind that velveeta and crystal light might well be on the menu at any gourmet restaurant in this town.

The owners were out of town, but Jason couldn't have been nicer!  He gave us great recommendations on uncommon attractions in the area and really made us feel welcome.   I would recommend this b&b to anyone who can stomach a night in any non-Ritz establishment - it's charming and endearing and perfect and, hey, there are cats in the garden.
