Anytime, I'm craving the beach or sun, or the kids are whining out of boredom, or we just wanna get out of the house, we go down to Sylvan Beach. It's simply great. Nice beach area, huge playground for kiddos, clean benches and pavilions to enjoy a lunch or just the breeze.
The 51st Annual Sylvan Beach Festival and Crawfish Jam is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the historic Sylvan Beach Park on lovely Galveston Bay.
Admission is $5 from 9:00am-5:00pm and $10 after 5:00pm, $2 for senior citizens, and free for children 10 and under accompanied by an adult.
