This is a really great place to have some fun!!! It's totally worth it to get the membership. For $30, you get a helmet liner, a free race, a free birthday race. (Good for within a week before/after your birthday) On week nights, they have buy three race for $30 and get one race free deal. Renewing membership is only $10. You still get your free race and birthday race each year. Getting the membership also allows you to be able to qualify for the 9HP faster karts. It has to be five different sessions under a certain time based on your weight.

The staff are very helpful. They are very nice for the most part. Sometimes, just sometimes, if there are people out there driving crazy, bumping others, some staff might get a little short tempered. I don't blame them, because those type of driving might cause accidents or breaking the karts. If you watch for the flags, don't dive bomb other people at turns, go out for a clean race and do clean passes, let faster kart pass if you know they are faster than you. There's no reason for staff to yell at you.

PS. If a faster kart passes you, follow him/her. Study their lines. What are they doing that is different than what you are doing? Think about it and adjust your driving. You will be a lot faster in no time!

the track is really challenging and they do change the courses on regular basis (not that frequent but maybe every couple of months?!) so it's not forever the same.

it's nice to have indoor for the rainy days in Oregon.  They have a pretty nice yearly membership deal.  It'll be worth it if you plan on going a lot.  My company actually has seasonal leagues so if you have a large group of friends, not a bad idea to start a league of your own :)  it's $30 for the first year and $10 for renewal. Each race is $10 or $15 (member/nonmember)

You get 6hp kart usually and only can drive 9 hp if you qualify 5 rounds under the given time (depending on your weight) and of course gotta be a member.

I want to give it 4 stars because it is fun and overall nice setup.  but i didn't have that good of expereince with the staff.  one of the guys must been having a bad day or something and yelled at our group.

another downside is the fume.  they need better ventilation since it's indoor.  I see they do have windows open but the smell of gas fume and burning rubbers is still pretty strong there.

A lot of fun. The current track has a lot of turns and is fun. It is a challenging track.

They are a little strict on bumping but that is because they are watching out for your safety.

They recently got new helmets so that is a good thing.  I just bought one myself because I rather not use one that has been used by other people.  They do offer a "head sock" or whatever it is called.  It is basically like a thin ski mask.  I would recommend that if you use the supplied helmets.

Don't forget shoes, it is a safety issue.

They do offer jr races for people without driver's licenses.  They do have kids karts.  Jr races are run at half speed at first.  A friend took his kid and he really liked it.  The minimum age is 8.

An indoor racetrack, with fast little cars that'll actually bruise you up if you crash. At Sykart, you'll find go-karts not of the bumper car variety, but of the mini-racecar breed.

I brought my family - ages 12, 14, 20, 21, 24, 40 and 48 - here in late December as a Christmas present. And everyone honestly had a blast. Because we had a big group and it wasn't too busy, we took to the track for our own private race each time.

The guy who helped us on the track was so sweet, but the one working the front desk was rude. Although he was justified in treating us like idiots after my dad chose the race name "Fuzzy Bawlz," he was condescending long before that stupid move.

Two or three rounds is really all amateurs like us can handle. Like they told us, it's a much more physical activity than you would expect. The younger kids were sore the next day.

One race: $15 for non-members and $10 for members. Expect to spend about $30 per person (there're no hidden fees).

Because we had a few non-licensed drivers, they started us at half speed for the first couple laps of the first race. So it's not much of a hassle at all to bring the kiddies.

This is my favorite place to burn extra cash! I live on the adrenaline rush and excitement that comes from racing. The staff is helpful on driving tactics, they have really helped improve my times. Even my girlfriend had fun driving the 6hp even though it got the best of her lol. Recommend it to any man who needs a hiding place, or great for any event.  Buy a membership it is so worth it!

When the office-mates decided to take a company trip to the go kart track, I'll admit, I wasn't excited.  I practically had to be forced into my sexy helmet liner and helmet and then shoved out onto the track.  I also bumped into every single corner the first go around the track.

However, my small reserve of testosterone soon kicked in and I'll admit, these were the most funnest go karts i've ever been forced to drive around in.
SyKart has 30-35 mph cars for the regular drivers license holding crowd and some sort of "supa fast" car for the cool kids (i think you have to do an "advanced driving" school.)

The staff were all great, and most accommodating of our crazy crowd, several of us have already been back.
