I always felt like getting behind the wheel of our tiny Corolla was like driving a go-kart. Until I drove a real go-kart and realized 78 on the highway doesn't come close to 25 on the track.

SAR has a night's worth of activities for every member of your family - even the littlest ones and the scardiest girlfriends. The go-kart track is fantastic. Once you realize you can't flip the suckers, it gets a lot better. The funniest thing is the cars are sponsored by local businesses! I wondered aloud if the #8 Pasta House car drove as bad as their food tasted.

The mini-golf is need of a rehab, but it's still entertaining. Bumper boats & batting cages add to the emptiness in your wallet. If you get bored of drinking yourself into a stupor or watching the latest disposable Hollywood drek, head down to Fenton for a few hours of real fun.

My company has been going to Swing-A-Round for years for our annual picnic. The kids love it! You can let them run around without worries. It is a clean, nicely landscaped fun park with lots to do. They have go karts, kiddie karts for the little guys, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages. It is small enough that it feels intimate and give you that old school picnic feeling, but big enough to spread out and everyone has a great time.

The staff and food are great! I look forward to the picnic every year.

This place is ideal for mini golf, and offers better prices than The Infield in Ellisville.  It also seems like a great place for a kid's birthday party, as it is expansive enough for everyone to run around and have a good time, but also contained by fences.  Indoors, they serve ice-cream and other treats, and even have an arcade and party rooms.  They also offer go-carts for adults and kids, batting cages, bumper boats, a kiddie train, and of course, mini golf.  Although their three 18-hole golf paths are in need of some repair and pizazz, they're still a lot of fun and I can almost pretend I'm on vacation here.  Ahhh, wouldn't that slice of luxury be nice!
