I just missed the days when people had compassion. I was 4 mins late outside their appointment window. 10 mins of that was due to the traffic on orangeburg road. I called and told them my situation but when I arrived 4 mins outside that window the only thing they could offer me was to reschedule the appointment. It was obvious I was the last appointment of the day so I wouldn't have delayed another persons appointment. So often they don't see those with appointments on time and I'm patient I don't complain but when I really needed them to see my son for his sick appointment they didn't come through. I get it I was late but sometimes things happen outside our circumstances and traffic on orangeburg road is unforgiving at times.

Only reason this gets one star is because we absolutely love Dr. Tripp. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't go here. The front desk ladies are beyond rude and no help what so ever. Your expected to figure out your own appointments on a website that doesn't work half the time. I just tried making a visit for my daughter since she will be having dental surgery next month (December) and needs a wellness check before... let's just say, the "scheduling " lady was beyond rude and told me to just figure it out. (Appointments are only for January 18th and after) obviously not helpful. I asked her to please connect me with someone who can help and all she says is no and to have a great day. I wish Dr Tripp would work out of a different office.

We moved to Summerville a year ago and my children have been going to this practice. I am currently looking for a new pediatrician. You cannot even call to schedule an appointment it's all online so anything urgent you're screwed because usually there is not an appointment the same day and if there is same day it's never in Summerville close to our house it's always a long drive . Also if you text a question for the doctor or nurse it takes all day if at all for them to get back to you which is stressful when your child is sick . I would not recommend this practice which is sad because the providers are really good I believe it has to be the staff and maybe too many patients they can't handle the load please Keep your sanity and don't waste your time .

They are not punctual in any way shape or form! I had an appointment and didn't even get seen by the time I left an hour later. The purpose of an appointment, in my humble opinion, is lost to them!!! Do NOT go here if you schedule less than two hours time off from work or schedule all day off for a thirty minute appointment....likelihood is you won't get seen and they'll still get your money.

Summerville locations and North Charleston. This place literally only cares about making money. Not the patients, their health or the parents and their sanity. My husband and I got concerned because my son sounded a little wheezy today and he's had a snotty nose. HE IS LITERALLY A WEEK OLD. I called them at 3:30 to see if this was normal. They sent me to a voicemail instead of having a nurse or receptionist speak with me. Then, they sent me a text saying they received my voicemail and someone would be back shortly. At 5, I finally got a text saying if he was wheezy I needed to call and try to get an appointment with them. So, I called and they tell me they don't have time to see my newborn. So, we ended up at the emergency room with newborn to make sure everything was okay. Luckily, he is fine but what if he hadn't been?? You're a doctor's office. Your job is to make time for your patients. Everyone swears this is what socialized medicine is like but we live in a capitalist economy and medicine is already like this??? I will not be returning after his "well check" tomorrow.

We were passed over several times in the last few visits, and today were passed over 5 times. Told we were waiting for a room, and then the very next baby walked right in and got one. We were on time, pre registered and only getting shots. The doctors are friendly but logistics are laughably bad. We got up to leave and receptionist said "what are those people waiting for". Those people are Nicky and his parents. And you have shown how important he is to your practice. Which is not very. This place is the McDonald's of health care. Just get em in and get em out.

Do not recommend, this provider is a quantity or quality clinic that treats parents poorly and never has time to see patients except for long planned well checks, even with an appointment you will wait minimum of 1 hour and be treated like you are the employees worst enemy. Find another provider who will care about your child and your time.

My children have been coming here for four years. For the most part the service is great. The doctors truly care and listen to my concerns. They can have days where they get slammed and you will be waiting for asshole, other days you walk right in. Thank appreciate when I ask or have a concern that it is addressed right away. They have online scheduling, which for me has been a Paine hen trying to schedule my children for appointments. Luckily, the reception staff is top notch and they have always been able to fix my schedule for three children to have back to back appointments.

I had a great experience at this office. We were seen right away with little to no wait (we checked in the night before online). I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was. Everything was clean and up to par. They have an awesome program where each child gets a free book at each visit which I think is wonderful! My only complaint would be the fact that availability is not so great. I had to make my son's 9 month check up almost a month after he turned 9 months which kind of sucks. I'm not sure why they have no immediate availability. It only concerns me if my child needed to be seen ASAP he wouldn't be able to. If they could somehow fix this issue I would say they deserve 5 stars!

We were seeing the office recently for routine appointments- vaccines, check ups, etc. we brought our son in with some concerning symptoms with his stomach, rash, and other related symptoms. Unfortunately, we came in often and the answers or lack of were "oh it's just a virus" or "give him Tylenol". After lack of said answers and no tests, bloodwork, we decided to go to another pediatrician unrelated to this practice. Unfortunately our son had a rather serious gastrointestinal infection that needed to be treated with antibiotics. He ordered tests that determined this almost immediately. I was extremely disappointed in the continuity of care and the fact that we have never seen the same doctor twice. We have seen 6 different doctors there. I will not be recommending this practice to anyone and frankly I will tell other parents to go elsewhere. Not impressed whatsoever.
