Love the Food. The staff is always helpful and polite, and Tina the Owner is really passionate about her eatery. She's great with her customers, and open to new ideas...

I highly recommend you try the Rice Bowl....

When I first started ordering from Sweet Tomaton they gave me a hard time because although their website had said delivery was a $10 min they insisted it was $15 & wouldnt deliver to our small office with a staff of 2 people. (They've since updated their website to reflect the $15 min.)

Well there food is quite tastey so I got over it. When I can get out for lunch I stop there on occasion to pick up my food. Today I had the squash & quinoa soup, which is vegan & gluten free...its delicious and just a tad spicy. They have a "pick 2" special with choices of 1 soup, side salad, half wrap...a great combination.

They offer a large number of wraps, salads & soups and have changing specials. Cute litle cafe inside. Definitely the best place around!

    Sandwiches / Wraps / Salads

In my ongoing health kick these days, I am trying to get away from anything resembling a drive through meal and focus more on healthier options.  Sweet Tomato is one of the places that is hard to find, but once you know the hiding spot, you will be rewarded with tasty and freshly made foods that are way better than standard deli fare and the obvious choice over fast food.

The offer a large selection of soups, salads wraps and panini's - but that being said, they have some large selection of these things- like 12 soups and a load of salads for instance as well as standard sandwiches and wraps and then there are also a bunch of blackboard specials as well - all to make it hard to choose as they are all yummy sounding selections!

Everything is made fresh so while you wait you can browse some local art from the high school or pick up some bagged chips etc to go with your meal.  They have delivery with a minimum order or call it in and pick it up.

Prices are decent - pretty much normal for the area.

    Parking in front.

"We prepare our food and serve it with love"

thats what the sign says and thats what you feel when you come to this cozy restaurant.

tina has done a great job finding the right staff because everyone there really love being there to serve delicious soups and sandwiches.  you can feel all the TLC that goes into the process down to the final taste.

i knew tina was a different restauranteur when she told me her favorite indian restaurant was rangmahal in hicksville.  you can choose from a couple dozen indian places but at rangmahal you can taste the love in the food.  tina has reproduced the same experience in glen cove (without the curry and tandoori).

my personal favorites are the tuscan bean escarole soup and the black bean soup.

only problem is it is hard to find this place as it is up on a hill and the parking lot is a pain in the neck.  still worth it though. GO.

I adore this place. Their wraps, soups, and bagels are all fresh-made and delicious. The dine-in area is small but cute. It's better for take out, and great as a quick lunch place. I used to stop here on my lunch break all the time.
