The good: great breakfast sandwiches, muffins, pastries, bagels, fruit. and so on. Sandwiches to go, even nicely wrapped up and box lunches available.
The not so good: If it weren't for the Starbucks coffee, I would have given them 5 stars. Not knocking good ole SB, just with all the local choices around, why go for the multi-national conglomerate coffee company. On the plus side, they do mention it is free refills on the coffee all day (save your receipt because they might check).
I really have to hand it to the Resort, they have a great mix of restaurants: the fancy meat (Six Peaks), yummy Italian (Montagne), apres-ski (the chuck wagon, the pub), the family place (whatever the family place is called), and Sweet Potatoes, which offers up baked goods and deli classics.
I don't know where they get these baked goods, but WOW, wow enough to entice a 4-star rating (for what they are). Chocolate muffins are out of this world, apple turnovers are heaven, apple pie is classic, and for some reason, their bagels are pitch-perfect. Where are they getting New York bagels??? Soft inside, chewy outside, not too big, toast up perfectly. I mean, wow.
