So I'm reaching the age where all of my friends are starting to go forth and multiply. When searching for the perfect baby gift, look no further than Sweet Potatoes. And this particular store (on Solano in Albany) is awesome - they have all this cute stuff (marimekko fabrics and what not) at rock-bottom prices because they receive samples. $35 onsies? Seven bucks. $20 hats? Seven bucks. If you can handle a black marker line on the label, this is your one-stop shopping baby boutique. Enjoy!
What beautiful, stylish kids clothing. They've got all the fancy stuff up front... the $28 onesie, the $38.00 sock monkey costume complete with tail and ears on the hood (I think I might actually pay for that, though...). However, it is in the back that the real values are... $3.50-$7.00 for samples, and 70% Spring collection. We got an adorable colorful octopus T-shirt and Swim shorts with cute cut-out red and yellow fish for $10.50. Stylish, brand new, but at used-store prices. Its awesome. And booties are only $1.50! They also have a small selection of books, pretty cards, and random things like tooth pillows or dog-biscuit making kits. A very fun store, elegant yet easy on the budget.
