Sweet Jazmines
2 reviews for Sweet Jazmines
To be fair, I have tried Sweet Jasmine's only one time and have not tried their wedding cakes. I bought a variety of cupcakes. To my taste they were overly sugary and not really moist like a cupcake should be. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and 3 stars, but the cupcakes were definitely 2 stars. Cupcakes Gourmet in Frazer is definitely better for cupcakes.

I stumbled upon this gem just last week but since I am wondering how I survived without it! Sweet Jazmine's boasts a cute little storefront that also gives you a view of the bakers baking away in the back room. Sweet Jazmine's is probably most famous for its wedding cakes, but they apply the same attention to detail to their muffins, cupcakes and cheesecakes too. A cupcake (the best were the chocolate chip pound cake with chocolate buttercream icing and chocolate with buttercream icing covered in chocolate ganache) runs about $2.50, which is a pretty good price considering they are absolutely delicious. If you get a chance, also try their huge muffins! Among the traditional corn and blueberry flavors are some oddities (but yummies) like sweet potato. Sweet Jazmine's definitely gives you a lot for the money, in both quantity AND quality, which is rare for bakeries these days. 6 cupcakes, a muffin and a frozen lemonade set me back exactly $20 dollars.
