This mall is on the smaller side but for someone who's not crazy about crowds, it's perfect. Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Old Navy and Walmart make it a good one stop for me. The food court is lacking but there are plenty of local restaurants around the mall.

The Swansea Mall looks like malls probably did 30 or 40 years ago. Just one floor with various but typical stores. The food court is quite disappointing with just Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's, and the ubiquitous Chinese, pizza and ice cream places. Perhaps a few more I didn't see. One interesting thing is that they have a dental clinic right in the food court. how convenient.

It's not a bad place, fairly clean but almost empty when we went and compared to the newer malls in Providence and Attleboro nothing special. I like malls with several floors because I enjoy riding the escalators and I like malls with lots of people because I enjoy watching the other people. If you are near and need something mundane it's worth a trip but it certainly can't compare to the new places.

Sadly, the main feature in this mall is Wal-Mart. Need I say more? Oh, I will...

When I was a kid, this was the go to mall. Remember Apex? Caldor's? Since then, stores come and go. Sure there are a few of the mall staples including Macy's, Sears and a Borders Express, but it's just not the same.

I try and support it, but it's just too hard.

Holy shizzle.  Both the GAP & American Eagle literally made a run for the border.  As I gasped in front of the Motorcycle Memorabilia shop that replaced where the GAP once stood mighty & proud, my jaw hit the floor so hard I caught the attention of another shop worker.   She explained that their business was so poor they were forced to pack up stock as American Eagle had also done.  Le shock.  it's difficult to imagine a mainstream mall without the usual stable offerings especially when there's already so little offered on the table.  I'm really saddened by this.

PS.  There's a wall where the Taco Bell once resided.

    This is a nostalgia review.

In the 70's and early 80's there was only one mall.  One Papa Gino's.  The Swansea Mall was flipping magical.  I can't wait to go back and be disappointed.

The Swansea Mall is where me and my friends chose to chill on Friday nights back in Jr. High. Back when we felt like kings of the world. We would stroll in half past six with a pocket full of ones and nothing short of excitement in our eyes.
First to A&W Root Beer for some chilly cheese fries and a corn dog (oh how I miss thee). Then over to Sam Goody's to find the best CD we could get for 10-12 bucks. Fifty cents left? DUDE, meet me at the air hockey table!!!!
We would stroll for hours without a care in the world.

Fast forward 15 years and everything I enjoyed is gone. The mall is in somewhat of a sad state. It's become an exercise track for the elderly. I don't much care about Sears and Walmart. The arcade closed up shop. Even The Gap skipped town recently. I can go to Ruby Tuesday I suppose but what's the point?

Oh Swansea Mall, things may be different know but i'll always remember you as you were......we'll always have Jr. High.......

Always go here when I receive gift cards for the Regal Cimena. Swansea Mall is something, it is and always has this old school feeling. Not many employees in each store as there are not many people that shop here.
I always go into Sears, always looking for electronics/$5 movies. People have always been nice too.

I don't mind the Ruby Tuesday over there either...

Lacks the large department stores, like Macy's. It does have a Victoria Secret, Hot Topic, Bath&Body works and other small stores.
