Review from Jaimie W.
San Dimas, CA
I used to frequent Swan every week, and sometimes, twice a week. I was really obsessed with coming here and getting body treatments and massages. What I love about Swan is that it's clean, it's beautiful, and they treat you like royalty. Another great thing is that the masseuses know what they're doing (and boy, does it feel nice!!). My favorite is the lymphatic massage. One of the last times I had it, the lady gave me an OUTSTANDING massage, and it left me feeling better than ever.
Even though I'm a huge fan of Swan Spa, I just can't bring myself to give them 5 stars...No matter how much money I've spent here and no matter how many times I've been, I just don't think they need to beef up their prices because they've won awards. I love you Swan, but this is why I haven't been back in so long! It was what made me start looking around for cheaper spas :( -

So, I've been here a couple times, and I don't hate it, but I'm def not in love with the place either...(hence the 3 stars)
The actual facility is beautiful, moderately modern and clean. They make sure they have the top of the line products and state of the art machines to do I-don't-know-what. They always have a representative give you a tour your first time there, so you can "ohhh and ahhh" at all the fancy stuff they have. So I'll give it to them for that. Nice facility guys!
Now, to the actual services provided. I love facials, but by no means do I get them every month (it's more like once every couple months if I'm lucky). I've gotten them before at other spas and I have to say I was kinda disappointed with the TWO (yes I always give a place two chances before I review) that I got here. As relaxing as it was, and boy was it relaxing, I felt like there was much more time spent on masks and massages as opposed to actual extractions. So I felt super uber moisturized but NOT as fresh n clean as I would have liked. Just my preference though...duh!
Ok, and the prices, they are not cheap, unless you have coupons. They used to be much more affordable, but I feel as time has passed, awards have been given, and more fancy machines appear, this place has gotten much MUCH MUCH more expensive. I know you get what you pay for, but when I walk out of a facial not feeling like my pores are untouchably clean....it's not a good deal!
Sooooooo, overall, I'd go back, but only for services which I deem is worth it. It's worth a try once or twice, but I'm not sure I'd make it my "go-to" salon....therefore the SEARCH CONTINUES!!! -

Meh is the right word.
Facilities are clean and bright, they do offer a good range of products to buy but that seems to be about it.
I had the groupon for a 60 min massage and hand treatment, ok the hand "treatment" wasn't a treatment at all, it was just a very rough salt scrub followed by what smelled like a bath and body works lotion, after which she stuffed my hands into heated mitts.
I didn't get an hour long massage, the whole service was 60 min, so the massage was 60 min minus the time it took to do the hand "treatment". I wasn't too happy about that. The massage itself was just aight, she didn't really work out any knots or have any kind of feedback on my body, mostly when she spoke she was trying to sell me whatever product she had just used on me. Kinda lame. Plus the room was super bright and she tended to jerk me around. For example if she wanted to move my arm she wouldn't move it slowly, she was kinda rough. Hard to relax with that happening. also when she gave me my scalp massage it was like she was instead actually scalping me. She did it over a towel, which I can understand why, you never know if ppl got funk they might pass on to you. But it wasn't a massage at all, it was just her rubbing the same spot on my head for 30 seconds till it was numb, it's hard to explain but it hurt and was NOT relaxing. Plus it left my curly hair a hot frizzy mess, i looked like the queen of sheba.
They have showers, a sauna, and steam room. i didn't use the sauna or steam, but the showers have shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner in them and all those products smell crazy good. I asked and it's by Jurlique.Good brand, kinda cool that they use the expensive stuff in their showers.
I wouldn't go back, even with a coupon, the service was not that good, and paying full price will put a serious dent in my pocket, geez expensive! -

I've never had an unpleasant experience there. The masseus' there are very good and know what they are doing. I've been going there, now, for two years. I love it!

This is by far the best massage I've had. I booked 90 min. Swedish massage with Jane, she was amazing. The prices are low and customer service was on point. Definitely worth giving Swan Day Spa a try!

San Dimas, CA
Their facilities are clean, and very comfortable. I did not use their sauna or other services, because my local gym has all that stuff. I really just wanted a good facial.
I got their acne facial, $95. And I was not impressed.
I love facials, and I don't mind the pain of extractions if it works. But here I found myself with lots of random masks on my face, and not enough extractions. It was definitely relaxing, but not the kind of facial I was looking for. I don't think a series of their acne facials will really help clear up your skin, facials here are like facials at regular spa places. Relaxing but not as beneficial for your skin.
I have not tried their other services, so my review is limited only to their acne facial treatment. -

I got a massage and thought it was just okay. But my friend had one, and she said her masseur was great.
