This is the kind of fantastic little hidden place you only find via word-of-mouth. Tucked in a small little strip mall off of 3A across from T-Bones, Suzie's offers the standard breakfast fare with an assortment of simple diner style pasta, seafood, and American fare. It's much bigger on the inside than you'd imagine.
My friend who took me there said they do insane waffles on the weekends.
Prices are fantastic, service was great, and a nice homey atmosphere, go check this place out. -

I took my Little Sister here on a Saturday morning. I had purchased the Yelp deal.
We had to wait about ten minutes to get a table; Suzie's is popular with Hudson locals, and it was a Saturday morning. When we were next in line and a table emptied, we grabbed it, and one of the servers immediately wiped it down for us.
I ordered one of the featured dishes, pumpkin nut pancakes, with a side of ham. My Little ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel with a side of homefries. She never eats everything she ordered, so I was skeptical, but she polished off her sandwich as if she hadn't eaten in days. (Turns out she hadn't eaten since Friday morning.) It was clearly delicious, as were my fluffy pancakes and slab of ham, grilled just right. I could only finish half of my ham and a third of my pancakes--I was full, and I also managed to drop my fork on the floor. The servers were very busy, so I figured it wasn't worth the effort to flag one of them down for a new fork when I wasn't hungry any more. I got a box for my leftovers when my takeout order of a Hungry Man's Breakfast (pancakes, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, homefries, toast) for the BF was ready. We rolled out of the Diner with as much food as we'd eaten while in the restaurant.
The service was so efficient. I ordered coffee, and despite how busy she was, our server always appeared to give me a pour when I had about two swallows of coffee left in my mug. I'm kind of a stickler about this because I put one cream and one sweetener package in each cup, and if the mug is too full when I get more coffee, it messes up the ratio of coffee to cream and sweetener. (Of course I'd much rather get a refill when my mug is still half-full of coffee than when it's completely empty!) Our server managed to get it right on each of my three refills.
So for our two breakfasts plus a Hungry Man to go, the bill, minus the $10 Yelp deal, was $13. Now THAT's a deal. And BF loved the Hungry Man later that day and the next morning--yes, he made two meals out of it. -

Suzie's is a wonderful place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They have typical diner fare, friendly staff that has always been willing to accommodate special requests, and delicious food.
We go for breakfast or brunch a couple times a month and are always delighted. Their pumpkin pancakes are amazing, and their home fries (with onions of course) are delicious.
The only downsides are that it gets very crowded because it's a small place, but they have recently redesigned the inside and made room for more people. The other downside is that it's cash only, but this isn't a big deal since there is an ATM right there. -

I'm honestly split between 3 & 4 stars here. I'm basically a fan, but it's not really anything super special here. So far I've only ever had the breakfast menu. The eggs have been ok, but not great. The bacon is variable between crispy, and limp. The potatoes are a disappointment. The flavor is just slightly off and way too starchy. I think the best example of "close but not close enough" was today's breakfast order.
I had asked for scrambled eggs with a little cheese & tomato mixed in. What I got was scrambled eggs with cheese melted on the top and tomatoes on the side. It wasn't wrong, but wasn't really right either. And that is the story of Susie's Diner in a nutshell. -

Not bad at all! Pretty crowded on the weekends, but pretty good food, and you really can't beat the price. Delicious home fries!

worked in a pinch, but is about average breakfast food...hollandaise sauce isn't very light here...it's not "real", but it is still better than IHOP or Denny's....which isn't saying much.
it's a meal on the heavy side and I think the ratings over rated it a little bit...but it's probably the best in the area or something...i was underwhelmed... -

Suzie's Diner is a great local place for homecooked meals, especially breakfast which is served until 4PM. This diner has a comfortable homey feel with counter seating and staging area in the center of the dining room surrounded by booth seating along the walls and windows. It's seat yourself unless there's a line at the door and the staff will seat your party.
Suzie's Diner serves up the typical breakfast fare (eggs, omelets, egg sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, French toast & sides) and lunch/dinner including sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, fried food, seafood, pasta, and comfort dishes (salisbury steak, liver & onions, teriyaki). Specials are posted. The prices here are pretty reasonable. Coke products, Donahue Bros Coffee, and beer & wine served here.
Before heading out for shopping, I had a late Saturday breakfast at Suzie's Diner. I found an open booth and looked over the menu (at each table). After 3 minutes, I was offered a drink and I quickly placed my order. The coffee ($1.40) was just right and the food came out quickly. I had an Egg, Sausage Patty & Cheese on an English Muffin ($3.25) with a side of homefries ($1.75) with onions (optional). The English muffins were soft and loaded with lots of butter, which made the sandwich great. The homefries were grilled potatoes with sweet sauteed onions. Very enjoyable!
The service was great and I was offered coffee refills before, during, and after breakfast ( 3 cups total). The check came out to $6.98 with tax and before tip
My shopping trip was now golden after having breakfast at Suzie's Diner.

Cute little popular diner located in a strip mall in Hudson.
Pretty decent breksfast with speicals like feta and spinch, and meatloaf omlets. Very busy with a local crowd. Exceptional counter service. I even got called "hon". -

Great place for breakfast. They've also added some lunch/dinner specials - comfort foods.
The staff and service are efficient and friendly. It's worth the drive, even if it's out of your way -

If I could, I would give this place 3.5 stars. I'm not a fan, but the place is great for a cheap bite.
Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend. Ordered a bunch of breakfast items off the menu to give them all a try. We probably could have fed 3 people with the amount of food we bought (although we did manage to finish it all ourselves). Best part was the price: $20 including tip for a meal for 3. Here it is:
- House Special Breakfast (2 eggs, sausage, toast, and home fries): typical breakfast fare. The sausage was good and the eggs cooked just like I like them (over-easy). The toast was nothing special, and I hated the home fries. I don't generally like home fries though (I prefer hash browns), but I have had some decent home fries in the past (Miracle of Science, yum). These were not it.
- French Toast (with sausage): nothing exciting, pretty standard but still tasty.
- Corned Beef Hash (side): I'm just going to write what my girlfriend said about this because I hate corned beef. She says, "it tasted how I expected corned beef hash to taste." There you have it.
- Biscuits and Gravy: above average. I was pleasantly surprised how yummy I thought these were given the price. This could be a fun dish to share with a group for breakfast.
Staff was nice and the food comes out real quick, though I would have preferred a refill on my water a little sooner. You can't really beat the amount and quality of food you get for the price. -

This is a great place to pick up a great breakfast. I know this for a fact because I cook and prepare the meals there. If you don't have a minimum of a four start breakfast in front of you when you come. Let the cook Roger know and I will be sure to make it a Five! Also swing in for lunch some of the freshest lunch product that lowell rd has to offer. Serving Dinner two nights a week (thursday and friday) cheap homemade american fare. You cant go wrong plus the staff is great.

I have been to Suzy's a couple of times now. I understand why there are folks that just rave about this place. Good food, decent portion sizes and very low prices. Add a friendly and efficient wait staff and a chef that comes out of the back to greet the regulars and you have all you need for nice little local hangout.
There's nothing fancy on the menu, but they don't do any of the basic stuff wrong. -

This is the type of place you'd see on that tv show "diners, drive-ins, and dives" its tucked away in an old small strip mall. There is a few places in town to get breakfast and this is the best. Low prices, good quality, and most things on the menu are made in house with best quality in mind. Friendly fast wait staff, and they always have good new specials.
