Dr. Sutedja specializes in pain-free, fear-free, guilt-free dentistry. He's amazing at soothing full-on phobias or just plain squeamishness. Hate the sound of a drill? He'll hand you a CD player or just bring your own iPod. That's 6 fillings, 1 cracked wisdom tooth, 1 crown, and 4 sessions of dental planing later... and I still love this guy. The first time I went to him, I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years (and it showed). He doesn't lecture you about it like most dentists though. I have a moderate needle phobia, but I don't feel a thing. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Easy parking. There are plenty of dentists in Sunnyvale, but I'm happy to make the minor trek to Fremont just because he's THAT awesome. He's my recommendation for the best Bay Area dentist, by far.

Dr. Sutedja is awesome.  He's kind and super considerate about the whole "please don't hurt me you evil Dentist" thing.  I recommend him to everyone I know, especially those scared of someone poking around in their mouth.  When he's doing stuff he always asks how you're doing, if you need anything, etc.

My first visit to him was my first dental visit in 10 years and he didn't even lay a guilt trip on me.  I've been back to him a number of times since.  Seriously, if you need a dentist check this guy out.
