    O M G  $20 for all you can eat?
Everything was freshly made, and service was super fast!

I LOVED IT!  The only thing that stopped me from giving them a 5 was the 45 minues wait, which made me want to make my own sushi with the fish in the tank by the door......

All-you-can-eat sushi rated under four stars? Oh it's possible. I just didn't know I could will myself to do it.

If you're interested in the audio version of this experience, a perfect song would be "The Twilight Is My Robe" by Opeth, from their first album, Orchid. Orchid was in many ways a flawed piece of work. Though the band formed(1990) five years prior to the album's release(1995, math majors) it was clear that there were harmony issues, both from a musicality and personality standpoint. That said, The Twilight Is My Robe is a bonafide classic. Familiar - though not enough to be trite - pacing, solid riffs, thematically appropriate demon voice segments, and melodic low-key segments come together to form a coherent yet nuanced and interesting work. By far the strongest song of the album, only being approached by "The Apostle in Triumph," a song that suffered from its unrefined complexities. If you're not interested in the audio version, you can go straight to....just kidding! Skip the parts bracketed by asterisks and listen to some Ke$ha song, or whatever it is you kids are into these days.

What the hell does Opeth have to do with Sushi Village? Why do you sound so much like Patrick Bateman? One of those questions will be answered, right now!

After stating how hungry I was in a scale of how many entire pots of kare(curry, my friends from Beikoku(America)) I could consume, we decided that all-you-could-eat was all that could suffice. After lamenting the lack of an all-you-can-eat yakitori or izakaya type restaurant in New York(which is a fantastic idea and I swear to god if you steal it I will use an hiv infected needle to strike you(what an awesomely sadistic Immortal Technique line(no, I promise, no more song references, at least in this review(err only more from Opeth)))) I suggested sushi. I then foolishly suggested going to Queens, even though I knew Ichi Umi would be just as empty, probably just as good, and was literally a few blocks away. What can I say, it just felt like a 7 train sort of night.

** Clearly, this matches perfectly with the beginning of the song. I don't have to say that the demon growl (not a pig squeal, pshh, be serious) symbolizes gnawing hunger, but I will in the interest of clarity. The relatively aggressive opening strums also mirror the carnivorous lust of deciding on an all-you-can-eat restaurant.**

Cue catching the express 7, not the evil local one.

**Triumphant drumming provides a nice segue into the slightly whinier, drawn out guitar strokes**

Admiring the odd combination of industrial buildings, office parks, and strip malls that are Queens.

**Delicate, sad vocals with subdued guitar strums**

Getting off at Flushing into the welcome sea of confusion and bustle beknownst to every laowai that frequents any Chinatown.

**More demon voice and strong upturn in tempo**

Asking the grandma the whereabouts of chiche ershiba. Being met with bemusement, a backhanded compliment 'zhen haoting my foot, I know you're laughing inside' and an encouraging if uncertain wave.

**Borderline silence, aside from the gentle bass line**

Sitting through the twenty stops before Franklin Lewis Blvd.

**Melodic, beautifully depressing, slow, low guitar strumming**

Catching a glimpse of what looks like a really out of place temple made of teak and realizing you've reached your destination.

**Sudden resurgence of demon voice and violent guitar accompaniment**

Furious consumption of fish, interspersed by consumption of other foods, strategic re-positioning of plates, and brief sips of water.

**Fastest tempo of the entire song, loudest demon voice**

A brief, unwelcome period of reflection upon the cessation of the feral proceedings, cresting into the realization that you've just eaten enough food to supply a middle school. For a week.

**That awkward moment when the song ends, you aren't quite sure that it's ended, and "Into The Frost Of Winter" starts playing and you say to yourself, 'what the hell is this?' before remembering how much Orchid sucked as an album.

In sum, there are far better alternatives if you like sushi and if you're starving, let alone if only one of those descriptors is currently relevant. It merits two stars simply for the fact that it is only $20 for all-you-can-eat, but given the questionable freshness of the fish, the strange/lackadaisical method by which the hot food is prepared, and the audacity to list a dessert item as 'fresh fruit' when they are, in fact, old oranges, I can't justify giving it a higher rating nor can I recommend it to anyone. I'm unsure if the positive reviews in the past stem from the lack of other options, but now that they are relatively plentiful, I would suggest trying them. There's a buffet just across the street that's a dollar cheaper and also serves Chinese food! You're right, that sounds suspicious; I'm already wary. Then again...that could be a perfect review to set to "Moonlapse Vertigo" if you guys are up for it...guys?

I have to say I'm very disappointed with their service last night.  Our party of 5 went there to have dinner at 7:30pm last night.  I understand that they are very busy but we waited over 40 minutes for icecream... really??? can you just go the freezer and scoop some into the bowl? I have to say the service was inconsistant, they tend to miss what you order and give you a check to hurry you along.  That's what happened to us, there were people line up at the door, so they didn't even bring us all of our requested items and after they finally give us 6 scoops of icecream, the waiter handed us our check.

The waiter that was clearing tables and filling water and tea was good though, our plates were swoop away very fast and he never let us go low on our drinks.

I don't know if I will come back again, the food was okay but I was too frustrated with the service.  When we tell our waiter that we still have some items missing, he said "can you just write down the items again?"

We had a party of 8, and unfortunately we were sent to the basement.. Only because we were seated next to the most obnoxious table, who thought they were the only ones in the restaurant.  Given that's not the restaurants fault, but everything else was.

The service was shoddy, being the fact that we were at the basement. We had the buffet, and we actually received the kalbi and some other fried things COLD. I was surprised that the icecream actually didn't come in all melted right afterwards.

Oh yeah, we ordered the cold kalbi after the sushi, only because the sushi was terrible.

The worse offense of it all? We had two buffet menus, since we had four people to a table. Both tables ordered white tuna, and jesus christ that white tuna was the most nastiest thing I have ever tasted. It tasted like the white tuna has been sitting in the heat on Sunday, put in the fridge, then it was served to us yesterday. As soon as I set the white tuna in my mouth and took the first bite, I knew something was off. A few other people out of the party of 8 reported the same rancid tasting white tuna.

That was the second time I have ever went there, and I am never going back.

Woww.. freshest sushi ever made in a restaurant!!
    Definitely go for the buffet!!
and try to get there around 8PM because the closing time is at 11PM. and despite us going at 9PM the resultant lost our order paper and gave it to us an hour late. We have to devour everything because they were kicking us out.

-Takoyaki wasn't that original... they didn't have the dried fish flakes on it either...
-The Green Tea Ice Cream was great! It was bitter and musky, just the way I like it.

Definitely go though! Everything just melts.
    Recommended, Recommend!
I do have to have a star off for an unpleasant dining experience/serving though.

It is what it is, AYCE for $20. sashimi and sushi are not the freshest but not nasty.  Soft shell crab roll is pretty good. Two rolls in other places cost more than $20 already so it is a good bargain. My advice: skip Takoyaki; it just fried flour ball. Very disappointing.

They tend to bring less than what you order. Tables are very close together so the guy on the next table kicked my hubby a few times. Well at the end, we just kind of join each others conversation anyway.

Kitchen foods came out faster than from sushi bar so don't get upset if you see your neighbors getting food sooner than you.

Pretty affordable, good service. The fried calamari is a favorite of mine with that peach or whatever sweet sauce is awesome, because of the sauce. I love all the stuff on the menu I have tasted 80 % of the menu and I can't complain
Friendly warning : eat everything they get kind of offended if you don't finish and they  advise you to take home your leftover so order that you are going to eat don't over order.

    Mmm pink lady very good.

Pink lady is yummy. Its always a pleasure coming here. every month a group of co-workers come to eat before work and always enjoy hanging out here. for 22 dollars a head for all you can eat is terrific. the food is even prepared gourmet like and not of those who slap rice and seaweed and call it sushi (see pictures). I strongly suggest this place.

We came to Sushi Village last Saturday around 5PM. It's a good thing because we beat the dinner crowd again. And the parking lot was fairly empty. We walked in and they said take any seat we wanted to and  the two of us took a seat at a table for 4 people by the window away from everyone.

The waiter came to our table and gave us water. He asked if we've been there before and we said no. He asked if we want to order off the regular menu or the buffet menu. I don't think we understood him and we finally realized that he was asking if we wanted to do the buffet that is $21.95 on weekends and $19.95 on weekdays. Of course, we went there purposely for the buffet. All you can eat off the menu they have by marking on the two pieces of paper how many of each item we wanted.

We started off with appetizers, which were house salad, seaweed salad, edamame, vegetable tempura. They were all good and typical of any Japanese restaurant you go to. And of course, this place isn't owned by Japanese people. It's actually owned by Chinese people like many other Japanese places you go to.

On the next page, we ordered the sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Sashimi and sushi were by piece so you just mark down how many of each you wanted, which was typically 2 or 4 to split amongst the two of us. I ordered two rolls, which were the eel avocado roll and the soft shelled crab roll. They were good and just like any other place. The food all seemed fresh. A few items we ordered that I remember were  yellowtail, tuna, eel, salmon, kani (crab that was actually imitation so I didn't like that). We ordered them as sashimi and as nigiris (with the rice underneath).

For dessert, I had the red bean ice cream...lol.

Good thing we got there early before the dinner rush because while we were eating, we saw all the cars in the parking lot that was full and people standing at the door waiting for seats.

It was a good dinner, with good music playing, and you should come here with a big appetite! :)

It's a tiny place, basically the owners love to cram as much table as they could in, so it gets crowded real quickly. I would say come here before 6:30 and you should be fine. I like their shumai's and gyozas (I know they are fried and that peeves a lot of people), and also their BBQ squid is good. Sushi is ok, sometimes it comes a little warm. And really people, if you like write down 20 pieces of eel or salmon, they'll just take a bunch and place it on the plate. Love their spicy salmon, love it.

My one big pet peeve about this place, and it always happens to me every single time, is that if I order a soup or a bowl of udon, it never comes. I would have to re-order time after time or ask the person before I am served my udon. Word of advice: if you order udon or soup....circle it and put stars around it.

The best part of eating here: u can order how many cups of ice cream you want. Love mixing the green tea and the red bean~~~

2.5, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I found the fish quality to be okay for the price, but not for all of the fish types. Tuna sushi was below average. Some were much better than others - i.e., salmon.

Portions are on the small side. Their sashimi/sushi is rather puny. Rolls are more normally sized, but I noticed that some of the end pieces were skimpy. The size of the calamari app was amusing.

The main reason I have misgivings about them was that they did not bring us everything we asked for. We were definitely missing at least 4 rolls from our second plate and possibly some from our first, too. I'm pretty sure they "forgot" these because they were the more costly rolls or something. We ended up being full enough, so I didn't complain. Obviously, this *could* have been a legit mistake, so I can't go postal. Still, I suggest keeping track of what you order and taking an inventory of what they bring you. I'll have to do the same if and when I go back.

    3.5 stars!

I've been here many a Friday night with a large group of friends. Weekend rates are a little pricier (about $25 with tax), so you have to make sure you come here HUNGRY if you want your money's worth. Unfortunately if you come in a large group of perhaps 6 or more, be prepared to wait an hour or two before being seated on a weekend night.

Generally, the quality of the sushi and sashimi is yummy, although occasionally you'll get a night where the rolls are more rice than anything else. My personal favorite special roles are the dragon, pink lady, and yummy rolls... unless it happens to be one of those days when the rolls are mostly rice.

The kitchen items are pretty ordinary and aren't as good as the sushi/sashimi. Don't waste too much of your stomach space on those. I do, however, recommend the desert. They have a small selection: fried banana, and green and red bean ice cream. I've had all three, and they've been absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the fried banana, which is crispy on the outside and a hot, sweet, soft flavour explosion on the inside.

In conclusion, this place is generally a good choice if you love sushi and are craving it enough to eat $22 worth in one sitting. Ambiance is nice and the place is decently clean.

3.5 stars! I am a fan! and I absolutely think it is A-OK, thumbs up.

This buffet allows you to sit in your seat and mark what you would like brought to your table - I find that this results in over ordering, over eating, and just an overwhelming experience.

I will say that for the price, it's decent grade sushi and the variety is extensive. Their appetizer, side and dessert list has a lot of options and most are really tasty.

The food comes out fast, and because they put all the sushi on a single plate - you get the "wow" factor. Haha.

The place isn't too big, and you will most likely find yourself waiting if you come at the wrong time, but if you're in the mood for cheap, good, absurd amounts of sushi - this is the place!

My boyfriend and friends came here for our friend's Birthday dinner a few weeks ago. I was excited to hear that it was all-you-can-eat. Those are always interesting to try. It was about a 20-30 minute wait for a party of five because we got there around 7PM and it was very packed at that time.

After we got seated, we had two papers on our table that we had to fill out about how much we want for table. There was a decent amount of selections and boy, we ordered a lot. I feel we ordered way too much sushi and since I don't really eat raw sushi and I'm allergic to shrimp, there was a problem with finishing the sushi on our plate.

Kani Salad: This is hands down, my favorite menu item at any Japanese restaurant depending if they have it. When my sisters first introduced me to Japanese food, I was hesitant, but I fell in love with Kani Salad. I actually love their version of Kani Salad because they added some tempura flakes into it, which was interesting and tasty.

Seaweed Salad: It's not my preferred salad and I like eating it once in a while, but I usually get sick of it after the first couple of bites, but overall tasty and good quality!

Sushi: I didn't eat every piece of sushi on the plate, but I did eat the ones I order which was sweet potato roll. The sweet potato is slightly fried in a tempura batter before going into the sushi roll. It goes perfectly with sweet soy sauce. I love it.

Vegetable Tempura: It lacked a bit flavor, at least add a pinch of salt before you deep fry it with tempura batter. I wasn't too thrilled with the vegetable tempura.

Takoyaki: Another restaurant I came across that had takoyaki. I was excited to try it, but not so excited when I saw it because it wasn't topped with the bonito flakes or the Japanese mayonnaise & barbecue sauce.  ARGH! How could they! Instead, they gave just soy sauce. It was a total disappointment.

This isn't your typical buffet restaurant and not a bad restaurant at all and good for group dinners or a date. The likelihood for me to return here, is 50/50.

Still a fantastic deal at $19 during the week and $23 on the weekend, but the service has really taken a turn for the worse.

The great thing about Sushi Village, aside from it's deal, ambiance, and the fact that it's 3 blocks from my house is that because of it's popularity, the food turn over is rapid and freshness consistent.

The AYCE menu is extensive and gives any other establishment a run for it's money:
Available Appetizers include gyoza, shrimp tempura, edamame, shumai and more
Available soups include miso, soba, mushroom
Available salads include house, kani, spicy kani and more
Available Meals include sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, rolls, maki, katsu and more
Available Desserts include fried banana, red bean ice cream, green tea ice cream, vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit

And yes, all included in the $19-$23 pp price

However, after a visit here this weekend at around 5 pm, only 4 people in our party, our first order came out 30 mins later and lacked several of the items we requested. We placed 2 more orders after finishing our first round (we try to only order what we can eat, being mindful that we don't want to waste food) but we had to ask for new menus each time and always received an attitude about it.

I will still go to Sushi Village because the quality, price and dining environment (albeit noisy) makes the pro out weigh the con, but I must say, there is still something to be said for service, and I think they need to bulk up either their kitchen or wait staff to keep up with the volume.

I've been here a couple times now, and I'm never disappointed.  One tip I can give (from my own personal taste) is to stay away from anything mango-sauce with sushi, it is really sweet and doesn't seem to work.
Other than that, everything on the menu is great, sashimi is fresh and firm, seaweed salad is awesome.  The amount my friends and I eat here would cost hundreds of dollars in Manhattan.

How is this place still in business?! I get it, sushi at buffets are not gonna be like sushi at high end Japanese restaurants but this place serves some sad sad SAD rolls of rice-seaweed-fishy mush.

I can accept poor service and high prices if the food is good cuz I love to eat but if you serve me something that's not even presentable, you'll break my heart and I won't come back. No, not even if you try to tempt me with perks, lower prices, incentives, etc.

I'm a huge Sushi fan.  I love it.  I will try any type of Sushi at least once (most of the time I never know what I'm eating anyway).  When I first learned about a sushi buffet for $20 in Queens, NY I could not wait to try it out.  And I was not disappointed.  It's a little gem in Bayside and if you weren't looking for it you'd miss it.  Their parking lot is unfortunately very small and street parking can be difficult in a residential area.  The selections are an average amount for the dollar amount you'll be spending.  But they do have hand rolls and soup and salad and dessert to choose from as well.  It's a simple ordering process.  You are given 2 sheets of paper with a pen at the table.  1 sheet has the soups, desserts, Salads and whatnot.  The second page is all the sushi they have available.  You write down the amount you want to get and shortly after you are given your order.  Usually I go with some people so we wind up getting a second round of sushi before ordering the amazing fried banana dessert.  It's a decent sized restaurant and defiantly a great place to check out if you have a huge craving for sushi for a great price.

I went for the dinner buffet on Christmas ($22 pp, weekend buffet) because it's located within minutes of home, and it was packed to a 10 minute wait, so service became spotty due to the nonstop bustle.

I feel sorry to give a lukewarm review, but I think the quality of sushi/sashimi at this Chinese-owned restaurant is of the take-out variety. The tendons in the fish made for some unexpected dental floss. The fusion Asian is also not best represented when their takoyaki balls are bald; there's no bonito flakes, mayo, or real okonomiyaki sauce. And the special rolls all taste nearly the same.

On the upside, they don't make you feel awkward for ordering a bit more than you can handle. Although they don't pad the rolls up with rice, our order for 3 special rolls and a healthy assortment of a la carte sushi/sashimi turned out to be very heavy for a party of 2. They offered to take any plate away, even when there was some food left in it. Advice: you may be tempted to check off loads of raw fish because you know it takes a long time to arrive, but it's better to order only your favorite picks and not have to leave guilty and wasteful.

Sushi Village is not for the peckish appetite. Go when you are hungry and ready to eat super fresh, super tasty sushi!!! My other half and I will typically get there at about 5:00 p.m. on a week night and leave 35 minutes later in with dazed, satiated expressions on our faces.

Here is a typical food Sushi Village session for me and my man:
starters are comprised of a bowl of edamame, shumai, a calamari appetizer and two green salads with ginger dressing. The appetizers aren't the most amazing, but they are good.

For the feast, we eat anywhere from 7 to 10 hand rolls. We devour the spicy crab, spicy tuna, yummy roll, eel avocado, lobster roll and others. Each bite is scrumptious!

The atmosphere is one of business: get in, feast, pay, and get out. As in most sushi buffet settings, you are expected to order only what you eat. We are always very courteous and eat up every little speck of food placed in front of us!

Try it out when you need a sushi feast on a budget. On weekdays, it is only $20 per person. It is a delicious bargain! :)

If you want all you can eat sushi and don't want to go to a buffet place then go no further.

This place is amazing but can get busy. It's a great place to go and just eat and eat  and eat with your friends. Order a lot because the are not quick when you order. That's ok because it makes you pace your self. The sushi prices not large bits it's all you can eat so order more.

AYCE sushi..... I LOVE IT. The squid is so good. SALMON. KANI SALAD. Get more sheets of paper and have it filled out and ready to give them BEFORE you finish your plate. That way you'll keep having food on the table without waiting too long!

I live close to this location so of course I've been here to enjoy the buffet. I have to say, they use to be better- now everything seems to taste the same, but that is not to say it isn't good. It is a good bargain for $21/$22 dollars (depending on weekday or weekend). In my experience, they do not load you up on rice, which is nice (teehee I rhymed). There is another sushi place nearby that gives you these GIANT rolls that are 90% rice but I'll save that for the review of that said place.

The chicken skewers here are very dry- I do not recommend them at all. The appetizers are all hit or miss so just try them out, what is the harm xD

If you are in the area and you are craving a lot of sashimi/sushi for one affordable price, then come here. I'll rank this place as #3 of my sushi buffet spots.

Came here after work with co-workers and few friends. Sat in the basement with bunch of other people. Let's just say this isn't a place i would travel all the way from brooklyn just to be here. I would pay extra money for Ichi Umi, rather to come then this place. The sushi didn't tasted fresh, ordered beer twice and clearly said heineken and they gave us corona ... SMH. For the service , yes i understand is packed but you should have at least a waiter for each section and not mix of waiter getting the same thing over and over. -1 star for service and -1 star for food quality.  I guess is true what my friend said about this place. This is a place for quantity and not quality..... well it's expected for this price and buffet.

***************Ok, i've came to a conclusion that this place serves Escolar instead of White Tuna. Unfortunately i had to found out the hard way. If anyone like sushi or sashimi please google what Escolar, maybe give you some precaution when ordering it from a cheap sushi buffet. sigh. still feeling sick , i wish i can give this place a no star. I've been eating white tuna and sashimi in all other places for years and never had this problem. I wont be coming back here ever.

All you can eat "Japanese" restaurant. Why the quotation marks? Obviously not own by Japanese people. AYCE sushi hardly exists in our dictionary except in Japan when they charge $70 for 2 hours. Upon entering the restaurant, you're given two check off lists- one for the appetizers/cooked food/desserts and another for the raw stuff.

Here are the dos and don'ts: the kani salad - fish sticks, shredded apple and cucumber, mayo, and tempura flakes, BBQ kalbi - one order means 2 strips cut into 4-6 pieces, and mushroom soup -surprisingly decent, not really a fan of French's fried onion taste. The shrimp tempura is doable (basically fried shrimp) but I don't really care for them. I wouldn't really recommend anything from the "Fry" section, teriyaki, or the noodle soups - not authentic at all, think pre-cooked frozen food.

Now onto the raw items: their nigiri pieces are pretty small and their sashimi pieces are a joke. When you ask for 4 sashimi pieces you basically get 1 normal piece sliced into four. However, the fish are somewhat fresh and they don't go crazy with the rice portions like most AYCE places. Everything besides the saba and the pepper salmon are good to get. I like their spicy salmon nigiri (mixed with tempura flakes) as well. The rolls are nothing special; again the pieces are small and some do not even sound appealing. Who in the world eats mango avocado or peanut avocado rolls?

Lastly, I recommend ending your meal with the banana tempura and red bean/green tea ice cream. Remember to pace yourself while eating/ordering because it'll take a while for the food to be prepared esp. when it's packed. I prefer Sushi Palace located in Great Neck owned by the same people over Sushi Village even though it is closer to me because the atmosphere is a bit nicer. Overall, Sushi Village is decent. I would either pick Sushi Village or Ichi Umi (read my review) depending on where I am, the time of the day (Ichi Umi dinner prices are a little bit more expensive), and what I'm craving for (Ichi Umi has more options).  I give Sushi Village 3.5 stars.

My first experience with Sushi Village. Who the hell painted the parking lines in the parking lot ?!?

Food was meh, I had better Japanese buffet. (go try Minado or Mizumi). The service here is extremely slow and they missed a few of my ordered dishes. Also they gave us the bills in the middle of our meal, which is very rude.

    The Cook Food:

    1. Fried beancurd - I taste more of the oyster sauce than the actual beancurd
    2. Goyza - they were lazy to pan fried the Gyoza so they deep fried the goyza. that is sacrilegious
    3. Shu Mai -  too lazy to steam the shu mai, so they deep fried the shu mai. again sacrilegious
    4. Kalbi - over cooked, more bones than meat and tasted like rubber.
    5. Are those noodles in my Udon noodles soup?

    The Sushi:

    1. Spicy tuna and salmon rolls tasted like spicy styrofoam than fish
    2. How about bigger splices of fish of the special rolls (Bayside, rainbow, dragon rolls)
    3. The sashimi has the look and texture of refrigerated seafood

    The dessert:
    1. Green tea ice cream has the taste of ground dirt
    2. Fried banana - was ok. nothing to write home about.

Kitchen dishes were not so great-but the sushi were surprisingly really good!
The rice was seasoned pretty well coming from a 20 dollar all-you-can-eat sushi joint, it was surprisingly delish. One key point to remember though is that you really have to know how hungry/full you are before ordering. If you leave more than a certain amount, they would charge you extra on top of your regular bill-i think we got warned about that but the lady was nice enough to let it go. so we left a hefty tip to cover that. Overall experience was alright but I would  still probably go for Mizumi even though I would have to pay a couple more bucks on top of how much sushi village is worth.

ok so I've been here several times. Went yesterday, Friday, around 5PM. I was expecting a big dinner crowd but there were maybe 5 tables and still plenty of parking. I went alone. Things went great. I was stuffed. I have learned how to work the system.

Food was awesome, no orders missed , service was average but i was able to create a steady cycle of food.

Here are PROTIPS from a frequent visitor:

    1. I go alone and have found a max of 2-3 rolls per person is pretty much what you're going to get. Any more and they simply IGNORE THE REST

    2. If you're like me and order '1 of each' type of specialty roll - they will try REALLY hard to get away with just making the exact same roll and changing the outside a bit to make it 'look different' in many cases.

    3. The Kani/Spicy Seaweed salad comes from the SUSHI BAR. If you order these IT WILL MAKE YOUR SUSHI TIMES SUFFER. Yes these salad apps are awesome but you WILL PAY WITH WAIT TIMES AND YOUR SUSHI WILL COME OUT EVEN LATER.

    4. Learn to Pre-queue Sushi orders and keep track of what's coming.

Here's how to PREQUEUE like a PRO:
    - I will use a 1 person party as an example.
    =================

    1. First course - order from the kitchen and the sushi side. SMALL  ORDER FOR SUSHI - 2 ROLLS.

    2. When they bring out the kitchen stuff in a few minutes - ask for more menus and then order another 2 ROLLS IMMEDIATELY.

    3. You will then get your sushi rolls quickly if you didn't order the Kani/Spicy Seaweed salads (See above) at which point you should QUEUE another small sushi order - 2 rolls.
At this point, judge if you want more kitchen stuff.

    4. If you do this right, you'll get Sushi order #2 in a few minutes and #3 should be at the table by the time you finish it.
Kitchen stuff #2(if ordered)  will come roughly at this point.

    5. By now you may be getting full. If you're still hungry- rinse and repeat the steps above and you should get a nice cycle of food coming to your table every 5-10 min.

    THE KITCHEN MENU
    =================
This this is a break down of the kitchen menu incase you were wondering "wtf is that" when you look at it:

Kani Salad - Imitation crab salad (think coleslaw-ish) very good
Spicy Seaweed Salad - kani salad with seaweed salad mixed in
    Edamame- soybean pods
Croquette - think hashbrown with mashed potatoes inside
Yaki Tori - grilled chicken skewer
    Shumai - fried wonton
Age Tofu - fried tofu pieces
    Lumpia - spring roll
    Gyoza - fried pork dumplings
Kalbi - grilled marinated short-ribs- very good
Anything tempra/katsu - breaded and fried

    ENJOY YOUR MEALS

We came here for our anniversary last week and it was a very nice place. I have to say if you do not come before 6 though you are screwed. We came at around 5 and there were only 2 or 3 other tables at the time so all the sushi and dinner food we wanted just kept coming! Then the crowd started coming in, this place gets seriously packed. We think that even if you make a reservation after 6 you are not going to receive the same kind of service we got when we came.

Now for the food. The best dinner items we ordered were
Croquette: Potato hash brown thingy which was crispy and hot
    Shumai: Dumplings
    Yaki Tori: chicken kabob
    Gyoza: More dumplings!
Kalbi: BBQ ribs which my bf liked

The chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura were average, not the best. The fried bananas and ice cream were nice finishes to the meal.

    Sushi
My favorite was the butterfly roll and it had a little sprinkle of mango sauce at the top, it was perfect. The sweet potato roll was good too because it had a nice crunch to it. The pink lady was ok. My bf liked the eel. I can't remember the other ones too well.

The bill came to $48 ($21.99 each Fri-Sun) but when me and my bf considered how much we ordered we definitely think the amount we got was around $80. Plus the servers did not rush us out even though other people were waiting. You can eat as much as you want till your tummy is content here. We would go back.

All you can eat Sushi for $20 im sold. My boyfriend and i come here once a month. This pace has a small parking lot, but it's worth every penny. Food is good and fast. Can get very crowded but the food is worth it. Staff is nice and friendly.

    3.5 stars!

Ok, I admit I was totally sketched out by the idea of all-you-can-shove-in-your-face sushi when my friend suggested it... but now I can safely say this place can be a safe bet!

Following my recent trend of showing up at restaurants late @ night... we didn't even arrive until 9:45pm last Sunday... Furious ordering resulted in two huge plates of sushi/sashimi, not to mention the salad/noodles/different kinds of katsu... YUM I love variety. Service is quick and the waiters are nice. We literally stayed until the last employee was left... @ 11 something... poor thing, she was super nice about it and we even got our green tea ice cream...

    Note:
~ I'd tend to avoid the shrimp tempura since the shrimp is skimpy, and you have to eat it fast, each order has 3 pieces so you have to share it or gulp it down yourself before it gets cold (fried coldness isn't never good).
~ The different katsu-s were mediocre as well, a little on the overcooked for opinionated old me.
~ The warm sake is meh. Definitely not great quality, but hey, it's from an all you can eat place, what can we expect.
~ This place is a good choice for a big group of people. A great family style sharing joint with the food coming out quickly so people don't get too rowdy/impatient.

I came here with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary and to be honest, I revisited a few weeks ago because I had a good experience the first time. However, the second time around wasn't as great.

There is a small parking lot that you can park without valet but it is almost always full. I suggest you park on the street meters or find parking near residential area across the street.

The restaurant looks wooden on the outside and reminds me of a camp house. When we entered, a server greeted us and seated us. The ambiance was quite serene and gives you the feeling of the inside of a camp house.

The first time I visited, I ordered the maki roll and Boston roll. I expected the sushi to be phenomenal but it definitely did not live up to the hype. Although the sushi was definitely freshly made, it tasted the same as any other sushi I've tasted. It is moderately priced. It wasn't that inexpensive nor was it sky-high expensive.

The second time we visited, my boyfriend decided to order the sushi buffet. He checked off practically everything on that list. Haha. I on the other hand only got the Boston roll. Everything that was sold separately on the menu was on the buffet list with the exception of some stuff such as the Boston roll. Some items I remember were fresh fruits (which never came by the way but he was so full he decided to forget about it), Maki roll, Tempura, Udon, and other types of sushi. The wait for the food was quite long. I think we waited about half an order for his buffet order.

It turned out that he ordered way more than he could eat so I decided to help him. Our waiter saw and came over to yell at us saying that we had only ordered one buffet, therefore we couldn't share. Quite embarrassing but it was understandable. However, she shouldn't have yelled/snapped at us and approached the matter in a different way. She should have kindly told us that since we had only ordered one buffet, we weren't allowed to share. If she had done that, I think I would consider revisiting but after that experience, I feel like that waitresses were rude.

The bill came out to less than $40 the second time and slightly over $20 the first time. It wasn't too bad but revisiting? Maybe not.

Always fresh!  They need to change their choice in music.  Wasn't in the mood to eat sushi and listen to some rap song about smoking weed blasting in my ear! But the food is good and I had a sense of humor that night so it was all good!
