One of the few buffet places with Thai and Vietnamese selections. For a flat price, you can keep ordering items of a menu -- so it is not a typical buffet where you walk around and pick from ready-made items from a buffet spread.
The sushi was just average, and I was served a plate of pad thai with no shrimp in it. I was bummed out, because I wanted to fill my gastro-intestinal capacity with tasty and expensive stuff, not plain fried pad thai noodles. Also, they had some exotic sounding egg dish...but it turned out to be a hard-boiled agg that was additionally deep fried. Yuck!
Service is included, regardless of the size of the party, so I found that the waiters were not particularly pleasant. If you do not finish your food, you are fined.
Average value for money.
I drove past it today and it has closed. See the pic I uploaded. There is still furniture and such inside but I saw garbage on the floor so I am assuming this is the end.
Average sushi but I like the variety of noshin' you can do here.
I'm not a raw-fish lover but I was able to find a decent selection of stuff to eat. Pencil your order in on slips of paper --- you get choices of tapas-portions of Thai, Viet, or Japanese dishes. I particularly liked the tempura, the Red Curry chicken, and the Pad Thai. I could have noshed on that stuff endlessly. Don't expect high-end selection in this area of town. Just eat your money's worth and you'll be good to go.
I loved this place because you order what you think you can eat and thats all they serve you. So, if you cant finish something it is your fault. The sushi is always fresh and the people are very nice. Once we spent over 3 hours just talking and eating and no one asked us to leave. Things are made just the way you ask them to. Also, the have authentic japanese meals available to you. If you like sushi, you must try this joint. Happy Eating!
