History
Established in 2008
As most sushi-lovers can tell you, sushi is a very addictive and yet expensive habit to uphold. Personally, I got tired of spending so much money on my sushi fetish and decided there had to be an easier and less expensive way to enjoy my favorite delicacy.
I started buying my own ingredients and practicing at home; and soon realized that the rolling process is a lot of fun and also very simple. My friends wanted me to teach them too and from there, Your Sushi Party was born!
Meet the Business Owner: Simone B.
Si'mone is the owner and creator of Sushi Party, an Atlanta-based sushi catering and cooking-instruction business that operates in metro Atlanta and surrounding areas. Her company began with the sole purpose of demystifying Asian-Fusion cuisine by offering fun, educational Your Sushi Party in-home rolling parties.
Before her entrepreneurial ventures, Si'mone was an executive assistant for entrepreneur. Si'mone, like most sushi virgins, was apprehensive to try sushi for the first time, but once she tasted it she was hooked. She soon developed a love for sushi which inspired her to create Your Sushi Party.
The company's goal is to educate people on what began as an Asian delicacy, sushi and show them that sushi is not solely raw fish, but that it encompasses a wide range of cooked options. She also hopes to encourage people to use their creativity to create fresh, hand-rolled sushi in the comfort of their home.
