if I can I will give 3 1/2 stars.... only because I have better....
for 16-17 bucks all you can eat sushi lunch buffet is pretty expensive don't you think?
anyway.. my friend and I were the first 2 customer, so we decided to sit in the sushi bar. The chef was pretty friendly and right away ask us what we what.
unlike the sushi buffet I had in davis, they had nothing prepared, everything is made after you ordered.. so it quiet intimidating... I feel bad if I have to keep ordering sushi from them.
The quality of the sushi was not bad...I found their fishes to be quiet fresh. As usual... after eating couple varieties of sushi I notice they are pretty much the same.. for the most part they all have imitating crab filling...
so it's ok I would say... definitely will get sick of it pretty quickly.. but I guess it's not bad once in awhile.
btw.... they should have offer other item beside sushi don't you think? seriously... 16 bucks n only sushi?
If I could, I would give this wannabe "Sushi" restaurant 0 stars.
1. There isn't a sushi master on site. They have some college kids cutting the sushi and the cuts are all wrong. They need a sushi master. At least a Korean one, since Koreans also have sushi in there culture unlike the Chinese which this restaurant seems to be run by.
2. The sushi doesn't taste fresh. I order the Sashimi Platter and the fish looked old and tasted in the way they looked. Very unappealing.
3. They brought out wet plates (indicating that the plates could've just been rinsed off with water) which were round square plastic plates and not even sushi plates. Also my soy sauce bowl was stuck on top of my round plastic plate
4. The waitress did not bring out the food in the proper order. main dish came out first, then the appetizer, then they forgot my rice and miso. WTF?
5. bad service bad sashimi bad prices.
SUSHI FACTORY SUCKS AND THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE.
EAT HERE IF YOU WANT BAD SERVICE OR BAD SASHIMI
A lot of people leaving reviews here are seriously HATING. I do admit the service may not be consistent (nor quick) and your average visit usually clocks in at about 2hrs because of this, but the quality is definitely consistent and that's what should count. I've been here regularly for a while now and never have I had as bad an experience as some of the reviewers here claim to have had.
This place does have it's little quirks (random tree in bathroom, some langauage barriers, etc.) but it's a cool place to just chill and take your time with some friends and mass quantities of fresh, well made sushi. This is the kind of little place that gives you the bang for your buck if you're patient. Let's face it, there's gonna be something to sacrifice for the pleasure of all the sushi you can put away for only $24. The good thing is that it's not the quality of the food that gets sacrificed. So it may take a little longer than you're used to, but in my opinion it's a small thing to deal with in order to enjoy some good, decently priced sushi.
For the newbies out there: If you check this place out, go for the all-you-can-eat deal and bring some patience. It's gonna be about 10-15 mins between each round (from order to served), so make each one count. It's your call on the Miso, but skip the salad (that's not what you came for anyway). Order no less than 3 rolls for your first round (applies to everybody in your party), then gauge it from there based on your hunger. Try the Lion King Roll, the Crystal Shrimp Roll and the Dragon Roll.
You really can't go wrong, but some rolls are definitely better than others. It'll take some trial and error to find your faves. But if you can deal with the fact that you're not going to experience 5 star service in exchange for a lot of good food, you're gonna dig Sushi Factory.
Going here is an epic on par with the Odyssey. I never go with more than four people and never under two hours. We all always get the all you can eat. The rolls are nice; my favorites are the New Jersey, a deep friend Philly Roll, the Crispy Spider, deep friend Spider Roll, and Fuji, Salmon on top of more Salmon? mmm-mm, rolls. You can eat efficiently pretty quickly if your first three orders are those but I've decided that my next foray here will be a Nigiri only affair.
Indeed, the service is slow, you're idle a lot, and there's a random tree in the bathroom and all of that does suck a little bit. But 24 dollars for all you can eat nigiri will keep me coming here every time I spend more than one week in San Jose.
You are greeted by a waving cat and moved to either table or booth. The all-you-can-eat is really literally that, $24 for platters of sushi. So if you haven't eaten all day and have a bottomless pit for a stomach go for it, it'll be worth it. Consider ordering individual dinner rolls come to about 7-12 dollars each.
The sushi here is indeed fresh, flavorful and made to order. No chewy sushi rice, no fishy aftertaste or bones in your unagi here.
Definite ones you have to get should be the Dragon, Lion King and Rainbow Roll. You won't regret it! Unless you are trying to lose a couple of inches off your waist for the holidays stay away from the Lion King, once you see it on the menu you'll know what I mean.
Service needs some work, stop pushing my party of 6 to get 4 all-you-can-eats. You guys are already charging us 18% in having a party of 6 and another 5% if we split our bill, piss off.
OK so next time I wont be so stupid and actually read the reviews. Well I am came here with a group of 4 Friday night and lets just say I shouldn't have gone so far.
I came from Hayward to San Jose to try this and it was not impressive. The crunchy cobra roll was honestly the only one that I would order again. I guess it is good enough if you come for lunch and you are super starving and in the area, but don't come outta your way here. I felt a bone in one piece of unagi which I have NEVER had happen only heard of. A different roll the piece of fish made me gag the flavor was just off. all in all the service was good but food kinda sucked.
If you have a bottomless pit stomach like mine. Go there-
2 x California Rolls
2 x Saki Sushi
4 x Tuna Roll
3 x Spicy Tuna Roll
1 x Dragon Roll
2 x Unagi Roll
All for $20
Fresh, they dont make it until you say it, service could be a little faster though. Overall, it's a steal for what I can stuff in my stomach
This is a wonderful place to eat sushi...if you care more about decor and service than you do about fresh fish. The "shine" on the fish was dull and the fish was too chewy--signs of yesterday's catch, in my book!
We ordered the all-you-can-eat sushi but in this restaurant, all you can eat apparently means that we get one platter of sushi and then the waiter ignores us for half an hour so we can't ask for more.
The a la carte prices seemed inflated...it was like the owners tried to "force" people to buy the all you can eat but then they make money by not actually making sure your stomach is satisfied at the end of the meal. It seems like a shady scheme!
I went here with a gift card from a friend...even if I got another gift card to this place, I would never go again.
Filthiest bathroom ever! Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. I used to come here often, but the last time I went I was just too disgusted by the filth in the bathroom.
This is a quantity place, not a quality place.
This place is good for their buffets if you are just reallly hungry and want to scarf down food with no consideration for quality. The sushi was alright..I've had better. The philly roll they gave me had waaaay too much cream cheese in it! They might as well have given me a slab of cream cheese on my plate. the spicier rolls have no special spicy sauce. The chef made my spicy roll right in front of me and all he did to make it spicy was douse it with some Sriracha. I like sriracha but not like that...I was hoping for some good spicy sushi sauce.
All in all, this place was alright for me..2.5 stars.
My family and I went here for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. MAKE RESERVATIONS! The place does get pretty crowded. Thank goodness, we had reservations or else we would've waited close to over an hour for a table. The place is huge and nice. Our waitress was really fast with our orders and drinks, so service was pretty good. She kept checking up on our table (as did other waitresses on their tables), which was good because they paid attention. BUT that's also bad because if you're getting the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option then it's harder to share your food (though you're not supposed to).
My brother got the chicken/salmon bento box which came with the 2 entrees, rice, salad, and orange. The salad was pretty good- gingery salad dressing or something. The orange definitely helped me during my journey through the AYCE sushi. My dad ordered the seafood udon. OMG IT'S SO HUGE!
My mom and I ordered from the AYCE menu. You can order 3 rolls/person at a time. They had a marker to use to mark which sushi you wanted on their menu, give them the menu, and tada! Sushi delivered. Since our service was fast, we got our food about 10-15 minutes after we ordered.
The lion king was pretty good (my mom's favorite) but the cherry blossom didn't have fresh fish and you could taste it! It was difficult to swallow the sushi and wished that I didn't order it. Sex on the mountain roll was good, spicy especially with the huge pieces of scallops on tops, and creatively cut! Crispy cobra was okay. Spider roll is my default roll to get and as usual (as in other restaurants) it was pretty large. The dragon roll was also a favorite of the night, devoured within a couple of minutes. I can't recall the names of the other sushi rolls we ordered but they were pretty good. This place is no Fuji's (from Davis, CA or Elk Grove, CA) but it's pretty good and conveniently located near me! The AYCE was $22.95 for that Saturday night. Pretty much worth it if you order enough rolls.
$15.95 for the all you can eat lunch menu.... pretty good deal.
The rolls are decent and the selection is good. You can order up to 3 choices at a time which ensure that people don't waste sushi. The service is pretty good and the orders do come up fast.
The yellow tail and tuna both tasted pretty fresh on the day that we went. And the salmon, eel, and shrimp were pretty much standard. I would recommend to go early, they open at 11:30 because as we were leaving 1:00 the place was filling up.
So a friend and I decided to come back to try them out again.
They still have some restrictions on which rolls you can order during dinner, but there's plenty to get you full. We did the all you can eat. There's plenty of fried type rolls to order and a few nigiri. To my surprise, the salmon nigiri was pretty fresh. So were the other fishes, hamachi and snapper. The rolls come out huge and filled with fish and other goodies. Great way to get you full fast! =P Came here on a Saturday so maybe that made a difference in fish quality.
This place only works well when you come here in a small group and not a group of more than 6. The service is still slow. Best spot is to sit at the sushi bar because the chefs will make the rolls right away.

The all-you-can-eat sushi was good. That was all my friends and I had when we came here. We didn't bother with miso soup or any other dishes - just the all-you-can-eat sushi. We ordered a bunch of rolls like the Fire Roll, Godzilla Roll, Kamikaze Roll, Spider Roll, Sex on the Mountain Roll, and some others which I can't remember the names to.
When the sushi came, I had no idea which roll was which but I guess it didn't matter since it was a free-for-all-take-whichever-roll-you-saw kind of thing at our table. I think it was a waste that we ordered the same roll twice instead of some other roll to try.
Okay so all of that was good except when we wanted to pay. We were trying to get the attention of the waitress but no luck. We raised our hands, we snapped, we sorta did a wave around the table with our arms, we sorta danced, and we even called out to someone but none of those techniques worked. Finally, one of us decided to walk from our table to get the attention of one of the waitresses. I'm pretty sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that we had around 10 people in our group at a huge table in the corner of the place. It felt like we were left in the corner and forgotten about.
Overall, the sushi was good but the service wasn't. If you were thinking about sharing the lunch and dinner rolls, then don't because they will get mad and charge you extra. I found that out from my friend's friend at our table.
I've been here three times. The first time was great, the second time was okay but the third time could have been a lot better. The waitress sat me in a corner and forgot all about me. After 15 minutes, she finally remembered and took my order. If this third incident had never occurred, I would have given them four stars because their sushi is good and the pricing is excellent if you can eat a lot.
Most of their rolls come in about 8-10 pieces. I wished they would give smaller portions in the all you can eat deal though because some rolls might not be what you like but you will have to finish it or they will charge you extra.
for the lunch buffet along with tip per person, it all totals about $20 a head. for good fresh quality sushi, thats pretty good. the food there is the real deal. made right there in front of you, you are eating some of the best sushi you can get here in America without paying an arm and a leg.
did i mention its a buffet? i always eat to the point where i regret it and its no different here. but as i eat, i enjoy every bit of deliciousness of what sushi factory offers.
the reason i didnt give it a 5 is that the service is not so fantastic. the place is run by chinese people who seem like they hate their job and dont want to be there in my opinion. the sushi specialists are very friendly though.
this is the only place i would go to eat sushi. its the best bang for your buck and its real good!!
omigosh...my 1st all u can eat sushi...it was delish...the service was great...the food was fingerlickin good...proportions are omigosh extreme esp for an all u can eat sushi...fish & food was super fresh...i ordered dragon roll, sake nigiri sushi, caterpillar roll, crystal shrimp roll, and taxi roll...my fav totally was da crystal shrimp roll and the sake sushi. I would soooo go here again...the price is cheap...and also if u become a member u pay $70/yr and u get some specials for members only. i think dats what ill do next time...become a member for sure.
I love to go here for its all-you-can-eat sushi, nothing else. The all-you-can-eat option is definitely worth it, especially if you are able to eat 3 or more rolls in one sitting. (AND YES, fyi, I can eat that much.) But if you can't handle it, don't do it! The sushi is definitely good, and spending about $25 on it is definitely the business.
So if you do go here, I suggest going on an empty stomach!
I'm am sooooo stuffed right now. Damn you Sushi Factory! I had low expectations of any all-you-can-eat sushi joint, envisioning pre-made rolls like that crap they sell at Safeway. But I heard there was a good place in south San Jose and, craving sushi one night, found Sushi Factory on Yelp and hopped in the car hoping it was the right place.
I got there pretty early, probably 5:15 or so, sat at the bar, and was quickly served larger portions than I receive at my typical sushi place, even moreso lately as the size of fish on my nigiri seems to shrink right along with the economy. Guess there's not much point in skimping if it's all you can eat. The nigiri was decent enough, but you should probably hit this place for the rolls. You want a nice cut of raw fish, go to Sushi On The Run.
So, it's worth it if you're hungry and your schedule can accommodate a food coma. I can't imagine going for lunch and returning to work! Would give it 3 1/2 stars if possible. It's not 4 star sushi, but it is 4 star value.
PROS:
*Not many all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants around this area
CONS:
*Dirty. Miso bowl had dried food on it from the previous patron.
*Old sushi. Fish tasted plasticky.
*Bad service. They don't listen to you though they pretend to.
*Too many fine print restrictions, which made me paranoid.
My friends and I kept asking ourselves, "Wait, can we order this? No, that's for 'members' only. Can you taste my sushi since you ordered all-you-can-eat sushi too? Neh, better not risk it."
Fine print restrictions:
-5% extra charge for splitting the check
-5% extra charge for ordering all-you-can-eat sushi and NOT sitting at the sushi bar
-5-8% extra charge for sharing.
-5-8% extra charge for not eating all your sushi
-18% automatic gratuity added for parties of 6 or more
It just sucked eating here. I think they purposely try to make you feel uncomfortable so you don't eat too much sushi.
FYI, they charge you for tea ($1-4 per person).
Wow. This place sucks. I wasn't expecting much for an all you can eat sushi please...but geez, the quality of the fish was absolutely horrible. The fish was extremely fishy...meaning that the fish wasn't fresh at all. The concept was great...I just wish that the food could back it up. So as far as the concept goes...it's $25/person and you could order up to 3 rolls at a time/person. We ordered 6 rolls at first but we were only brought 5. They forgot about the other one. We eventually ordered another roll to make it 6 but that was a huge mistake. The spider roll was nasty...I basically forced myself to suck it down so we wouldn't have to pay the fee for wasted food. The scallops on the sex on the mountain roll tasted like they've been sitting outside for days. The yellowtail (hamachi) definitely didn't have its buttery consistency...the tuna looked like play-do.
Ugh...I don't want to waste any more time reviewing this place. If you look around, there are no japanese people dining there. Heck. There are hardly any asians dining there! That should say something already. I'd recommend this place to the folks who don't know what good sushi is. If you think sushi should be cheap and look pretty, then this is the place for you. I'm never coming back here again because I'd be worried about food poisoning.
Oh, and the service is just as horrible as the food!
The food is excellent but the service sucks.
The All-You-Can-Eat lunch/dinner is well worth your appetite if you can eat more than a roll.
Came for the all-you-can-eat sushi lunch with eight co-workers. Faster service with bar seating, but they wouldn't let us even though there was room (minus two stars). Good value and variety - I paid $21, ate 18 pieces, and skipped dinner (plus three stars).
Recommendations:

I'd give it 5 stars if the service was faster, if we can share, if there was more from the lunch menu, if it was cheaper. LOL. other than that... it was koo.
great sushi but S L O W service.
Lunch is, I think $17 now and dinner is around $30.
I had my last visit to Sushi Factory about 2 weeks ago. Here are my reasons:
1. the waitress is SOOOOO STUPPPIIDDDDD and slow and idiotic and did I say stupid?!
2. the sushi isn't that fresh, but don't we already know that?
3. they fill you up with imitation crab
4. the waitress is stupid
5. the waitress is stupid
we asked for water and she did her regular "mhm okaY" in a way too optimistic way. then went to the sushi bar to talk to the sushi guys for at least 10 minutes until an order of ours was ready and.......i was so damn thirsty and angry.
we asked for water again and she did her same stupid "mhm okaY" but we realized that's her way of NOT LISTENING so I blurted out, "CAN WE HAVE MORE WATER PLEASE, NOW." then you could tell from her face that she understood.
for 4 people, weekend lunch, we tipped $5. HA. you stupid idiot, you make the rest of us Asian women look bad!
thank you and good bye.
OH YEAH, DON'T GO HERE, GO TO SUSHI 85!!!!!!!!!
But if you insist on going...read my first review below....

OMG! You can never have too much sushi but if you eat the all you can eat here...you kinda haveto. Just because it is actually too much. Too much sauce but somehow it's not satisfying. Even though it was saucy, it was not all that good. They have a variety of sushi so I guess you can choose a lot of rolls depending on what you like. OMG! I have to say, the service was TERRIBLE! We sat there for the longest time, extremely hungry. I tried to get a waitress by raising my hand or finger. The waitress looked at me and pointed to herself, mouthing the word"Me?" YES YOU! WTH! She turned around and walked away. She didn't even tell someone else or our server to help us. HOW RUDE! We were eating and I guess they were closing. We asked for two more rolls and they told us that the kitchen is closed. How come you guys can't tell us ahead of time and ask for any last orders? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Piss me off. Never again. The sushi made me not want to eat it for awhile and I still haven't ate any. I wouldn't say it's nasty but DO NOT MENTION THE WORD "SUSHI" TO ME. Give me a month and I shall be eating sushi again. Awful experience. If it wasn't for my group of 6, I wouldn't have paid tips but they make you pay gratuity for 6 or more people.LUCKY ****ERS!
Ever notice that when you go to an all you can eat sushi place, they take a LONG time to serve you the sushi you order? First, they give you water and hot tea. After 10 minutes, they take your order (3 items max at a time) and then you continue to wait. 10 minutes later they give you your salad. 10 minutes after that they give you the soup. Just as you think you've mastered the 10 minute increment waitlist, it takes them 15 minutes to bring out the sushi.
But I'm not stupid! I'll eat half my salad and soup so as to NOT get full!! Yay, I've cheated the system.
So sushi comes, and man, I'm thinking I'm so hungry I can order more! So like a beast, I quickly eat, then rest when I felt full and then resume. I'm full at this point, but I can't stop. So what do you do? Go to the restroom to make more room! I come back and think to myself, ok time to order again! Now, I'm ordering not only to get my money's worth, but because it's a matter about pride now. I know my 5 foot 115lb self can eat more!
Well what do you know? Second order of sushi comes fast! But behold, I was wrong. After 4 more pieces of sushi, I almost gag on the 5th piece. My fellow yelpers, don't do it! Eat what you can eat so you don't waste food! You think you can take the left overs home, but no! They charge you more to take it home! So you leave the restaurant thinking, "damn, I just wasted a whole lot of sushi."
Overall, sushi is ok; maybe even a little bit under average, but for $15 bucks?? Hell, I'd do it again :)
Here I was expecting this place to be off of 280 but it was more like off of 87. This place is in some plaza.
Sushi is okay here. It's the type were it could be a spot if you crave it but only if you live close or you want to eat a lot of sushi. It's either you'll like it or you don't. However, you are only coming here to stuff your face with sushi since it is All You Can Eat. The people I went, we didn't do the all you can it since we weren't sure whether or not we were going to be able to finish it all; plus, we were worried about all those fine prints that Leilani N mentioned. There's no need to pay for extra when you don't want too.
For the record, I do not like cream cheese in my sushi. I don't order it when I see the word cream cheese in it so I don't know what rolls have it. Anyway, my of my friends order the New Jersey Roll and I thought it was pretty good though. I barely tasted the cream cheese and it was fried with sauce on top.
I ordered Chirashi. Something tasted off about it and I'm thinking it's the rice. There were about 10-12 pieces of fish. That weird taste made me not want to eat it anymore. Also, the beef teriyaki was pretty good. I just think it need more teriyaki sauce. I'm the type to ask for more sauce since many places put very little.
Overall, just come for sushi.
I went there because my cousin has been trying to get me to go here forever. Five of us went for lunch to have the all-you-can-eat. $16 a person for lunch buffet.
He warned me about the no wasting and the hawk eyes to make sure we don't share(one [person got a bento) But told him "Relax. I do what I want." We had two rounds and there was no way we could even finish that. The sake was good. Big nigiri pieces, yum yum. The hamachi was gross. DON'T get that. I LOVE hamachi and I couldn't even stomach it. We had fried Cal Rolls, hawaiian, Alaska, Crazy Cal, and some others. Everything was pretty okay.
When we paid, they didn't yell at us for wasting, there wasn't much left anyways.I guess I would go again...if I haven't eaten in a week.
I went here for my first time for a double date. We planned to have the all you can eat deal. Unfortunately, none of us comepletely knew how the deal worked. The service was sooooooooo sloooooooooow. After our first round, it took forever to make the next order because our server wouldn't give us the stupid marker to make a tally mark on for the menu! -_-
The food was delicious. I can't remember everything we had but some of the rolls we had were The Lion King, and the Cobra? I forgot.
After our 3rd round, we received our check and it was ridiculous! O_o It was super expensive. We were really mad because they didn't explain to us how the all you can eat deal worked. No apology or anything.
Good food, bad service.
The all you can eat price is definitely worth it.
Tookmy roomie here for her birthday and was able to use the http://restaurant.com gift certificate but they may have discontinued the use of that.
For one price, you can order as many rolls as you like and up to three at a time. What we did is each order 3 different rolls and while it does take awhile our table was FILLED with sushi goodness. Pretty fresh ingredients, service not the best.
Overall, well worth the price but don't eat all day in order to get your money's worth :)
Service here is absolutely terrible. The waiters stare at you to make sure you aren't sharing your food with other members of your table, they never come over when you need them, and they're less than friendly when they actually DO come over. The man-waiter is unbelievably rude. He never smiles and acts like you're there to cater to his schedule. When you walk into the restaurant, any person who is at the host counter won't even acknowledge you until they're done with their paperwork. How frickin hard is it to just say, "Hi, I'll be with you in just a moment." ???? But no, they say absolutely nothing and don't even look at you. And I've been in here more than once and it's happened EVERY TIME.
As for their food, it's pretty mediocre. I've tried better at even better prices. The "all-you-can-eat" deal is a rip-off. The waiters try to fill you up with cheap, nasty miso soup so you won't order as much sushi. You're not allowed to take anything home either, and if you don't finish, they actually charge you extra.
The most infuriating part is that they actually have the balls to indicate how much you should tip them on the receipt. And they want 18% tip and charge a fee for large parties. Why they hell do they think they even deserve any tip when they give you terrible service?
I've never been in a restaurant that was so focused on making money. The employees at this restaurant are shameless.
Can somebody say SUSHI OVERLOAD!?
I wouldn't recommend getting the all-you-can-eat unless you can easily finish 3 rolls on your own. They mean serious business. You have to finish and you can't take off the rice or else they charge extra. Ridiculous, I know. Just know what you're getting yourself into and there will be no problems.
I came here with a group of 5 people and we ordered 8-10 rolls at a time along with 6-10 pieces of nigiri and we polished off TWO trays of sushi. I couldn't move afterwards. My faves were the lion king, dragon roll, snow crab, and cowboy roll. It's not the best sushi in the world, but if you came for quantity over quality, you're in the right spot.
I know everyone on here complains about the women's bathroom and how there's a random toilet right next to the sink without an actual stall around it, but here's the solution if you can't hold it and you're uncomfortable using it - LOCK THE MAIN DOOR. Duh?
I was expecting service to be horrendous, but it wasn't THAT bad. It wasn't 5-star quality service, but the waitress did her job and didn't piss anyone off. What more can I ask for at a sushi buffet? I had to question her about the 18% gratuity that was automatically added onto our tab, but since I used a http://restaurant.com certificate, the fine print stated that was one of the conditions for using the coupon. My bad for not reading.
I'll come back when I can shave off 10 lbs.
This review is in regards to the $25 All you can eat special, because this restaurant wouldn't even be worth reviewing for anything else.
I have been here over 6 times since 2004. The first visit was one of my first sushi experiences ever as a young adult and I thought this place was fantastic, but with every subsequent visit up to 2009, the experience has been declining.
The service is VERY SLOW. Even with several of our visit having no other customers but my friends and myself. The rolls are almost always the same, minus 1 ingredient or topping: every roll is a hidden california roll with a little something on top to disguise it! and EVERY roll is jam-packed with RICE, not very appetizing when you realized you've gotten full by eating bowls and bowls worth of rice in the form of enlarged sushi rolls!
But if you are a huge fan of california rolls anyway, I dont see why this place wouldnt be right up your alley. Smile sushi, Minato, and Cha Cha can feed you more sushi than you can eat for the price that Sushi Factory charges for their "All you can eat," except the former are all of better quality and variety.
Give this place at least one try, because it is a definite hit or miss. And just because it's all you can eat, don't believe you are getting your money's worth, especially when you are chowing down mostly rice, and the service is so slow that the rice will fill you up pretty fast.
15$ for all-you-can-eat sushi??? 'nuff said...i'm so there...(running theme here, starving broke college student...)
The deep fried rolls are absolutely AMAZING...just thinking about them makes me mouthgasm a little.
I absolutely love this place, i havent been there in a while but when i was there, it was amazing.
The rolls are huge and the fish is fairly fresh.
One negative thing i would say about this place is the service. The dinner and lunch deals are amazing, but whenever we ordered we had to wait for so long for our order to come out.
The food is great, if only there were better service, id give this place a 5 star for sure.
The sushi is pretty okay for all you can eat at a decent price. The service varies though.
There are some really nice workers here but there is one lady who always has a scowl on her face. My table was even scared to ask her to take our order after she forgot about us and served three other tables. Once, a couple of parties got in after our table and got all their food first and we didn't even make an order yet.
Three words....Sweet Potato roll.
I like this place. The service is not amazing, and the sushi is not Hanaya Yohei quality but it is good.
The price is great!
Ever hear the cliche, you get what you pay for? Well here at Sushi Factory you get what you paid for. I cam here with my brothers and sisters because we wanted to try their all you can eat sushi. They basically baste some fish over rice heavily in some heavy sauce and serves it to you. It fills you up really quickly. Its kinda funny how everyone that works there was Chinese as well. But anyways this is a great place to get super filled up on some cheap sushi. The Nigiri is pretty fair, as they give you a relatively huge chunk of fish on top of a huge chunk of rice. I don't think I'd really come back here unless, well, I'd rather pay more money for higher quality sushi. Sushi is one of those things I don't skimp on.
Go in a big group and try everything.
Some friends more experience in Sushi tell me that their sushi is not the best, but I do find it good, and the price of they all you can eat cannot be beat.
We usually go in a group of 4-8 people and always enjoy the experience and the food.
