Recently featured on Rachel Ray Super Dog has a lot to sink your teeth into. Nestled in the South Park blocks it's easy to miss this quaint establishment. The outdoor seating and being able to take your lunch to the park for a serene moment is wonderful. Inside they had a few tables and some bar stools and a large screen TV tuned to the news. Ketchup and mustard bottles are opportunely on most of the tables. I had the parmesan chicken sausage Portland style. The sausage was extravagant for a hot dog, the meat contained fresh spinach and mushrooms, the casing had snap to it with every mouthful. Portland style means they add onions, mushrooms and peppers on top. The bread was also first-class, warm, soft and chewy. Add a bottled water and the whole thing set me back about $7 + tip. They offer a variety of great toppings like coleslaw, Chicago relish, pickles and more. Check out their website for their menu.  I know I will walk over to Super Dog for a terrific lunch again soon.

Went here for lunch today, fun place. They have over a dozen different types of dogs, multiple toppings, and multiple types of mustard. I had the Nathan's original with chili & cheese. The buns were some of the best I've had; moist + chewy while toasted on the outside. Definitely going back sometime soon.

My friend was in town visiting and wanted to go to this cute hot dog joint up by PSU because she saw Rachel Ray bigmouth about it on the Food Network.  They carry an array of different sausages and dogs and lots of different ways to top it off.  I decided to get Nathan's all beef, Portland style.  Which is onions, bell peppers, swiss cheese and mushrooms, and topped it off with sweet mustard. They have about 7 different mustard options and all the fixings that you could want.  About 5 different hot sauces, jalapenos, relish, onions, kraut, and of course, ketchup.  A regular dog will run you about $3 and then extra for any toppings, soda or chips.  Overall my hot dog was very tasty, the joint was clean, and the service was smiling.  My only real complaint is that the bun was a little dry....I wish it could've been grilled.

A great place for any Hot dog lover to visit, with a great menu selection of different dogs, Great service and a few good beers to help wash down your meal. The prices are cheap and for PSU students its right off campus.

In my opinion you haven't  had a "good" hot dog  until you eat here.
