Authentic Mexican food, the chicken tacos are amazing and this place is not very expensive.

I usually 2 tacos which are small but they come with 2 tortillas each so its really like 4! The portions are great and the flavors are better, I love to put green-salsa on everything.

The guys don't speak a lot of English but they are fast, hard working, and always friendly. Everytime I am home I go visit them and grab a couple chicken tacos!

Pretty darn good. We go here often when in OC. There is better taqueria's in Portland. But this place is pretty good.
    Super tasty horchata.
No gauc, they have that runny sauce that some of the fast joints give you. Not a fan.
Not too much fresh cilantro on things, I always ask for extra.
    Breakfast burritos, pretty tasty.
    Good size portions.
Not super authentic, but good enough.

I don't know if it's because I'm used to Southern California standards or it was a day off for them....
I was really looking forward to my first Mexican food since moving to Oregon. It was the closest best-reviewed Mexican around our house. The building and the people definitely seemed to shout "authentic" Mexican food and I was excited about what might become my new local favorite Mexican food joint.

I ordered the carne asada burrito. I consider it a staple Mexican food and it's what I use to compare/grade Mexican restuarants. It was not good. It was actually bad. It had a funny taste to it, can't quite describe it. My wife had one bite and wouldn't finish her carne asada taco. The cheese quesadilla was very plain, without much flavor. The chicken enchiladas were so-so. The salsa and the avocado salsa were not bad.

Not sure if we ordered the wrong stuff or it was a bad day for them.... hard to think all the reviewers are so far off, but it was definitely a bad meal for my family and I. Like I said before, maybe it's the southern California standards we have.....

So maybe this is 3 1/2 stars, mostly because the facility is in pretty bad shape which makes me uncomfortable in a food establishment. But the portions were generous and the fillings were flavorful. We ate our food on the premises and there was a steady stream of folks coming in for take-out orders. I don't live in O-City, so I'm not a frequent diner, but this is a good place when I'm hankering for Mexican food and I'm in the neighborhood.

Best little Mexican restaurant around! the portions are huge, the prices are cheap and the staff is great. Everything tastes fresh and is full of flavor, it's all very hard to resist. Favourite Items: Chicken tacos, vege Nachos, pineapple tamales, beef tamales and fajita burrito!

Great tacos, good burritos, fast friendly service. It's a lunch staple. Doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside, for that matter) but the food is quite yummy.

Super Torta, oh how I love you.

If you're looking for a cheap, quick lunch in Oregon City, this is definitely the place to go.  I am absolutely addicted to their (giant!) burritos and at around $5 a piece and a million times more authentic, you will never want to set foot in a Baja Fresh or Chipotle again.  Aside from the fact that they all sell burritos, they've got nothing in common.

    Things to know:
    - Your first impression is probably going to be that this is not a place you want to eat at because it's pretty much a dive-y hole in the wall.  Ignore those instincts.  Really.  You won't be sorry.

    - There probably isn't anything that could be considered "healthy" on the menu.  Or maybe that's just because I go straight to the burritos.

    - They're always willing to customize my orders and I've ordered things that aren't on the menu before without any problem.  The service is incredibly friendly.

    - Their avocado sauce is complete crack.  I don't know how they make it or what's in it but I could eat it all day.

    - Sometimes there's a line but I swear they crank out food faster than most drive-throughs.  Even at their busiest, I've never had to wait more than ten minutes from the time I get in line to when I'm walking out with my food.

Ohhhh man. I could eat this everyday and never get sick of it. Any time I think 'oh yea Mexican could be good', I am affronted if anyone DOESN'T mention going to Super Torta. Or if they want to go to senor taco, which really is the lazy man's choice because it's closer. Shameful. Go to Super Torta.. every time. I get the special quesadilla and have yet to regret my decision. Cheap and way good. Better than 90% of the Mexican I've had in the Portland area. Besides King Burrito, I gotta give them props for a mean chicken quesadilla.

Awesome service, everyone is friendly and nice.  The place is small but surprisingly clean and well kept.

I can't say anything about other dishes because I just order my "Crispy Hard Shell Taco" $1.35 each YES, they are the bomb!!! :)

Good, cheap, filling burritos and friendly service. Most of the burritos are under $5, and are really two meals in one. Their tacos are also very good, but a little more expensive than at most food carts, but at under $2 I don't have a lot of room to complain.

If you are looking for good, cheap Mexican food in Oregon City, this is the place to go. They are usually pretty busy, but they are very fast at what they do. I have never waited more than 10 minutes, even when the place is packed.

Incredible flavor!  Very authentic and great prices!  They're very stingy with their salsa for some reason, but with a little extra effort, they'll stock you up.  Do yourself a favor and get the El Pastor burrito!  Addicting!  (I've only ever had their food take-out... no real seating or ambience in the restaurant)

Can't say enough good things about Super Torta! The smell attracted us in, as it is really "rustic" looking. We weren't disappointed!

The food is excellent and so cheap! Seriously, I can't make burritos at home for what I pay for one here (and theirs are much better!)

The food is great and the price is even better.  You can take a family of four here for lunch and get change from your $20 bill.  The tortas are huge and stuffed with lots of meat.  Hope you like onions!  The atmosphere is not what you go here for.  In the summer there is usually a picnic bench outside, or better yet, get it to go and walk over to the Carnegie Center park just a couple of blocks away.

I submitted a change request on the address.  I don't know if it used to be on Nonie Ct, but I have no idea where that is.  It's been on Washington Street (just north of 7th street) for as long as I can remember.

I've driven by this place for years and this time I finally stopped in.  After a brief internal debate I ordered the super burrito and I could hardly be happier for it.

The pink-hued interior is clean and very casual with a decor that could be summed up as 'piñatas y cosas'  The guys behind the counter were outgoing, helpful and FAST!  My super burrito was up before I could even sit at my table.

The burrito is yummy although somewhat salty and just because of its size it begins to fall apart if you're not vigilant.  I got a Dr. Pepper (I know, lame - shoulda gotta horchata) and the total came to all of $6.40 plus tip to completely stuff myself.

I thought it could make 2 meals of the one burrito and I probably should have but I compulsively ate the whole thing. So that should tell you something.  I mean about Super Torta, not about my lack of impulse control.

    Ok, seriously.

How can you NOT like Super Torta?

I know this is not particularly useful or funny or cool, but come on. If you go to Super Torta and don't like it...uuh...I don't even know how that would work.

(Side story: The owner of Super Torta recently came into my place of business and began chatting it up with one of my coworkers. When my coworker introduced me to the man, I absolutely melted. There were some laughs, yes, but meeting the man behind Super Torta was an incredible moment.)

This authentically great mexican joint is close to mi casa so waddling home after filling up on the Carne Asada burrito wasn't an issue. Funny that I have never been here before last night.

It's just a little spot, seating around 20-30 people. It's not the kind of place that you think of when you say you're going out to mexican food. No waiters, no cutesy decorations, no oversized margaritas (okay, that could be a drawback). Nope this is just genuinely good food. Walk up to the counter, order from a pretty good sized menu, fork over your dough and wait a short time for them to let you know your food is ready.

Oh and they offer both red and green sauce in squirt bottles to complement the meal. I ended up using a little of both on my burrito. Nice and spicy but with a great taste. Though my burrito didn't come with any sides, I was actually thankful of that as I had a hard time finishing the burrito all by itself. I swear the thing weighed about 2 pounds. And just $5.40!

I would have given them five stars except for the smallish styrofoam cups used to get your own water from a five gallon Igloo cooler. I tend to drink a lot of water so several trips to the cooler wasn't exactly the thing I wanted to do while eating my meal. Plus stryofoam in general is not my preferred choice of beverage holder.

Torta must be a format of Mexican restaurantiership. I'm not sure where it comes from (besides Mexico, duh) but it's brilliant. King Torta out in Banks is amazing. Now that I've had opportunity to spend years sampling Portland Mexican via Taco carts, Authentica, Neustre Cucina, Fonda Rosa, and the sorely missed Taqueria Nueve, I know what I like.

This is it. Torta style places seem to have a nearly identical menu even if unrelated. Simple mexican fare, Tacos, Burritos, one style of Enchiladas, Nachos, and of course some kind of pulled pork Torta. The beauty of this simplicity is that it's consistently good and reasonably priced.

Super Torta lives up to their examples and has fantastic food. The tacos are under $2 bucks and like most of these places one Taco is intended for mitosis. Divide it up on the two tortillas it comes with and you'll be stuffed after a couple of these. Add rice and beans for about another $1 and you're set.

Casual, fast, authentic, good ingredients. That's what makes Super Torta stand out. Whenever I joyfully take down a meal at a place like this I dwell in the happiness that I didn't spend the same $5-7 somewhere like Subway, Chipotle, or (insert chain restaurant).

If you're down on Division in Oregon City, this is one of the places to go for your quick tasty mexican food addiction.

Yummy mexican food! It's just a cute lil hole in the wall taco shop. The staff is very friendly and it seems like they always have mexican music playing in the kitchen so it's kinda entertaining to listen to all of  them sing. Price range is very reasonable I think I paid 8 bucks for a burrito but it was huge! Definately check it out. good place for lunch.
