Yum yum!
This was the first food I bought home when I moved to ATX. I've only had the breakfast burritos (specifically, the vegetarian Country Burrito). Really yummy potatoes in that puppy. Delicious salsa. -

I've been back to Super Burrito now a few times, and it's been pretty swell. I am mildly obsessed with the latina taco and their queso. And if I'm feeling extra fatty, a churro. Mmmmm.
Really, I would give Super Burrito four stars, except their sign above their drive thru window: "God Knows When YOU Don't Tip!"
With a rough sketch of a godly figure and a clip art finger pointing at me.
Uh, you're a drive thru. Pretty sure everyone that works their makes a livable wage. I am not tipping because you bring me a taco. And I'm pretty sure God is ok with that...Listed in: The South Side, texmex & mex

I love Super Burrito!
They have authentic San Diego style Mexican food!! It is nearly impossible to find this style of food in Texas. My recommendations are the San Diego burrito, Texas burrito, or the Carne Asada plate. The sauces are spicy, the service is friendly, and the restaurant is always clean.
This little hole-in-the-wall is in my top five Austin restaurants. -

So I don't make it to the east side of 35 often, but my friend said I just gotta try this place. And that's saying a lot cuz' she's a vegetarian. It's a little shoddy on the outside but a lot of great hole-in-the-wall places are. It's super clean on the inside. We decided to go through the drive through that day because let's face it, I was a lazy ass and didn't want to get dressed.
The guy at the window who was the owner was super nice and witty. I ordered the Super Burrito with barbacoa and a side of their green salsa. The thing was the size of my face and I have a pretty fat face. I decided not to be a glutton that night (a rarity) and made my burrito stretch for 2 meals. The ingredients were all delicious, fresh, perfect meat to veg ratio and the barbacoa was flavorful and moist. I was truly surprised at how good this burrito was. Their prices are comparable to Chipotle's but I'd personally rather support a local business. The salsa was damn good too, just the right amount of heat.
I take away 1 star because I'd really like to see this place succeed, and I think they would fare better if their prices were lower than their competitor's. And I'd like to see chips on the menu. That being said, I'll be back to stuff my fat face. -

I love this place. Great carne asada tacos, and pure sugary sodas (no HFCS). I always order the Tejana Taco, nothing else. Ever. I don't know if the guacamole is homemade, but the taco, I dig.

Super burrito is the only worthy place of getting a burrito in Austin, Chile relleno with rice and beans and guac. Knocked it out the park. You cant find achile relleno burrito any where in austin but here. Give them a try, nice folks too and a clean establishment. Stay away from the corporate burritos!

Super Burrito looks a little scary on the outside. It is one of those places that when you see it you think it will either have the best damn burritos or the worst damn burritos. Luckily it is the former.
Hey, they have a lot of competition. I don't know any other city in the nation with as many burrito/taco trucks/trailers/restaurants/shacks than Austin, TX. Would I drive out of my way to come to Super Burrito? No. But luckily I live close to here.
The burritos are very big much like the namesake. They are affordable at $3-$4 a piece. This is what I would stick with when ordering. As everybody has stated they have very yummy breakfast stuff and they will keep you full for a very long time. My fave is the country burrito which has egg, cheese and potato.
PS: Their hot sauce is HOT. Like H-O-T hot. I love spicy stuff and have a mouth made of lead but even a small bit of this stuff has me running for cover. Be careful. -

Went back to SB for some breakfast tacos because Vic's BBQ is closed on Sundays. They are both close to my house. Went to the drive thru and was warmly greeted by a beautiful, brown eyed goddess who took my order. Ordered 3 tacos with "chorizo and egg" but rec'd tacos with some specs of cheese and egg. Obviously my new love misunderstood me and my very Anglo appearance and northeastern accent. She could have assumed I said "cheese" instead of "chorizo" because how many Anglos know what chorizo is. I've had some consistent problems ordering fast food from drive thru windows. Ask me to tell you some stories about ordering food in New Orleans and down close to Mexico in Harlingen. I'm so misunderstood!
Must be friends and family members writing the positive reviews here because the tacos were edible but nothing special. There was no chorizo, very little cheese and the tortilla had obviously been thru the microwave because it had that rubbery taste and texture to it. Even Whataburger is way better.1 Previous Review: Show all »

San Diego, CA
Im from San Diego, Ca... the original birth place of the phenomenal, exquisite, cant-live-without-it, fantastic dish called Carne Asada Fries. When I found out that this place served "Cali-Style" Mexican food, I had to try it. So me and my lady drove down from Fort Hood to try it out.
BLADOOWWW SON!!! It was awesome. The portions aren't as big as they serve in good ole San Diego but it matched pretty well with taste.. even the hot sauce was good! I see weekly trips to Austin just to get some fries from this place, maybe even a burrito. We'll see...
Other than that, it reminds me of the taco shops of SD big time... Doesnt look like anything special from the outside, inside neither, but the food overshadows that fact big time. Also, it looks to be family owned, by a Greek family I think, oddly enough... very friendly service though. I recommend.
Cheers.
Oh, and the Churro's were pretty bomb-diggety as well. -

Sorry yelpers! This place is NOT cool, funny, or useful. I got very ill after I ordered the worst excuse for a slice of tilapia taco ever! We had the most bland, awful, and overpriced food I have ever gotten. The taco tasted like fish food covered in metallic cabbage covered in plastic. I cannot go back. We tried the fries even, but again, so bland. Not worth it and I am still literally a bit sick over it. There is only parking on that one side too, the parking lot is like a circular maze. I cannot even go there, so I literally will not. Sorry. Booo!!!! -

Thank you, Yelpers, for helping me find this place. I normally would have NEVER tried this joint, but once I saw the good reviews and their website, I had to try it. So today at lunch, I drove the mile or so down the road to check it out.
First of all, ** THE BEANS ARE VEGETARIAN!!! *** Yes they are, fellow veggiefolk out there! I got the "Jolly Green Giant" veggie burrito and the bean and cheese. They were both pretty good size. The veggie is on a spinach tortilla with 3 kinds of beans - black, white and pinto. Plus there's potato, mushrooms and all sorts of veg goodness. Pretty damned tasty. The plain bean and cheese is quite good, too, pretty standard.
They have 2 kinds of salsa, your green tomatillo and red chili which looks like it might have just a touch of habanero. VERY good. Yes, I will be back!! Why not 5 stars? For a vegetarian, there really aren't many other choices besides your breakfast tacos. Perhaps I will update this status if I ever order cheese enchiladas, but so far, I certainly rate this joint pretty high on my list of standards! I wanted to get the horchata, but all they serve it is in a large 32 oz cup. Too much drink, so I declined... this time.
Do NOT let the cheesy, tacky bright yellow building and signage keep you away. It really is pretty good -- certainly beats Taco Bell/Cabana any day. -

Super Burrito is in my hood. It's a love, hate relationship. I love their breakfast tacos & hate that my clothes are fitting more snug. I usually order the potato, egg & cheese taco with their red salsa. So good. My girls love their bacon, egg & cheese taco. If I'm not going to have lunch, I order the Country burrito (potato, egg & cheese) but it's HUGE. It really will be your breakfast/lunch and only about $3.50! cheap
I tried them for dinner one night & can't say it was very good. I'll stick to breakfast tacos. They have amazing breakfast tacos & burritos.
If you are looking for a snack, they also have a California churro. All the hot & sweet churro goodness you know & love filled with creme. Oh so good.
Please check them out & give them some breakfast taco love. You will be happy you did. -

Three words. CARNE ASADA FRIES.
While visiting my boyfriend who is stationed in Ft. Hood, we decided to spend the weekend in Austin. We both are from San Diego, CA which is the motherland of carne asada fries. He hasn't had any in awhile so we went here and it is AWESOME! I think its about $5 and the portion is small (compared to how it's done in SD) but it's just the right size for me to finish all by myself. The hot sauce that they have is spicy and is awesome as well. I can't wait to go back to Texas! -

This place is awesome! I'm in town for a conference and I needed something close to my hotel, so I got out my trusty old YELP app on my phone and found this place less than a quarter mile away. I pulled in the parking lot and this place looked like a dive. I mean really ugly. But it had a drive-thru and I was tired, so I pulled around the side to the window. The menu was completely overwhelming! There were so many different types of burritos and plates, etc. that I was completely clueless. I heard the carne asada fries (or "California Fries" as they call them) were good, so I decided to just get those.
I pull up and this older gentleman with a thick accent greets me at the window. He is very nice and patient. He asked me what I was in the mood for and told me what was good. He didn't rush me and it felt as though he actually cared about what I wanted - what a change from the status quo of cheapy restaurants these days!
So I sat in my car and waited. And waited. And waited. This place is not quick, by any means. There was some entertainment as I sat there though (I like to people watch). I saw the older man greet a younger man and hug him (I'm guessing he's the older man's son). The younger man brought me my drink and he was equally as nice and chatty.
Then I got my food and went on my way. When I dug into those fries, I mean I really dug into those fries. First of all, I had asked the man how big the fries were before hand. His hand gestures looked pretty big (I figured he was exaggerating), but when I opened that take-out container, wow was there a lot of food! And it was amazing!
I had the carne asada fries (crisp french fries with marinated steak thinly sliced on top along with melty gooey cheese. This along with a drink the size of my head was $5.50. Can't beat that. And it really filled me up.
Next time your in the area, you have to try Super Burrito! -

I eat here a lot. They're conveniently located 1 block from my house and 1 mile from my job.
The food tastes great and the ingredients are quality. Don't be intimidated by the menu, they will make you a burrito with anything you want. Just tell them what you're in the mood for.
The staff is awesomely friendly. Especially the elder gentleman, who I think might be the owner. There's also a younger fellow who's easy on the eyes. -

First time going here. It's now in my worktime neighborhood. As NoCal transplants (I know, I know...), we've been looking for some California Mexican food here is Austin. Super Burrito is close.
Thanks for offering Carne Asada and getting it right! It's bits of steak grilled at high heat, not a thin, single piece of steak crammed into a burrito. Had the Carne Asada Super Burrito for $5.99. Great deal, as I could nowhere near finish it all. The ONLY thing that keeps me from giving this 4 stars is this...nowhere in California will you find a burrito with queso on it instead of real cheese!!! It's wrong, wrong, wrong...put real shredded cheese on and just see the difference! Great hot sauces, also! The man behind the counter was extremely nice and service was fast and friendly.
Gonna try the San Diego burrito with Carne Asada and french fries next! -

I've driven past Super Burrito for the last 6 months on my way home from work and have always laughed at the ridiculous name/sign/everything. The exterior is so run down looking that I couldn't figure how it stayed open, so...I went to my trusty Yelp. The reviews were shockingly good. So good that I tried it for breakfast this last Sunday. All I can say is...WOW. Yelp reviewers are right on. It is very tasty.
My boyfriend ordered a Jamaica aqua fresca, bacon and egg taco, and a Champ taco. I got 2 Chorizo Special tacos on corn tortilla. I have to say, some of the best breakfast tacos I've ever had in Austin. Fresh, hot, spicy and flavorful. The aqua fresca was the size of my head...so refreshing and perfect. Tacos come with 2 types of salsa (red and green) that are not too spicy, just enough. The servers at the drive thru were very friendly and quick. I love it. It's the perfect place to go on a weekend day in you pjs for some great Mexican food to take home.
Can't wait to go back and try the lunch items. Great experience. Love it! -

I love tacos. And queso.
Here I ordered some standard breakfast fare tacos: bean and cheese, potato, bacon, and cheese, barbacoa, al pastor. The salsa was delicious, as were the tacos and queso ($1.75?1) it was fast and cheap- can't beat a taco drive-thru in your jammys on a Sunday morning. -

I've lived in Austin three years now and I've dropped 20 pounds clearly from just not eating California burritos for dinner every night. I drove by this place two years ago and thought
"Huh, this place looks like home, I should go there" but for some reason I never did, it was too out of the way from Hyde park where I lived at the time. I finally, 2 years later got around to trying this place out after curiously reading reviews on Yelp. Everyone boasted California style mexican food and I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT. The first time I went the guys told me it was SAN DIEGO style mexican food, which in fact is very different from any other mexican food in all of California, the best really. They didn't have a California burrito listed, which is made up of the following: Cane asada, salsa fresca, guacamole, cheddar cheese, sour cream and shoestring french fries all wrapped up in a big flour tortilla. San Diego Mexican food also has it's own type of "sauce". It's not salsa, per se, and it's not simply hot sauce, but more of a hybrid. You can't find it anywhere but in sleazy 24 hour taco shops all over San Diego. I had them build me up a California burrito, which ended up costing me about 8 dollars. They do have a "Texas burrito" which is on a chipotle tortilla and has potatoes instead of french frie, which doesn't sound as good. The burrito came wrapped in foil, which was WEIRD, because usually they come wrapped in yellow butcher paper and stuck in a paper sack. The foil is terrible, because it holds moisture in and makes the tortilla soggy, which is unfortunate because I had a long drive back from South Austin to the Cherrywood hood. It also came placed in one of those paper bowl/boats. I ate it, it was good. I was sad about how small it was, but my stomach is not used to those 1.5 lb burritos anymore so I was super stuffed after eating it all. They did a good try on the sauce, the red was oookay, but the green was closer to authentic. They were really nice. The second time I went I picked up two self-built Cali burritos again and the owner tried to stiff me on the salsa. Only two per customer, he said. He charged me 20 cents extra per salsa, which I begrudgingly paid because it's absolutely necessary. That pissed me off pretty badly, but the burrito was again delicious, but overpriced. The THIRD time I came I ordered just a carne adada burrito in an effort to not pay for another 8 dollar burrito, and as I pulled up to the window to pay, I saw a beautiful sign that read "San Diego burrito NEW: $5.99!" I can't wait to go again. SUPER DELICIOUS BURRITO. Displaced San Diegans and Californians HAVE to try this place for sure. -

First off, this place is misnamed -- it shouldn't be called "Super Burrito" but instead "Super Taco." Why? Because their signature "super burrito" is way over priced for what you receive, and not worth checking out.
It's not that the food is bad. Actually, their food is okay. But to get a really good deal here, you have to study the menu. Unfortunately, my first time here for lunch I was in a rush and just ordered the restaurant's namesake. For the price, I was expecting something the size & quality of Chipotle or Freebirds: I could have eaten at either of those locations for about the same dollar value. But when I unwrapped the foil, I was very underwhelmed, under impressed.
The tacos & combo plate here are very reasonably proportioned for the price. I ended up ordering a barbacoa taco after I finished with the "super burrito" since it didn't satisfy my appetite. I could have ordered about 4 moderately-sized tacos or a Taco-Cabana-like plate off the menu for what I spent on the one burrito & drink.
Most reviews on here rave about the breakfast tacos. I haven't tried them yet, but for a price of $.92-$1.50 that's not a bad deal. But next time I'm in the neighborhood and craving something quick to tide me over until after I get done with class & work, I will definitely not get the burrito. Maybe a few tacos to take to go. -

There are so many things to order from, tacos, tortas, flautas, chimichangas, breakfast tacos, and now gyros. Quick lunch, snack or dinner is just a perfect place. Also have churros if you like sweets. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Great service and nice inside this small establishment. They pretty much are willing to modify your order as you want. Love it! Must try! :)

At first we were afraid to try this place but after hearing about a friend who liked it so much, they drove over there just to get the food, we decided to try it. My BF and I split the Texas Cheesesteak Burrito. While it was a little expensive, it was big enough for the two of us, mainly because it was so decadently cheesy, meaty, mushroomy and filled with grilled onions, it was pretty filling. I was glad we did not each try to get one of our own. Since this was our first trip there, we don't know much about anything else they serve, though the gyro burrito was the thing that first piqued our interest. I am giving it four stars because it was really tasty - the queso was not weak nor was it too thick and "plasticky" - just a tad bit overpriced and maybe a little bit too dangerous for the old arteries.

OMG The Super Nachos are to die for...with carne asada please....There are definitely some values on this menu...but the burritos are pretty overpriced...though tasty.
It is a great place in the morning because you can get breakfast tacos for a buck after tax. Well worth the 30 second detour off of I-35, imo. The owner is there and he kinda creeps me out he is so friendly, but I have never had an order turn up wrong. The salsas are grand. If you are craving nachos, this is your place. -

Yay!! Super Burrito is where it's at, kids. I called in an order for a poblano burrito (chile relleno stuffed with cheese with guacamole and pico de gallo), and 5 minutes later I was the lucky owner of said lunch.
But you guys: it was better than expected! The delicious, thin flour tortilla'd burrito looked like it had been toasted after rolled on the griddle to achieve extra flavah, and the dude in the window hooked me up with limes, two types of delicious sauces, and plenty of napkins. Once back at the office, I sat at my desk making 'mmm' noises as I hoovered that burrito. Thing is, it was the perfect size-- just longer than my hand in length, but not huge in girth like Chipotle or Freebird's.

I live a couple of minutes away from Super Burrito and it has saved me from "I don't feel like eating breakfast but I have to because it's good for you" feeling. You go through the drive thru and it's not a conventional drive thru like McDonalds or any of your typical fast food places. You look at the menu and you drive up to the window and place your order.
It sucks if you have a crappy short - short - short term memory and you forgot what you wanted. But I had egg and potato breakfast taco and it's decent. It's nothing to be overly impressed about. The potato was very bland and even when I put it in hot sauce, the hot sauce is okay but the potato is still bland.
I'll definitely give it a try again. They also have Mexican coca cola which peaked my interest and will definitely try that soda too. -

These breakfast tacos blow my mind and their salsa is most delicious. My friend and I got 2 potato, egg, and cheese tacos each and we were depressed that we didn't get 5 each. The way the flour tortilla was toasted really made a difference to how the cheese melted. Then you throw in the drive-thru and life just got better.
One warning: if they ask if you want to try their new fried dessert that has caramel and nuts on it, don't do it. It tasted like it was spritzed with 409 and Windex. -

What is better to enjoy on this Earth then a drive through SLOPPY Mexican restaurant that is NOTHING like Taco Cabana? SUPER BURRITO....
I was referred to Super Burrito by my boss who told me that for the best authentic Mexican food you can get, you should always visit the smaller taco stands and in this case, drive through taco stand.
I pulled up to Super Burrito looking for some Authentic Mexican food.... no tex-mex for me. I wanted some spice, real salsa's made by some small Mexican lady in the back who puts her heart and soul in everything she makes.
When I pulled up, I decided to sit down and eat at one of the small picnic tables out front. I waited a good ten minutes before someone came to the window, but in their defense, they had the window shut because it was the first day of cold weather and they were trying to keep the inside of their small building warm. There was an older lady in the back just cooking away and finally she realized I was at the window gently knocking. A man came to the window when she summoned him and my boyfriend and I began to order.
I decided to pick (from the LARGE MENU) a chicken taco and an order of beef enchilada's. My boyfriend had pretty much one of everything. The man told me that I could then get my enchilada's as a dinner with rice and beans, which I was very happy to try-out. I waited a short while for my food to be prepared and brought out to us. When everything arrived they brought us two kinds of salsa's (one green tomato/tomatillo and VERY HOT, and the other more of a gravy but spicy salsa). I started eating my burrito's but soon realized I had gotten cheese instead of beef. I told the man as he came back with my taco's and when I offered him my plate back, he told me to keep it and enjoy it anyway and they would make me a fresh plate with my beef burrito's. I ended up taking half of my food home I had so much. My boyfriend had (that I can remember) Nacho's and beef Quesadilla's.
I think that my meal tasted just as good the next day reheated in the oven. The service was friendly and they offered to fix everything when they made a mistake, but I must recommend checking everything before you leave the drive through if thats the route you took. They give you plenty of salsa so you should be fine without asking for extra.
Make sure you check out this small little authentic Gem in Austin. It appears to be a hole in the wall place, but you can see their kitchen and everything was clean while I was there......and small and hole in the wall just mean real and tasty to me. -

Holy cows this place has probably my favorite burritos in town. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet.
Try the Breakfast Burrito or the Chile Relleno burrito. The relleno is cheese stuffed in a chile, fried, and thrown with guacamole into a tortilla shell. It is the most delicious, fatty burrito I've ever eaten. Granted, it should only be eaten once per month, but still.
The salsa's are delicious. They have a wide variety of aguas frescas to help wash down the food, too.
The place is not exactly the most dazzling, but I don't mind since I like sitting outside. I really wish they used a less sticky paint on the tables, though. Its rather disturbing.
My biggest complaint is that they don't seem too environmentally conscious. Drinks are served in styrofoam, as are to-go boxes. They don't have any recycling (there is nothing to recycle). At least if you eat it there, the burrito just comes in a wax paper shell. Styrofoam, though? Haven't we known how bad it is for like 20 years? Hopefully they'll change the cups to something more Austinite-concious-friendly. -

Even though I haven't tried the burrito at Super Burrito, I am addicted to the Torta Adobada they offer. I have traveled to El Paso, San Antonio in search for a similar torta but Super Burrito is the only place in the entire continental USA that knows how to prepare it True Mexican Style. I am not from Mexico, Actually from Southern Brazil and I can guarantee this Torta is by far the best thing I ever ate.
3.99 a piece, usually i get 2 with lots of spicy green sauce and red sauce and a Grapefruit Jarrito!

I've only tried this place once. I ordered the carne asada fries which were pretty decent. The fries were a little undercooked but the carne asada was good.
Service could definitely use some improvement. I went in the middle of the day, when there were no other customers. My boyfriend and I went inside. We waited. And waited. And waited. Knocked on the window where you order numerous times but no one answered. We gave up but decided to try the drive thru. The employee finally came to the window and took our order. Even when we were finally able to get service, it wasn't anything spectacular.
I don't think I'll write off this place just yet. Maybe I just went at the wrong time. -

I found myself over on Oltorf tonight and was wondering how my old pal Super Burrito was doing. Whoa. Slow down. The sign says they now have gyro meat burritos?!!? Sounds like a disaster in the making. I had my heart set on a fish burrito, but decided to give the gyro burrito a go. I'm happy to report, it is very good! It's basically just a gyro but in a flour tortilla. And flour tortillas are so close to pita bread or whatever gyros are wrapped in that it's not that far of a stretch. The only ingredients are grilled onions and tomatoes, tahini sauce and of course piping hot gyro meat. I was a little worried I wouldn't like it so I ordered a fish taco as well. With salsa added on, it was excellent.
All burritos are now combo meals with a soft drink and fries. The fries aren't anything great. Kind of greasy and soft. I'm not deducting a star for that because come on, it's a burrito place. Who goes there for the fries?
Also, they now serve Mexican Coke!!! A 24 case of the large ones were sitting on the floor staring back at me making my sugar levels explode! Seeing their almost fully stocked sliding glass door drink cooler with the liquid gold made me want to buy one for my kitchen.Listed in: Some of my regular stops that…

I love burritos from almost everywhere but Super Burrito has an odd charm to it. Maybe its the convenient location to my work or the fact that the people are always super nice, hell maybe its the fact that they make a damn good burrito I don't know. I eat here pretty often because they are close to my work and I can order my food when I get in my car and it is ready right when I get to the window. Every time I go the owner/manager?!?!? comes to the window and shakes my hand and asks how my day is going, now this has nothing to do with the food it sure does make me feel good about going there and that is something right.
The super burrito is well super it is massive and the tortilla is a strong flour variety that doesn't fall apart the way others do. My only complaint and it is minor is that there is a noticeable size difference between the Super Burrito and say the Texas Burrito. Not to say that the others are small but I guess being a Texan I want a bigger Texas Burrito but maybe that would take away from the charm of the Super Burrito, but I have digressed. So I will leave you with one final thought.
If you have ever thought you know what would make this burrito better.... a side of fries!!! Then this is the place for you, while it is hands down the oddest thing I have seen for a side at a Burrito place the fries are good and a suprisingly good fit at a great price. -

Where else can you get a HUGE BREAKFAST BURRITO and a GIANT ASS HORCHATA for less than $5 !?
I ordered the 'Country' breakfast burrito. It consisted of potatoes, cheese, and egg wrapped up in an enormous hot flour tortilla. I'm used to eating a couple of dinky breakfast tacos in the morning so when I ordered a burrito here, it pretty much owned me. I'm a pretty small person so it's easy to make two meals out of one burrito. :D
Try your burrito with the green and the red sauce (uber HOT). Both are great compliments to your burrito and leave you sniffling because it's SO GOOD.
Super Burrito is mainly a drive-thru establishment but they do offer a couple of patio tables. Because the food is made it order, you do sit around for a while but it's well worth it!! -

I live just down the street from this place and have always been a little skeptical. Something about the logo maybe.
In gym class, somebody was talking about Super Burrito. I decided that I had to try it if Mr. Super Fit liked it so much.
So, after struggling to find something "diet" on the menu (what was I thinking?), I gave up. That's right. Threw in the towel and ordered a Chile Rellano Burrito.
Sweet Mother of God, that was one good burrito. I wasn't crazy about the bland red sauce that they offered me, but it all worked out... seeing as the burrito was perfection in itself.
I did try the carne asada fries. I wouldn't recommend them. My main problem when I get stuff on my fries is that the fries get soggy. So, maybe this isn't Super Burrito's fault. I just ate all the meat off, anyway. -

This place has the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had. Their was almost no meat and about 4 pounds of dry eggs in this thing. AVIOD like the plague.

Californians take note: in four years living in Austin, this is the ONLY place I have found where you can order a CARNE ASADA BURRITO. It is DIFFERENT than the c.a.b.'s native to Cali, but it is still FREAKING GOOD. Rejoice, transplants, it's gonna be ok!

When I first moved to the east Oltorf area, I tried this place and didn't have a good experience, probably because I was not "ready" for Super Burrito. They also gave me a burrito that only had chicken in it and I was like...where's the rest of it!
BUT...I went back today and tried it again. And the other reviewers on Yelp are right - Yum!!! I got a spicy chicken Super Burrito - same price as Chipotle but leaving me way more satisfied. You can tell the tortilla is made from scratch as it makes all the difference. The girl who helped me was really nice and friendly and my food was ready in 4 minutes even though 2 big cars were ahead of me. A+ burrito...JUST STAY OPEN LATER!!!!
