Locally owned. Great service. I wish all shipping/mailbox places were this good.
I am staying in the neighborhood and had to ship something fragile and oddly shaped home. The guy (owner?) used pieces of cardboard, paper, tape, and a box to protect my items. I was impressed. He had a mirrored computer display that faced me so I could watch as he filled out the addresses and make any corrections. He then pulled up a side by side price comparison of FedEx and UPS so I could choose. USPS even came in to pick up while I was being helped. It took the guy away from my order for about 10 seconds but he still apologized for the interruption. I would go here before going to FedEx or UPS because of the superior service. -

I can't begin to explain in words how great Gerry has been to me at Sunset Mailboxes over the years. How about the first time I ever walked in the store and I was late due to me goofing off all day to send out an important package (usual M.O. for me) as I arrived to store late with package, not even in a box or taped up... and certain to feel wrath of my employer over this, Gerry quickly taped up box and James, the co-owner of Sunset mailbox literally got in his own car drove through rush hour traffic and caught up with the FedEX guy to make sure my package got out that day (seriously!)? Try doing that at ANY of the other shipping stores... Or how every time I walk in the store, Gerry works hard to save me $. Anytime, for whatever reason (usually due to my travel) that I use an establishment other then Sunset Blvd for shipping it's a cruel financial & customer service reminder that there is only 1 Sunset Blvd Mailboxes Postal Service. It doesn't get better then Gerry and James, hands down.

Gerry and his crew have been managing my mailbox and mailing needs for years. I've moved further away, and it's still worth going over there. They are kind, convenient, helpful, understanding, thorough, knowledgable, a good value... I could go on and on. I recommend this place more than any other establishment in Los Angeles. It's rare to find such wonderful people and such excellent service at the same time. I consider this my luckiest find so far.

I have a small business in Hollywood around the corner from this store. I love it not only for the convenience of being able to walk from the office, but because of the customer service I receive each visit. Gerry is the greatest help and he always has a warm smile! It's a pleasure to do business with Him!

Sunset mailboxes is great! It's in a really convenient location to stop and get your mail any time day or night. The customer service is great! they send notices to your email and phone when you receive a package so you know that you can go pick it up right away. The packages I get always stay safe and secure until I pick them up and it's simple and quick to mail anything from there! The address you use for your mail there looks very expensive and professional being on Sunset Blvd in LA. Me and two of my friends also use the same place for our mail.
