Ahem, I'd like to give some serious props to Donna Sachet, the hostess of Sunday's A Drag! She kept the audience lively and didn't mind me hooting and hollering. She approached our table at one point after stating she need to visit the troublemakers. A woman after my own black heart. Well a man dressed as a woman after my own black heart. Either way works for me.
My mom and I went to the first seating a few Sundays ago. We enjoyed the brunch which was always well stocked with fresh, hot food (the usual suspects: french toast, eggs bennie, bacon, sausage, potatoes, prime rib carvery, omelette station, pastries, devilled eggs, fruit, cheese, coffee, tea, etc.) I didn't mind that the blinds were down as it was sunny as fuck outside and I hate the sun. Plus the view though nice can be seen from a lot of other vantage points in the city, more or less.
The drag show started right at noon and featured Miss Tia, Cassandra Cass and Holotta Tymes, as well as Donna singing intermittently too. Great costumes, kickass performances (the ladies were really working it! I was exhausted at the end), and lots of love to their audience at the end.
A great time! I've been recommending it to a lot of people back home here in Seattle.
