I'm not sure why I was drawn to this place while driving by on my nice Cape Cod vacation, but my family stopped there and we each got some ice cream and for some reason it was a memorable time.

There's not much to say about this place, and I'm sure most normal people wouldn't have a memorable time like I did. But simply because I did, I gave it 5 stars.

It was delicious--but then again, when you are me, ANY ice cream is delicious...

With loads of ice cream places on the Cape, this one stands out! Make sure you pay it a visit! Its small inside but has loads of flavors and the service is friendly and fast!

I can't quite decide what makes this ice cream so amazing.  I think it has something to do with the fact that I crave it the moment I hit the Sagamore Bridge.  And with the fact that I can never decide between the flavors, and usually have to get two scoops and come back for a second trip later in the weekend.  I'm partial to RazOreo (in part because a friend of mine invented it when she worked here, I suppose), Banana Oreo, and Orange Dream, and any of their coffee flavors (mm coffee heath), especially drenched in hot fudge and topped with a real cherry.  The long summer lines move super quick - be patient because it's worth it.

**This location has lots of outdoor seating and clean restrooms inside.

One of the greatest ice cream places ever. It's traditional, home made, artisinal Cape Cod style ice cream in a litany of amazing flavors, including coffee oreo (YUM), mocha chip, bass river mud, etc. So much to choose from, tons of special flavors, sundays (/obviously), floats, and everything else ice cream related yumminess. They make their ice cream by hand every day, and it is far superior to any "premium" ice cream from any commercial producer.

While on the Cape it would be a sin to frequent any sort of corporate business (Ben and Jerrys).  Sundae School is one of those unique treats you look forward to all year.  I could go there every night I'm on vaca and try a different concoction.

The college kids that work there are fast and friendly, never flustered at the constant crowds.  There are a few tables inside and lots of picnic tables outside.  The player piano just adds to the ambiance.

Most overrated place our family has seen in a long time.  The ice cream was served with an insufficient temperature so it instantly turned to mush.  The different flavors tasted the same with hardly any of the mix-in ingredients.  The price for the serving was ridiculously expensive.  Very, very disappointed as with the reviews we were expecting much more.  Highly discourage folks from going to this place as there are other places out there that are far better on the cape.  Not sure who votes in those 'best of' categories, but they are way off.  There are other family owned one store ice cream shops that are more unique than this multi-location operation.
