Although I miss the one on Rt. 22 in springfield, this one is my new spot for when I want really thin crust pizza.
grab a seat at the bar to watch a game, grab a pitcher of beer, and order a pizza. you will not be disappointed.
this is one place that is not trying to be be upscale NYC. it is dark and old inside, but the food and service are always great -

This is the original Sun Tavern and, like the other reviewers said, you come here for the pizza! If you like thin crust, this place is the best around. Like Ashley said the Old World style is very good...probably my favorite too. They also have other Sun Taverns in Roselle Park and Scotch Plains/Fanwood and they're all very good. If you don't like thin crust, however, stay away or order something else. Their Buffalo wings are very good too. Great place to grab a beer and watch the game too...huge local crowd and a lot of regulars. If you go to watch football at any of the lopcations on a Sunday get there early or you'll never get a seat. Every one gets packed.
