Fully stocked ski, snowboard, and water sports store across from the Kenwood Towne Center (next to Trio).  

Sun and Ski always has the hard to find brands and equipment, but you will pay top dollar for your purchases.  I don't know if this is a result of the company (there are several other stores in Texas, Florida, and Georgia) or the area of town that this particular location is in.  

Because of the high prices, I have personally only shopped at Sun & Ski for apparel.  I have quite a few pairs of ski gloves and hats from the store that have proved to be particularly durable.  If you shop at Sun & Ski in the off-season for whatever equipment you want (read:  summer for ski equipment, winter for water equipment) you will find pretty decent sales and selection.  

Staff is knowledgeable but I have never had a truly impressive salesperson, they don't seem particularly passionate about their wares.
