Suki knows hair. I discovered her after my other hair stylist suddenly decided he didn't want to continue cutting hair, (after 10 years - ouch.) Suki is also very accommodating, and will sometimes stay late so that I can make an appointment. What I think sets Suki above the rest is her ability to see the specific hair growth patterns that each individual has, and cut their hair accordingly. She's done a great job each time I've made a visit. She's a breath of fresh air in a sea of Super-Cut trained stylists.

I was also persuaded to see Suki after reading the great Yelp reviews. For me the experience was incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my second visit to her skilled hands!
I went in with a specific style in mind and was very clear as to what I wanted. However, what I got in return was pure heaven!!!!!!!!!
I am smiling all the time!!!
When I look in the mirror, I can't stop looking at how beautiful my cut is!!!!
The care and professional way that she worked with my hair is really like none I've seen in any stylist. Suki is beyond a senior stylist, she is a credit to her profession and in my opinion the best in the bay area.
I mean I am ecstatic about my hair!!!!
By the way, I loved how she made sure everything was alright as she went through my cut.
Suki is very deserving of 10 stars if it were possible. She is always booked and everyone I speak to while waiting loves her.

Saw the rave reviews so I went and she was cool, but my layers are not growing out very well. Not worth the $50. Cash only btw.
Who is Suki?
Suki is the BEST in the bay area. I've tried so many. But Suki Rocks!!
She also is an artist and her eye for detail makes her working with hair so great..
She was recommended to me by a friend and I am SO thankful!
Her prices are very reasobnable and lower than many in the bay area.
I think they way she sort of styles you is really her gift and makes her unique. Of course if you want just the plain look, she can do that too..
No matter what, Suki's the most talented that I've come accross in many years!!!
Suki really is a treasure!!! Check her out!!

Wish I could give a 6 star if I could but Suki is an excellent senior hair stylist! Her style is my style, very modern, and chic! She has an artistic background and vidal sassoon training. I can be picky when it comes to my hair style but I feel pretty safe trying a different style with her instead of same ol' I just cut a semi-mullet hair with lots of layers and I really like it. She takes time to listen to what I want and does what she does best.
I like how she doesn't just cut your hair the way you think will turn out well, instead she recommends what will look better for your face type and head shape. Some of my friends just want to go for cheaper places but they're always left unhappy and so have I and have to wait until the next cut. I'm a frugal spender too but I'm all for paying a bit more if it will get me a happy hair. You get a $10 off the first time then $55 afterwards. I've been to places that ask for $80. min for a senior stylist so Suki is affordable compared to other senior stylists in bay area. The only caveat is the location. It's hard to find, because it's on the second floor and not at street level. You can miss it easily. I hope people will soon discover Suki's talent and good eye.

I had been looking for a good hair dresser since I moved to California
from New York. One of my neighbors recommended Suki so I gave her try. I feel so blessed to have met her. She is not only an excellent hair dresser but also she is sincere and kind. Her skills are top notch!!!
For the first time in my entire life, I feel so great about my hair.
She examined my hair texture and treats and transforms my hair into a beautiful and shiny look.
I just love her and what she does. I highly recommend Suki.

I look for a balance of skill and personality in a hairstylist. Suki is both charming and an expert with her blade. Recommended to all.

Been to Suki twice already and each time I am amazed at how much detail she puts into cutting my hair. Been to plenty of hairstylists but always am disappointed when I walk out. Not with Suki. She takes the time to really listen to what I want and then makes sure I am pleased with the end result. She is up on the latest hair trends and definitely cuts with style. Not the cheapest cut around but if you want cheap, go to supercuts. Suki is well worth the money in my opinion. Top-notch hairstylist.
I've been going to Suki for about ten years (from her own salon Nepo to Panache to Tresses last year) and she never disappoints. Not only is she a great and funny person, she always gives me a great cut that grows out really well because she knows I'm not coming back for 3 or 4 months. I've got heavy straight Asian hair, and her cuts give my hair volume and shape.
Tired of the $14 "Chinatown" style haircuts...you know the type, when you tell them you want to try to grow it out a bit and try something new, then they say "OK," and proceed to cut it the only way they know how, and you end up looking exactly like you did the last time? Well Suki is totally the opposite of that. She's takes her time, and as an artist, has a good eye for what will flatter your face. I'll definitely be back. Plus, if you walk in off the street, you get $10 off your haircut. $40 bucks for an awesome haircut, and she is totally fun to talk with! What more could you want.

I followed Suki, a top hair designer at Panache salon, when she moved to Tresses on Solano Avenue. My hair always gives stylists trouble, but Suki always gets it right. Originally trained as an artist, she has a real eye for getting that perfect shade in colors and highlights. She even does the new Japanese straight perm. It was often tough to get an appointment with her on short notice, but now that she has relocated it is much easier - at least until she gets rediscovered in her new locale.

Suki has been cutting my hair or a year now. She always aims to please, and always does a great job. I have really thin, fine Asian hair, and somehow she finds a way to make it look full. She also does a final dry cut, after the blow dry to make sure she didn't miss a thing. Not many stylists take this much care!
Definitely check her out sometime @ Tresses! The salon is really nice, a great location on Solano Ave, near shopping, bakery and restaurants. It also has a great view of the street.
Suki is the best! She's been cutting my hair for years, across 3 different salons.
She's the only stylist to whom I will say, "Do what you think will look best."
It's always a great price, and she always makes me look more handsome than I really am!
