I grew up going to this park. Now I live in LA. When I come back, I feel I would just die for a park like this. It's well maintained. There is all kinds of wild life and they have hiking of many types with easy to follow paths.

My dog wanted me to pass this along:
Hi, my name is Dante and I don't talk much (unless I get really excited or I think someone is on the front porch - or maybe even just walking by), but I wanted to let everyone know how much I love going to Sugarcreek. It's clean, there are always other dogs for me to check out, and if it's an especially good day I might get to take a dip in the creek - unfortunately always followed by a bath which I don't particularly love. Anyhow, you should take you dog, or if you don't have someone awesome like me around it's just a great place to take a nice walk or jog in the woods. Bring a bowl of water and a friend and you won't be disappointed. BTW - if you don't want to bring a bowl and water that's ok, they have a doggie water fountain next to the people's water fountain!
