not grandiose as i would expect with a hotel like the intercontinental. but overall not so bad considering its a marriott...
the banquet hall was humongous and they did a good job of making it quite impressive for the wedding... catering was done well. if the hotel though was the one that brought the food, i have to say the food was burnt for the pasta dish though.
i like how there is a free parking garage with actual parking spaces available! i wish valet parking was free for wedding guests though.
the area itself i wish was less ritsy feeling... don't like the metered parking on the streets... this is houston dammit!!!
the hotel rooms looked kinda basic... even the hampton inn rooms kinda looked better than this!

Nice Hotel Lobby - Horrible Rooms
The window curtains did not block the lot from the nieghboring construction sight and kept me awake all night and the bedsheets hadn't been washed properly, smelled funny, and give me a rash.
Unfortunately, its probably still the best place in town (sad commentary)
