I've lived in the area 27 years. sudbury pizza has always been great
for takeout. consistently good food, prices and ( drumroll) they are real
community players... kind to kids as well as parents, they know people
by name. They are a warm friendly family owned business that make you
WANT to support them. -

I went here with my family today for the first time based on the 4.5 stars. We got a chicken parm and a meatball sub. Both subs were disgusting. The meatballs were poor quality frozen meatballs that were probably 50% filler. The chicken were patties that were poorer quality than chicken mcnuggets.
The owners should increase their prices by $2 per sub and use real ingredients. There is no excuse to have such crappy ingredients. -

I love this place..
I live in LA now but stop by Sudbury pizza every time I am home for a visit. Try the veggie sub, even if you aren't a vegetarian. I promise, it's amazing.... -

Pizza is good, the sandwiches are great and the service is outstanding.
I went to Sud P's every day for lunch when I was in high school and try to swing by whenever I am back in town.
Nick and his family are good people, and do a great job running this business. -

Reese gets props for giving the "I work on Rt. 20 review" of the lunch scene in Sudbury. Sudbury Pizza is a special place for those of us who grew up there. It's THE spot to go grab lunch once you're a jr/sr bc the high school has an open campus.
That said, yes it will be super busy during lunch and prob'ly filled with high school kids who'll hop back in their BMW's or SUV's and race back to the high school afterwards.
The pizza itself, is mediocre, super greasy, but big slices cheap. Go for the subs, the bread is great, fillings are great, the subs are well, just great.
The real reason to come here is the service. Nick (tall, grey haired guy, who clearly runs the place) is super friendly, and if he knows does things like walks around and gives out free chips every once in a while. Once they get to know you they'll remember your order, say hi like you're a friend, not a customer, and they trust you. Meaning, they let you order, eat in peace, and pay on your way out, it's a small thing but it means a lot.
For your first time, go early or go late so you can really enjoy the place, when its not busy, then go back when it is and you'll like it even better. -

The day we moved to Sudbury, we ordered Sudbury Pizza for the moving crew....and never went anywhere again! For the year we lived there, we absolutely loved it and frequented it for both take-out and dine-in. Everyone is super friendly (always gave our daughter a free bag of chips or gave us a 2-liter if we ordered a lot of pizza). The pizza is typical Greek pizza - airy crust, greasy, just YUM! The subs are amazingly delicious - there's just nothing like it. Totally reminds me of my hometown Greek pizza joint (Orbit Pizza in Holden, MA). Can't go wrong here. It's the best.

3 stars solid, why not.
so i have been here twice, both times take out and both times relaying to mer, oh, just go to giannis! i someone is mentioning the competition in the actual review, that should tell you something? right?
so time #1 mer had a veggie sub, i had the chicken parm. my thoughts? not bad, sauce was average, chicken was boxed prior to me eating it. not too bad over all. her veggie was not too great, i think she mentioned the allocation not being up to snuff with what a veggie sub should be. what do i know, thats what you get for going veg.
second time was what it was all about, the pizza. now from what we were told, this is greek style and while (censored) i prefer Neapolitan. to my surprise, this wasnt the deep dish greasy mess i was use to when you say greek pizza. on the contrary, the crust was light and airy and the cheese wasnt a oil slick. we still housed it pretty quick, so thats the stuff i say. although, you know what they say, when its good, its great and when its bad, its still not that bad, or is that about (censored)
not bad, the place is right but edgell when it gets to 20. so its about 4 minutes from the other go to. i think they take credit, but even so, i prefer my italian connection. -

Just got lunch here.
Not only was the sub great, but it was so inexpensive!
$3.50 for a small veggie is unheard of, and they packed it full with veggie goodness!
And boy do they know how to toast a sub, it was done perfectly!
I can't wait to go back again. The prices are so great I don't feel guilty about not brown bagging it once a week. A Greek salad for $3.25. Crazy!Listed in: Lunchtime in Sudbury

I lived in Sudbury many years ago for 5+ years and am happy to hear that Nick is still running the place and that it's still Greek pizza. When I was there it was the best place in town. A medium pepperoni, a large Greek salad, and a couple pita breads was our normal order for many years.

Oh my god. Serious old-school pizza, of the 'grease on your chin' variety. Eat it while its hot -- when it cools down, you'll regret every bite.

Just walking in here reminds me of coming in with my grandfather when I was young and having him sit me on the counter and eat free chips while we waited for the mountain of pies that we ordered to be ready. No other pizza place smells quite the same. Wrapping up my Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve I forgot to eat and stopped in here to get dinner for the family on my way home. I ordered a large cheese pizza, which was crispy on the bottom, perfectly cheesy on top and a large Italian grinder with all the fixins. I love the touch of the shredded lettuce, no one does that anymore. $12.50 for a great meal served with a side of nostalgia - simply can't be beat. Merry Christmas to me indeed!

I grew up in Sudbury and went to L-S and Sudbury Pizza is the best you can get in terms of subs. They are amazingly delicious, not to mention the people who work there are some of the nicest people in the world. I'm not a fan of greek pizza so I don't love the pizza but the chicken parm and chicken cutlet subs are sooo fantastic, you really can't go wrong!

As one of the closest places to my workplace, and right on route 20, this place gets a lot of business during lunchtime. In a non-descript strip mall next to a Blockbuster Video, it looks like a trashy place, but the food is pretty good, fast, and the prices fit. They've got the standard pizza/sub menu along with gyros and salads. All the seating is located inside the dull interior, which looks like it's stuck in the 70s. There can be trouble finding a seat if you come during one of the rushes.

Good, consistent, fast pizza. I can't complain about a place who says "it'll be ready in 10 minutes" and it actually is. Even the cheese pizza is good, though my favorite at the moment is Nick's with grilled chicken, bacon (and we're not talking bacon bits, we're talking BACON) and a big drizzle of ranch dressing once the pie comes out of the oven.
