If your patience needs to be tested and your not is a hurry for who knows what you will end up with this is the place for you. Waited in line for 25 mins to find out they are out of pretty everything excpt Italian and turkey. Ugh

6/18/23-4:30pm we stop at the bus on this subway sandwich store. The server who serve us was so RUDE. I don't know if she understand diversity . We bought sandwich , other one was suppose to be everything except onion, the other one has no jalapeño. It's cleared that she suppose to listen them first before she talk because she wants to finish everything all at once. She can't understand because she is not focus on what she's doing.
For your info: that lady who works with you at this time is not NICE.
She should know that customers are always right. I guess she is a racist.
She needs more understanding and she should know that all people who lives in this world are not Americans alone. There's also a migrants who just came in America. She should learn the word PATIENCE.

Bread was hard and tough and meat had after taste . I was worried for a moment ! They have signs for freshly sliced however it's the same as I recall from the past just stacked in containers . Even the chips seemed stale . Date was Dec 2023 so who knows .

We got stopped on 80 in Colfax because of weather. We parked in the Subway parking lot to wait and decided to get something from Subway and use the restroom. The person who waited on us said bathroom was closed. I asked if they closed bathrooms because of the road closure and she said yes I said well that was nice way to treat customers she said oh well! We left without ordering food!! Pretty crappy way to run business. Never go to subway again.

So today was unbelievable at this Subway! My daughter, boyfriend and I after a hard day of work go to this Subway. Tired and hungry. We order and decided to dine in , relax and enjoy our meal. As soon as we set down and unwrapped our food one of the employees started to sweep up dust. There was so much dust It was floating around , you could even taste it in the air. It was starting to make us sneezing, runny nose and allergies. It was getting on our food. We try to Indore the situation, but it was more than we could stand. I kindly asked the staff. I said please! I was not trying to be rude, but if she could please stop sweeping until we were done with our food. She replied that she had a schedule to get her work done and that she was going to stay on schedule. I told her that we all have allergies and that it is affecting us. She told me to go outside and eat. Well.......we all know right now is allergy season so we could not go outside to eat. My daughter, especially suffers from seasonal allergies and sweeping up all that dust in our faces, and on our food was something my daughter just could not take. I had to drive her to the emergency room. We all had red eyes, but she got the worst of it. We were there for four hours. I do not understand why somebody would be so inconsiderate and rude to somebody's situation especially when they tell them we have allergies and they continue sweeping! Not a care in the world or never any consideration, only rudeness and sticking to her stubbornness. I can understand cleaning but to clean at 5:30 something that could be done before or after work, when they do not have costumes dining or maybe a wet mop. Please! We picked up and left everything! Food was no good. The rudest person ever, no class ! To bad. I have a lot of friends and family here and everyone in the hospital when my daughter was telling them she could not breathe, why and where. All her friends at Colfax high school. That will not see her in school tomorrow.

Staff is super rude and wont let you use the bathroom to pee unless you pay for something FIRST... was going to buy a sandwich but I'll take my business elsewhere. Inside looked dirty anyway.

On our way to Truckee area we stopped by this Colfax location as it was right off the hwy80 freeway, easy off and back on freeway. Store was busy there were about 4 people in front of me and people were still coming in. They work pretty quickly as didn't take long to get our food prepared.
Our sandwiches were made to order, My husband ordered the Spicy Italian and I ordered the sweet onion teriyaki. The breads and condiments were fresh and everything tasted great. We ordered a kids meal ham, cheese with tomatoes sandwich for our granddaughter she really enjoyed her sandwich. They didn't have any kids toys and offered a cookie which was okay she didn't know the difference and loved the cookie treat for her dessert. My husband and I also bought a cookie too because I love their macadamia nut cookies they are so delicious and fresh.
I was surprised their drink machine was open for patrons to use as all the fast food places I have been too they are closed off. I didn't see them clean the debit machine or counter where they put your bag cleaned after each person. This is usually common practice during COVID.
All employees were wearing masks and gloves and they have two rows of tables in front of all counters for distancing from food counters but not the register. No eating inside due to COVID. My family was driving towards Tahoe and this Subway was right off the freeway, next to a gas station, and had a decently clean bathroom (LOL) - so they're getting five stars from us.
We visited two weeks before Christmas, on a weekend. They had 5-6 employees, 2 making sandwiches, 1 as a cashier, and 2-3 in the back ?

Owner was so rude...may be they think its a tourist spot and customer satisfaction doesn't matter. This is one of the main reason I stopped going to sub way, I tried today after few yrs, experienced same kind of rude behavior, overall subway chain doesn't train franchisee owners how to behave with customers. They treat customers like shit. Employees working there will be good, but these manager/franchise owners behave like bosses on the customers. I WILL STOP GOING TO SUBWAY.

Place doesn't honor the coupons sent to us in the mail. Girls are rude at counter. Why send coupons if you can't use them?! No good Subway in Colfax
