Yes, the owner is cranky and rude- and yes, the place is not pretty and it can be a tad bit awkward the first time you go. But you can get your eyebrows threaded for $8.00 and they do an excellent job.
So the choice is $25.00 to get it done somewhere else, probably not as well in a fancy place with pleasant customer service or this place.
I pick this place. -

Came here to support my girl Julie and her henna tattoo on her feet for her wedding. They told Julie that friends could come with her and watch/talk to her while getting it done..... but no one that was NOT getting service was allowed in the back..... the "back" meaning the back stock/break room for the employees.
They also do threading, haircuts, barber cuts, facials, nails, and "liscio japanese straight perms"..... alright.
