Stuey's after a work event.
We def needed. Sat @ the bar while our hubs sat elsewhere. Our bartender was constantly checking in on us. There was another patron there (who seems to be a regular). He was def fun and gave us the energy we needed!
Mixed crowd, good for people watching.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 113182847Aug 19, 2023
Located in downtown Lees Summit, this is one of the bar the local go to. Friends gathered here for drinks, food and music. Full bar with cocktails and beers menu. Parking along street or a lot next to the building. Inside people gather for food and a quieter spot to talk, eat and watch sport. Outside patio is where the party happens. Band playing, people dancing and nobody cares what you do. Just have fun.

Really good stop! My family comes here often but it is my first visit. We were seated fast and brought our food and drinks within 15-20 min of ordering. Definitely good food! Good flavors for bar style food, and nice and filling. Also a good selection of beers that are not just IPAs, stouts etc. we had the radler it was quite good!

Way over priced bar food. Place use to be good. Went way down hill.
$13 for spicy cheese balls. $17 fir 3 flour shell tacos. Other places in Lees summit to dine. Skip Stuey's.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 235208328Jan 9, 2023
Service is fast. It reminds me of a college bar. It gets super packed on the weekends. Drinks are reasonable and atmosphere is lively. Great place for drinks but haven't tried the food. It's also a cool place to hang out as a group. Lots of standing room and booths

Nice neighborhood bar! Ran into friends and enjoyed the Guinness! The town was lit up with Christmas lights as well! Bartenders were a little too busy to help fast but it was a Friday night so I guess it was expected.

From out of town looking for a spot to go to at 11:00pm on a Friday night. Sat down at the Stuey McBrew's bar for a solid 10 minutes. Zero awareness from the girl working behind the bar, socializing with other employees and not maintaining her bar. Eventually I just walked out and hit another spot. I don't recommend. Bad service / zero hospitality and a unmaintained bar.

Was pleasantly surprised that Stuey McBrew's serves families as well as groups and couples. We visited on a Friday evening and had no trouble finding parking (on street right out front) nor seating at booth right up front. Waitress was prompt and attentive.
It's kinda dark inside and VERY noisy. So intimate conversations can be difficult. Absolutely no one wore masks except the two of us. We weren't crammed together which was nice.
We both ordered side salads with blue cheese dressing. I think they gave us like a chipotle ranch-was fine, but not what we ordered. The Asian garlic charred wings didn't taste anything similar to what I expected but they were hot as described. I should have gone for something more flavorful rather than hot. Hubby got the Beefy Steve's steak sandwich with onion rings. He enjoyed both.
I would rate the experience and food 3.75 stars.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brent H.Independence, MO0143Dec 1, 2023
Honestly no complaints at all. The food is REALLY good. I usually go for the tacos or wings. They have a good variety of beer. And the service is good, unless they get super busy then it can be a bit slow but that's to be expected. This is one of our go to places. The patio in the summer is great and there is a really decent amount of seating inside.

This used to be some of the best bar food. Hopefully, today was just an off day.
We started with the spicy balls, which are always amazing! The boys ate tacos (Buffalo chicken and the Peppa tacos). Two of us had the gualajote. I've always loved it in the past, but they left the cream cheese off today and the bread was really dry. I ordered chips and salsa for my side and the chips were stale.
Hopefully, I'll be able to update my review with another star.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
