Thank you Yelp for the recommendation - Studio Posh was the best haircut I've ever had.

Now, this isn't saying much... I've grown up on $12 trims at barber shops.  But Studio Posh wasn't much more expensive, and I got a whole lot more for my money: a great cut, styling advice, and some witty banter with the stylist.

I want to bring this place back with me to school in Boston!

Studio Posh is WONDERFUL! I took all my roommates there. Elisha has been cutting my hair for over a year and always does a fabulous job. It is definitely worth the money -- and always ask for a glamorous blow out! I usually go here before a big night out, that way I can head out in style.

After getting my hair turned into what looked like a $7.99 eurotrash mullet of sorts at the Great Clips up the street between Gumby's and the tanning salon, I decided it was time to seek out a new place to get my wig busted. I walked by Posh all the time on the way to class, but never gave it any consideration for reasons I'll never know. When I finally gave in and got my haircut by an Asian fellow with a nose ring and a collection of tattoos, I was pleasantly surprised at how cool and laid back a place called Posh really can be. The music on the stereo was a collection of well-known indie stuff (Modest Mouse, Interpol, etc.) coming from one of the stylist's iPods, and the overall feel of the place was almost punk rock. As punk as a hair salon can be, I suppose.

I've been going back to Posh every month or so for the past two years and I always have a great experience. Being the dude that I am, I never go off the deep end and get any kind of color service or wild hair treatments, but I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results every time nonetheless. What's more is that I didn't feel the least bit out of place while waiting for my haircut. Feeling like a total charlatan is the main reason I avoid places like Aveda and Charles Penzone, but I didn't have to worry about that at Posh. Whether you're looking for a radical style change or a quick trim, a trip to Studio Posh is a great experience.

After years of hating my hair and wondering why, I've learned to just go to Studio Posh. Even when I don't know what I want, which is every time I get my hair cut, the stylists at Studio Posh make my hair something I can enjoy for a few weeks before I just let it grow out for far too long, again.

Studio Posh is hip and generally busy. I like their magazine selection compared to some other salons! But in the end it's all about the hair cut, and it's always a good'un here. Always. I have only once had an experience that wasn't completely enjoyable, when a stylist was just a little... off. A little odd. I don't know. I tried to fall asleep so I could be done with it. It was still a good haircut, though, for what it's worth.

You pay for what you get, but is there really a price on beauty? I'll pay for the ooh-la-la and you should, too. Let some other sucker get their hair cut by students.

Studio Posh has been my mainstay haircut establishment since I stumbled across the place many moons ago in my undergrad days at OSU.  I have snuck into those other places (Super Great Clips Cuts, etc...) several times inbetween quality cuts from POSH and I always hate myself soon thereafter.

back in the day my hair fell out in the back of the my head and grew in bright white.  Doctors and Dermatologists had no idea why or what to do about it but my stylist Heather knew exactly what to do, color my freak shock of bright white hair black to match the rest of my head, free of charge...

Heather is no longer there but if she was she would still be my go-to girl for haircuts.  Cynthia has been there as long as I have been going there and she does a fantastic job with my mop top when it needs some attention.  I have yet to find a more comfortable, easy going haircutter, and recommend it for any guy (I don't feel as if I know enough about a girl's haircutting esperience to recommend).  Dudes haircuts $20 - $25.

Very nice store front and interior. Professional staff. Prices are to be expected. I went here for a while because of a specific hair stylist, and admittedly stopped going when she left. However, I had an overall great impression of the place. Additionally my friend who worked there had nothing but good things to say about the place. The haircuts match the pricing as does the staff.

Like Deb K., I too went to Aveda for a long time to save money. And while I don't mind Aveda, if I'm looking for a quality haircut I'll be going to Posh.

It's small and hip (check out the bathroom), and while I'm not striking up a great conversation with my stylist, I completely trust them to give me a haircut that will compliment my face and look stunning.

Just remember that you'll always pay more for a higher quality product.

i went to studio posh on a tip from one of my more stylish friends. my hair was long since i hadn't had a cut in about 3 months. i didn't really know what kind of haircut i wanted, just that i didn't want it short. the haircut i got was probably one of the best i've ever had. my stylist amy was awesome. studio posh is a great place to go even if you're not sure exactly what you want. the stylists are all young and seem pretty hip.

Close to the OSU campus, excellent stylists, and a good price for a "fancy" salon. Never went to the same stylist twice (because I'm the kind of person who likes to call and make an appointment that day), but all of them styled my hair well. This place is also quite  "indie." I remember having a woman cut/style my hair who had very cute glasses and a bridge piercing (not a piercing you see often). I think the prices vary from stylist to stylist, but I never ran into a stylist that cost more than $30 (for a female cut and style).

Love this place! I strayed from here while in grad school and went to the Aveda school near OSU because it was a fraction of the price. But, after one too many bad haricuts and one  - or five - too many hours waiting, I returned to Studio Posh. I randomly was given an appointment with Junite, and I have not looked back since. He's nice, knows what he is doing, listens and gives suggestions. I also get my hair colored by him, and my girlfriend gets her hair and color done by Junite as well. When he washes your hair it's like a little piece of heaven. Overall, Studio Posh is lovely.
