Teresa is amazing! I haven't been here in a while but I remember being very happy with my blonde hair. I have naturally thick, black hair and Teresa was able to turn it into an ash blonde. Being 7 months pregnant, I haven't been able to bleach my hair but I will keep her in mind after my baby is born and I am out of the woods :-).

This is the most expensive haircut I've ever gotten...which says nothing about Studio 728 and everything about me. Her price list is on her website though, which I love.
This is also the best haircut I've ever gotten. The studio is SO cute, Teresa is really nice, and did I mention my hair? Yeah...my hair is the bomb. I know what you're thinking, but I'm not trying to be modest because my haircut is nothing to be modest about.
She did exactly what I asked for which is always a thing of beauty in a stylist. ...and there was a DOG there! A cute wonderful sweetheart of a dog. I like dogs.
My hair has a mind of its own, so I'll bet it's as happy with it's ability to move as I am. OK...this is a little pervy, but I can't stop touching it.

PS I love how close it is to Armadillo Bay! -

This place is GREAT!!! I've been looking around for a good place to get a hair cut and I LOVE Theresa!
The place is super cute and relaxing. It's very clean and cute, not to mention that Theresa and Corrina were super nice. They made sure I was comfortable while i was waiting and they made me feel right at home.
first off she asked me if i was looking for something new or just a trim. I told her i wanted something completely different than my current haircut (lifeless and long), so she gave me a wash, cut, blow dry and style and was very meticulous about how i looked. she really spent time on making me comfortable and super friendly! she knew exactly what i wanted and made suggestions that totally complimented my face shape.
Theresa made sure i knew what was going on and how to style my hair at home. it's the first time i haven't gotten the annoying remark of "wow! your hair is really thick and wavy, guess you wanna do away with that right?" she really works with your hair to make it look good.
needless to say i came out feeling GREAT!!! what's even better is that there's a point system so you can earn hair cuts and other services. pretty spiffy i must say. -

Teresa has done my hair for years and only recently have I stopping seeing her (because of financial reasons).
I always received great service and awesome looking hair. She has a lot of talent that I am sad to say i can no longer afford.
My advice: Trust her with your hair and you won't be let down! If you can afford her services you won't be disappointed.
Way to go Teresa and keep making all of us beautiful -

I went here about 7 months ago and absolutely loved the haircut Theresa gave me. She totally makes her client feel comfortable and does an amazing job. The money I spent was totally worth it and she is the only person I would trust cutting my hair now

Went to Teresa a couple of months ago for a color and trim. She processed my hair too long and burnt my hair off right along the hair line and didnt even notice until I got home. (let me explain why I didn't notice) I was trying to grow my already short hair out so I told her I didn't want to cut too much off. So what did she do? She used shearing scissors, and cut the bulk of my hair out and to try to cover up the burnt strand of hair that was burnt off and that was it. There wasn't any use of regular scissors. To make a long story longer. It was the WORST hair cut ever. I was there waaaay too long and is over priced. I really wanted to like her and also to finally end my search of finding a good stylist...but no luck here.

Update number 4!!!!! Crazy, right? Yeah I know.. but so long as I am more than happy with my hair and Teresa's service I will keep updating so that everyone on Yelp knows just how wonderful she is. I am partially updating my review because I am shocked at the 2 one star reviews she has. There has to be some kind of misunderstanding or possibly they just aren't willing enough to allow her time to rectify whatever they may be dissatisfied with.
Ever since Teresa took my naturally dark brown hair to platinum blonde and back to a dark color I have continued to change the color everytime I go back in which is every 2 to 3 months. So my hair has been processed A LOT since January of this year. In January I was platinum blonde and I stayed that way for a little while with pink chunky highlights, then I went to a chocolate brown with blonde highlights, and now a dark almost black brown color with a purple/plum tone to it and still keeping the blonde highlights. As expected the part of my hair that had been processed the most with platinum blonde experienced some drying and breaking, that is normal for hair that has been that processed but my hair was in no way burned or over processed. Teresa gave me complimentary deep conditioning treatments and in addition to that I went out and purchased the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner and the reconstructing hair mask. Being my hair is colored regularly I have a regular process of deep conditioning the dry parts of my hair once a week, using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and the Moroccan Oil before blow drying my hair. I only wash my hair every 3 days so that it can retain some of its natural oils. At this point you'd never tell my hair had been colored so much and that is in part to Teresa's awesome skills and my own personal up keep.
With that said everytime I leave the salon I love my hair more and more, and I always get compliments on how good my hair looks. I would have never colored my hair this much (I had virgin hair when I went to Teresa and when I did color my hair in the past I did it myself I never paid someone because I never trusted anyone enough). I have been going to Teresa for over 2 years now and I don't regret a single visit to her.
Seriously people if you are ever unsatisfied with anything just give her an opportunity to fix it, she will fix it! And please remember she runs a very small salon, she doesn't answer the phone while with clients and will return calls as soon as she can. Because she does run such a small, personal business if she is out for any reason whether it be one of her teaching seminars or a personal emergency the shop will be closed and and you most likely will not get a phone call until she returns. Keep that in mind.

My daughter and I went to the salon on 12/18/07. My 7 year old daughter had blue and purple highlights put in her hair. The end product was great. The colors are so bright and rich on her black hair. Theresa not only did a great job, but she was so nice to my daughter. She explains everything that she is going to do and answers all your questions. As for me, I had red and blond highlight w/ a jet black base color. My hair turned out just the way I wanted it. I have been to many salons and paid more money, but never had my hair turn out the way I wanted it until now. I also got a haircut and I love the way my bangs turned out. If anybody needs a new stylist, Theresa is the person to see.

Thank you for your comments, Teresa. However , your call was one week later after my posting on Yelp on Monday morning.. That being said if you would have called me instead of writing an update to my comments then we could have worked it out. I did understand the process and did listen to you. and that is why I called back to give you an opportunity to tone it down. My complaint is that you didn't return my call in a timely manner and now responding after these reviews. I wish you the best and hopefully for both of us lessons have been learned.
