We went to Page on Labor Day weekend and after a grueling sunday hike, we were in dire need of food. Unlike most places in Page, Strombolli's was open!
Their beer selection is very narrow but surprisingly they have a couple of tasty italian bottle beers, so why not.
We shared a Tuscan without Feta, and even though it didn't have red sauce at all, the pizza was really fresh and delicious. The crust was just perfect, the spinach and pesto sauce that replaced the expected red sauce was just creamy and tasty, and the cheese was a perfect complement to the flavors. Very reasonably priced & nice service. -

First, a warning: this place might have earned 3 stars if they knew how to measure volumes...or correct obvious mistakes when pointed out. I ordered a pint of beer with dinner...it came in a 12 oz. glass. I asked the waitress to please speak with the manager and, after much time, she returned and said that the glass was 'just the glass she orders for pints'. ...Kind of the equivalent of saying: "I never learned to count but whatever, I'll run a business anyway." I wasn't offered any remuneration.
The pizza itself was decent. Too few of the topping ingredients clustered too near the center. Flavors 65% good. Service left a lot to be desired.
What do you expect?...it's Italian food in a tourist town that wouldn't exist but for some bizarre lake. -

As a guy that takes his Pizza VERY seriously and read the reviews here and thought I would get some carry out after a long work day. What a bad idea. I got a plain cheese pizza and it goes down as one of the lamest pies I have ever had. It tasted like oily bread. Ever the pre packaged peppers and parmesan could offer it no help. I choked down 2 pieces and the rest is still in the box and I am hungry. I wish I would have stayed in and had a hot pocket instead. Go to walmart and get a frozen before you go here.

Went here just a few days back. I liked the ambience. It was a warm evening and we sat in the outdoor seating. The beers felt good after a long and hot day. The pizzas were strictly okay with a slightly toastier-american crust. I felt there wasn't enough sauce or cheese on the pizza - but maybe that's me! The garlic bread - disappointing. They gave 4 slices of toasted bread (yes, bread like from a grocery store) and mildly spread some garlic butter over it. Had some standard bar-style finger foods too, on the menu. Not a necessarily fine selection of beers either.
All in all, it's fine to eat there if you really want to eat pizza (and, more importantly, if you're in Page, AZ!!).
cheers! -

I've spent almost 2 months in Page, AZ. This is the only restaurant that I was willing to step in, to have take out foods with a good friend. Why? Page was a tourist trap and speed trap. I don't support this, and OK foods with 5-star price. Too late for you to escape town if you're reading this now...
I yelped the town right after arrival. Thanks to Yelp, I've got the impression that McDonald and Jack In the Box were as good as the restaurants in town. Not a big surprise here... Hello!!!! Orlando... Las Vegas... Sorry, it can't be compared here... there's no RIDES here except police ride maybe.
Back to Strombolli's. Expensive is the name. $20 for a Calzone, a tiny cup of cafeteria style salty soup, and IHOP-like salad.
Back to the foods. Ordinary is the name, if not simple. But mind you, it's edible. Do I hear big Calzone by other reviewers? Hahahaha.. that's American size. I can chow one down myself anytime at different cities for a few dollars less.
Back to diners, you won't starve in this town alright. Hearsay suggests you will get food poisoning. So be very careful... and you may dine in jail. -

Got the 10' Hawaiian pizza. Good topping, good crust, alright sauce.
Not a bad pizza, seems like a good place. They do have other things on the menu, if you don't want pizza.
Be warned they do not take American Express. -

After a full day hiking in the desert, I was craving salad. Yes, salad. I have no idea why. The people at the front desk of our hotel said that this place had the best salad place in town.
It was pretty damn good. I had the garden salad, which had a bit of seemingly everything on it. The thing was huge! I didn't even manage to finish it.
It comes with bread topped with garlic sauce. Unfortunately, garlic & I don't see eye to eye - I love it, it hates me. When I asked the server to bring me out plain bread with butter instead, she did. The bread is nice & soft, and tasty even without anything on it
The place was hopping - multiple big groups were seating around the time we got there. Thankfully, I think our orders got in ahead of them. The service was a bit slow, but it was friendly.
I'd go back. -

This seemed to be a local spot for families to come have a weekend dinner at so I was hoping it was a gem. I ordered the strombolli and it was so salty on the inside and the outside seemed more burned than normal. My friend got the seafood pasta and it was ok. Maybe the pizza would have been a better choice. The prices weren't too bad, I just wish the quality of the food was a little better and less salty.

I had a calzone here. It was huge, with a nicely done crust but a few too many different pizza toppings inside. It came with a salad that made it a reasonable deal for the price, though arguably more than almost anyone should eat.
I didn't have any of the pizza. I saw that it was on a thick, doughy crust and chose to avoid it.
Service was friendly but slow. -

Somehow my expectations were high after reading their "ads".
We went for the mix appetizer place, with cheese fritters, cheese jalapeno poppers, cheese ravioli fried, cheese xyz...Sounded interesting, but everything had the exact same cheese.
Pizza and toppings were OK (1 topping was undercooked). Decent place to go, but not worth a detour. -

Let me frame this by saying I love just about any Italian restaurant. With that said I loved Strombolli's!!! Great food and we had excellent service. We each had a salad with Blue Cheese.......very fresh, a great assortment, and a dressing to die for, well maybe not die!!!!! Sue enjoyed a small pizza and said it was one of the best she has ever had. Me.......Lasagna and it was wonderful and a huge serving. In fact, I'm having some for breakfast. And the garlic bread was better than average. I felt the price was fair for the meal we received. Wish I lived closer.

Don't waste your time! Restaurant was empty and we were seated by an indifferent waitress who then ignored us. We walked out! No stars!

Recommended by our tour guide from Antelope Canyon. We ordered the garlic bread, Greek salad and one slice of pizza.
Garlic bread arrived about 10 minutes after the salad and after we had eaten most of the free house bread. The pizza was a near no-show and the server was not-so-great. I think the single slice of pizza took nearly 20 minutes and only arrived after we asked for it.
My salad was very good: crisp, fresh, good size portion. My dressing on the side never arrived either come to think of it. That's okay, I can go horse style if needed and often do. Maybe our server thought I said, "Keep the dressing outside."
Anyway, I might go back and take another crack at it given the chance. Food probably 3.5 stars, service and slow kitchen probably 2.5. Gotta give it 3.0 stars (not 3.1) and a "might go back" thrown in as a garnish. -

For the past month, I have driven through and visited Page, AZ several times. Strombolli's has become my favorite place to eat. Their pizzas are delicious. The service is good or bad depending mainly on your server. I have eaten here both during a weekday and a weekend, and they are always busy. The waiting list was kind of bad during the weekend (we had to wait for 45 mins). We haven't had anything else there but their pizzas, which were fresh and well-made. I would recommend this place to eat if you were to visit Page.

Well, after a horrific dinner at nearby Bonker's, this was at least a step up. We went for lunch and they had very good salads, an enormous calzone, and decent pizza.

This is a must stop if your visiting Lake Powell and staying in Page. Heck, we even make it a point to come off the lake one day during our stay for a dinner at Strombollis. Food is very good and we usually get antipasto salad tostart with pizza half Canadian bacon/pinnapple and pepperoni and one sausage and mushroom. Great food all around and the staff is pleasant and helpful. It can get pretty busy during the summer so be warned. Worth the wait though. Prices are fair and they have pictures and paintings on the wall and outdoor seating too.
