So I've ventured from Chicago down to Louisville twice for Lebowski Fest.  I attended the 9th and 10th annual and will continue to return for as long as they host them.  This place is truly amazing.  It's HUGE and I'm really basing a lot of this on the utterly AMAZING little restaurant they have there.  I had THE most delicious grilled cheese sandwich there at the 9th annual Lebowski Fest that I have EVER had in my life.  I was truly distraught this past year when I wanted to order one and the appropriate side of the grill was BROKEN!  Blasphemy!!  In the weeks and days leading up to the fest, I was also counting down the moments until I would be savoring their grilled cheese on my tastebuds.  It was just beyond tragedy when the woman behind the counter delivered the devastating blow.  And holy crap, I think they had diet Dr. Pepper in the fountain machine as well!

I just really dig this place and look forward to every summer when I am fortunate enough to roll there.

It's like the perfect place for LF too because they have a HUGEASS parking lot and that awesome grassy field at the far side of the lot to accommodate the movie/garden parties.

Good bowling. Great beer specials. Even better events.

They do an awesome job with the Lebowski Fest.  Every event was organized, on-time and enjoyable.  The staff does a great job handling a rather large sized crowd.  Nice lanes, bar and game room.  Typical beer selection for a bowling alley.  They make this event fun and enjoyable.

Here for my first and the 10th annual Lebowski Fest and it was great! The facility is clean, smoke free, and fully functioning. No broken down lane 17 and beer stained carpet in this place. The staff were all really friendly, courteous, accommodating, and patient. The white russians were rolling out as fast as the bowling balls were sailing down the lanes. Lebowski Fest not only took over the inside of the Strike & Spare, but the parking lot and the lawn beyond. Friday night the parking lot and lawn were heavily littered with beer cans, bottles, plastic cups, trash, etc. By the beginning of each day all areas were clean and well groomed. My hat goes off to the Strike & Spare staff as well as the Lebowski Fest staff. Wonderful event and looking forward to many more.

This is the bowling alley that hosted the 2007 Big Lebowskifest. They did a really good job of being organized, and of accommodating all of the people that were there. Both days of the 'fest, the bowling alley bar was making White Russians for the attendees. They were a bit pricey, but you have to expect that. Good bowling alley too. Lots to do besides just bowl. Nice game room, and a great big lounge bar that is oh so cozy and retro feeling. I can't think of much more good to say because when a place gets things right you rarely notice all of the good things they do for you. I definitely can't think of anything bad to say about this place.
